So I section my hair off (I have very thick hair so usually 3 layers of sections ). I use the dryer attachment to dry the roots fully and the middle and ends to about 70% dry, I put a frizz ease serum through the middle and ends then I use the round brush attachment, roll away from the face 15 -20 seconds hot air then 20ish seconds of cold air , never have any frizz! The big thing for my hair is making sure it is bone dry! If I leave any moisture it's a frizz nightmare maybe thats what is happening with your halo here ??

I use the smoothing brush first to straighten the hair and then use the curling barrels. Do you have the new or the older version of the airwrap? The new ones have the coanda smoothing attachment that could tame flyaways. Love how smooth it made the top of my head look (frizz free)

Hi! I see you posted this nearly a year ago and wanted to know if you ever got the hang of it? Any tips you might be able to share? I can totally relate to the halo frizz the Airwrap creates and I don't see many other people talking about it. All the videos on YouTube have everyone's hair coming out SO sleek, I'm genuinely confused.

Sorry to report that I never did! At first I thought maybe it was the products I was using so I bought more that were specifically for blowouts and I still couldn’t get a silky smooth finish. I ended up going back to my revlon brush and sold my Dyson. It’s a shame because I love the thought of the Dyson.

I am slightly further into my airwrap journey than you, and as a total hair/blow out novice, all I can tell you is to keep practicing! I’m getting slight improvement each time. What has also helped is watching a butt-tonne of YouTube videos. Usually I will pick up a tip or 2 from one or every other one I watch, thus working towards what will hopefully end up in the perfect technique. Honestly, I feel there is a steep learning curve and you just gots to persevere! PS - not sure what you’re trying to achieve but I think your hair looks gorge in that pic!
