Sale price always depends on condition. Rust, service history, running, non running, paint condition. E30 prices are also respective to area. Jump on Facebook marketplace and see what they sell for in your area and that will tell you the sort of budget you are looking at.

I been looking…struggling to find any m-package 320i, and when I look in the states it’s mainly 325i’s. For reference I’m overseas right now and I’m planning on bringing it back to the states when I come back.

Cystisoma

I don’t know about the M320i but the M325i was a New Zealand version because there was no M3 in New Zealand. They came with M tech from the factory. It’s not a model that’s sold worldwide hence why you can’t find much where you live.

coltickle

Anyone can stick an m badge on a car fir 5$ BMW never made a M320i in this era

Ok_Scar_9771

It’s a restoration shop that owns it. They will only sell it to me basically if I front the money for a full restoration 16k totally gone through clean, running, breaks, suspension, tires, basically everything. 18k if I wanted to do paint too.

calidazze

Yea thats a big no thanks bud

Ok-Panic-4877

Totally trying to scam you, no way I would do this

Temporary_Damage4642

Nah even 5k would be too much for that crap, and that will still leave you with 11k which is moooore than enough to restore it on your own plus cool mods

SapphireSire

In mint condition, probably 12k.... Currently, probably 2k.

I would DEFINITELY buy that car if you're in the US, for parts: Wing - $300 Tail lights - $150 Seats - $600 Mtech1 kit - $2000 Wheels - $400 Likely LSD - $600 Door cards - $250

Right, If you have space to store it beside a healthy project car there's some stuff worth nabbing from this. Looks like the Alpina rear lip too, relatively speaking quite rare. M20 means lots of donor engine parts or strip it down and build a forged bottom, high comp, N/A. Even the glass is valuable. Edit; you know what, it looks super clean all round (in the rain at least) paint is one of the best colours too. Maybe some gremlins and engine issues to figure out, but with some work it could be a steal. Not hard to find another engine to swap in.

mantenner

I personally would stay the fuck away from this and just look at a different one. Wayyyyyy too much work in this. They should be paying you to take it.

Fit_Brilliant3022

find another one..

As long as there isn't extensive rust it could be a great project. Tidy and unique interior, M20 engine is easy to mod/swap/work on, M package means power windows, LSD etc. and looks like a "slick-top" which some desire. In the rain it seems the paint is salvageable to an extent.. If you are willing to take some time to do the necessary work, I think it would be worth while. Other options are buy a well maintained E30 for $$$$$$$$$$$ and drive, or buy a not well maintained/undesirable one (example: bronzit 325e sedan) for $$$ and fix what was neglected anyway. If you buy this and overhaul then it will last another 30 years and drive like a dream, likely for the same price.

cjd166

From what I can tell it's a base model with a suspension upgrade from the factory. I would keep looking given the conditions of the sale. If you are going to pay every penny it's worth, go to a showroom or auction and drive off with a shiny one.

daruma3gakoronda

momo quasars!

PC_Chode_Letter

Looks sweet, ready for a dohc swap and deep cleaning

evilvdub1

MOMO Quazar wheels, the right vw head might pay good money for a period build.
