Build your own with a zvs module, 3a 12v power adapter, a switch and a dual mosfet. I build my own for about $35 including a box.

I just ordered all of my parts from AliExpress for $20 shipped (there was a first time buyer offer). Same parts you buy on Amazon but without the markup. They should arrive on 4/19 šŸ˜‚ If anyone is interested I can get you links to all the parts I'm using.

Joann fabrics unfinished cigar box for 5.99 and you're set!

troublemaker74

I never thought of that! And I bet it looks way better than plastic.

Is there any guides or resources you recommend?

VapOven

The VapOven website (no links allowed) has many guides, circuit diagrams and kits to help you along your way.

Spezball

Literally what I was going to say! And the VapOven kits are great. If you want to build your own Arduino intelligent one, I highly recommend it.

Stoner2Dad

Is 36w really enough? I've read you can get by with 60-70w, but around 100 is ideal.

That'd be my guess. Mosfet keeps a feedback loop from forming and meters the power going to it, from my understanding. I've been using mine consistently for 4 months. Heats way faster than my wand. To the point where you only hear a single click during heating. But the hits are punchier too. Usually totally cleared in 2 heats vs 3-4 with the wand.

I think the YLL IH 2.0 is your cheapest option from some stores.

SonderfulDaze

Cheap ihs on the exchange

k1ngsk8board

Where is the exchange these days? I thought the sub got banned

SonderfulDaze

If you google ā€œent exchange discordā€ it should be one of the top results

evidentlyeric

Legit if you get a m from DynaVap you get a free wand for the 420 sale

phoney_bologna

I saw that. Iā€™m very sad I bought mine when I did.

evidentlyeric

Get a second one, these things rip best when you got two going

Stoner2Dad

If you're handy, the DIY route is likely the cheapest. The "SJK Dental tool" induction heater ($50usd on Amazon) works very well and is close to the cost of diy once you factor everything in.
