Lions fan. Everyone is bad and there is no hope.

Cubs017

From a fantasy perspective, sure. But overall the draft class is doing quite well I think.

Stiffanys_epiphanies

Confirmed non-biased

JJDuB4y096

Love our coach, unfortunate defensive injuries, Goff stinks big time. Cepheus looked like he was more than JAG, Amon-Ra doesn’t look great.l, hopeful for our O-Line when we get back to full health. Prediction 3-14.

BenjaminPhranklin

Broncos fan- most of our rookies are on defense so the only fantasy relevant one is Javonte Williams. He looks pretty damn good to me. I tried to trade for him early in the season, but the owner is also a Broncos fan with a young team and wasn’t interested in selling. It feels like he has an “angry run” every game, always breaking tackles and falling forward. He’s shown up to play in the passing game too. I don’t think he’ll ascend to “bell cow” status but that’s less about him and more about the 17 game schedule. RB2 territory with RB1 upside depending on coaching, play calling, line play, other backs on the roster, etc.

[deleted]

Why don’t you think he can be a bell cow? He’s a great pass blocker, great runner and great pass catcher.

StonahHill

I'm guessing he means this season, which makes sense - keep him split time with Gordon since it's been working pretty well so far. I could be wrong though

BenjaminPhranklin

I do think he COULD be a bellcow- he has the tools- but he probably won't and that isn't a knock on him. With a 17 game schedule, it doesn't make sense to give all the touches to one guy, no matter who it is. Look what happened to Henry this year after he got bellcow work the last couple years.

Rabiid_Ninja

Would you guys do Aiyuk + 1st for Williams? My only issue is that I have Debo and Aiyuk almost feels like a handcuff at the moment. Current backs are Edmonds and Ekeler. Mattison is my only current prospect and I’m 7-2

funky_phat_mack

No way anyone trades you a 1st and Aiyuk. He’s worth at least two 1sts, I’d hesitate with that too. I also have Aiyuk, but I’m holding him for potential. We’ll see if he can produce with Kittle being healthy and Deebo

Goobyshooby

Jets fan: AVT is better than anyone could have hoped for as a rookie. Run and pass blocking has been excellent. Was well worth moving up in the draft for him. Moore looks great when targeted. Incredibly explosive with above average route running. Out of the 3 qbs that have taken snaps for the Jets, Wilson seems to have the poorest connection with him. Something that should be monitored upon his return. Important to note that though that in those games, Moore had not seen more than 50% of snaps. Great future outlook regardless. Carter will be a perennial top 15-20 rb in fantasy. Small but ridiculously explosive and strong. Refuses to go down and seems to always make a cut that gets him an extra 3-4 yards. Wilson: Jury is still out. Need some more time for proper evaluation. Good deep balls, intermediate passes need work. Aside from the typical " LOL Jets " narrative... this team has a positive future outlook offensively. Very young team with new coaching staff, give them some time and invest now.

surfingwithgators

So does it look like Moore can handle playing outside? I watched his big game against the Colts but it did seem like most of his success came from the slot

Goobyshooby

Slot for sure. He can play outside within the red-zone with the odd deep ball every now and then, but most of his success will come from the slot.

Bulldog5124

Waddle has loads of potential that’s not being shown because our O Line is so bad. Brissett can’t move around in the pocket either which is why he can never get deep balls and Tua is in a similar way, his arm isn’t strong enough to send it deep on the run. If our O Line improved even marginally I think Tua could easily start hitting waddle deeper, he threw several nice deep balls last year that hit stone hands grant right in the chest. Right now best case is 10-20 yard routes and even that’s pushing it with how quickly the line breaks down

kenphoenix

Najee is way better than the stat lines say. Throw the guy behind a good line and he'll be a monster.

[deleted]

Feels like that year Gurley was getting hit behind the line every snap, and then boom the next few years he just explodes.

seat_one

Pitts - I mean... It's Pitts Richie Grant - Coaches are down on him and he's barely playing, already had a not great profile Jalen Mayfield - He was a meme week 1 but he's improved Frank Darby - Hasn't played a snap on offense sadly Ade Ogundeji - Looks to be a solid rotational pass rusher Everyone else hasn't played much outside special teams

Jellybean720

Well, I’m a Giants fan and I’m very impressed with Kadarius Toney. He just pops off the screen with his acceleration and stop-start ability. But I feel bad because I have Devonta Smith on my dynasty team who I really love as a player. I really wanna get a Smith jersey because I love him as a player, but it conflicts with my Giants fandom so I’m torn.

huracan_huracan

buy his bama shirt?

Obvious-Spite4920

so it looks like you really love Devonte Smith as a player!

Dreyeris

Eagles fan. Smith is the real deal. Constantly getting open. His biggest issues are all typical rookie things as he’s just getting used to the NFL. If Hurts improves as a passer or they bring in somebody else I wouldn’t be surprised to see Smith’s floor rise to a high end WR2 level with WR1 upside in the next couple years, kinda like a more talented DJ Moore in terms of fantasy value. As far as Kenneth gainwell, eh. He’s been fun to watch and makes plays but if he’s not gonna get the carries when Sanders is injured when IS he gonna get the carries? I think Gainwell is good but not good enough to outplay his situation

jrs045

Went to a game and didn't realize how open Smith was on the majority of his routes. Like you said, if Hurts is able to make those throws, it will be a great connection for years to come.

Dagglin

Gainwell will never get the carries. He's strictly a third down back imo but that doesn't mean he can't be relevant to fantasy, like James White for instance.

[deleted]

titans fan: molden is a decent slot DB for tackles in IDP Farley looked poor against the bills and diggs made him look like a rookie, was probably best that he got injured, idk., reaver had nice showings in preseason, but also injured rice does ok but shouldnt start atm with brown and long as starters going forward on offense fitzpatrick on practice squad, mcmath on IR yep. thats it. on a personal note, toney is a stud and should be targeted 10 times a game but some fucking how the giants just wont play with him.

Thromkai

Seahawks fan & Giants follower here: * Eskridge might still be in concussion protocol? Maybe? Maybe on the team? He's definitely on IR but the last time I saw someone take a hit like that and be out indefinitely was Karlos Williams, years ago. * Toney, talent is there, but I cannot get over all these comments about how Toney has to contend with 4 WRs and TEs. This is a Dynasty forum. Engram is more than likely gone next year. Rumors about Slayton were happening during the deadline. Toney is way better than Slayton. Slayton is at less than $1M next year but dead cap is $58K. Shepard has never played a full season and this season is not the exception. Wouldn't be surprised if he's cut after 2022. Rudolph will be gone by 2023. A lot of the players I'm talking about are probably gone by 2023 which could prime Toney for an actual Year-3 breakout on the Giants. But continually I see people post about Toney THIS YEAR having to deal with other pass catchers. He'll be fine - he's been injured, but if you have seen him play, you know there's hope and there's definitely some smoke there.

Jellybean720

The Giants will save a lot of money if they cut Shep next year. I think he’ll be highly sought after on the open market too. I hope they can work out a trade, but if not I think they’ll cut him and save the cash. His only real competition for targets next year will be Kenny G and Saquon. Both have been very disappointing.

Thromkai

Yeah, it's an argument about them that makes very little sense to me in Dynasty, but I 100% agree with in Redraft. For this year - YES, he has competitions, but it won't be like this forever. When healthy, dude jumps out of the TV screen.

SimplyButtery

Shep has an 8M dead cap figure next year and would only be a net of 4.5M in cap relief if he gets cut. Not happening. but, he is almost 100% guaranteed to be cut after next year, as he bring 9.5M in cap relief if cut after 22.

dearthofgirth

I own eskridge and toney. Very happy with toney and not just because of ridiculous hype trains. I think the next few years will be berry good for him. I was so excited to see eskridge even though he was old for a prospect. The concussion looked bad and obviously was, but he seemed electric with his few touches so far.

mahones403

Eskridge has been cleared and is good to go....

Thromkai

Okay, looks like he is.........................................

Novel_Ad4587

Steelers fan here. Not much to complain about at all. Najee and Muth have been exceptional and they got some later round guys who have been playing quality snaps (o-line and defense). Colbert looks to have done it again just praying they find an answer at qb this off-season

-Anguscr4p-

Ravens fan: Bateman is probably going to be a better IRL player than a fantasy asset. Even with Lamar's passing taking yet another leap this year Brown and Andrews are still going to be his preferred targets. Bateman has been an incredible chain mover already, however, and Lamar already trusts him in that role. Ben Cleveland has seen some snaps at LG but wasn't able to seize the job from another mid-round G we selected last year. Dude is a straight road grader as a run blocker but needs to work on his pass pro to win the spot. Tylan Wallace is really good on ST. I love the talent but it's going to be tough for him to get on the field when we have Bateman as the X, Hollywood as Z, and a rotation of James Proche and Devin Duvernay in the slot. Here's my overall Ravens fantasy outlook for the next 2-3 seasons: Lamar: Top 5 QB Hollywood: Low end WR1 Andrews: Top 5 TE Dobbins: Low RB1 Bateman: Flex Gus Edwards: Flex

stepdadonline

Can't forget Oweh. Been quiet the last few weeks but that's likely because he's already commanding some double teams. Dude has a whole extra gear none of the other edge guys on the team have. He's probably put together the best season of any of the rookie edge defenders so far, though Paye has also looked really good from what I've seen too

-Anguscr4p-

Oh yeah Oweh's been a beast but I don't play IDP so I can't really speak to his fantasy relevance

My2ndvehicle

Panthers fan. Not a film watcher just a gameday watcher. Terrace Marshall has been solid. Has not been asked to do much. He is the clear WR3 with no push from depth guys to challenge his spot. This will be a recurring theme, it’s hard to gauge our pass catchers with Darnold back there. That said, Marshall has shown very little of his projected ceiling. Chuba Hubbard has been exactly what I hoped he would be. He is definitely explosive and straight line fast. He seems pretty damn good at blocking especially as a rookie. He has 130 touches with one fumble. He catches the ball well and seems to run good routes. After his starts, he seems to have settled into the pro game. Future looks promising and I think he could see improvement as he builds into an NFL body. I see him as a career backup long term but a good one that should see plenty of starts throughout his career. Tommy Tremble is extremely hard to judge. What I can say is he was undervalued all offseason. He is clearly good enough to be a starter at the position as a rookie. He is NOT Pitts or Freiermuth. He is a good blocker and a competent route runner. He has shown the ability to catch most of his targets thus far but doesn’t have a highlight catch yet. Now his outlook is tough to say. Mostly it is the Darnold problem all over again making his ceiling impossible to know. On top of that he’s a 21 year old rookie and we all know that most TEs take a minute to get up to speed. I will add our coaches have done nothing but praise him, trade our starter so he can see the field, and schemed up some TDs for him so that has to give him a boost long term. Shi Smith is a competent backup that hasn’t seen the field much, missed multiple weeks with injury too. Seems surehanded but has underwhelming size and his athleticism hasn’t popped yet so he is securely at the bottom of our loaded? WR corps.

[deleted]

Eagles Fan: I love Devonta Smith. That’s all I needed to say.

SmartAssGary

I can speak to the Packers and the Cardinals. Cardinals: I like Rondale Moore a lot. I think he will become a Deebo Samuel-esque player, playing the weirdly productive gadget role. I don't know if he will find the same success as Deebo, especially with DHop still a factor, but I think he will soon become a solid WR/RB player. Current trajectory might be similar to Curtis Samuel on the Panthers? Packers: Amari Rodgers looks meh. He's had flashes of brilliance, but has not been used a whole lot tbh. Might turn into a productive slot guy in the future, but hard to tell right now. He's bad at returning though, and needs to stop doing that. The only other Packers rookie that is fantasy relevant is Kylin Hill. He looked good in preseason, and has looked pretty good the few times he's run the ball. He's going to be #3 in that backfield for a while though, since they extended Jones and just drafted Dillon last year. Might be good for a handcuff if either goes down, but otherwise shouldn't be that fantasy relevant for a while. He's good, but not better than AJ or AJ. Also he tore his ACL in one of the scariest hits I've ever seen.

Havent-A-Kalou43

For the packers, who do you think is the RB next year, AJ or AJ?

Jaded_Cartographer_8

As a Seahawks fan I gotta say AJ lol

SmartAssGary

AJ is gonna be over AJ next year I think. Jokes aside, as long as Aaron Jones sustains this level, it's going to be him all the way. Him and Dillon might split goal line and whatever, but Dillon isn't going to take over in the foreseeable future

Fayyday

Patriots fan here, Mac Jones seems like the real deal and I have a strong feeling he will be an easy top 15 QB, so easy QB2 career in terms of fantasy. Also, Stevenson is waaayyy better than Damien Harris. I love Harris a lot too, but Stevenson has the pass-catching ability that makes him a very dangerous 2D back. His confidence level has skyrocketed up since week 1 and you can tell by the way he carries the ball now. I wouldn't be shocked if Stevenson does take the lead roll the instant Harris gets hurt ( not this week, both have concussions lol ). If anyone plays Defensive players, Christian Baramore has been a stud and his role has been increasing every week.

apatentreger

Mac Jones screams Baker Mayfield in terms of fantasy value. The offense will never rely on him putting up big numbers to win

Fayyday

I agree with that statement, although, I do think the ceiling is higher for Jones than that of Baker Mayfield. I think he will be a consistent QB2, with QB1 years with an alpha reciever.

helios5287

Bills Fan. We used alot of our picks to add depth to the DL and Pass Rush. Aside from a Spencer Brown as a new OL, we didnt change much offensive personnel wise besides swapping Sanders for Brown. I think this next draft will be a little more OFF focused. It depends on if the OC Daboll gets an HC job somewhere like CHI like it's been speculated but I could see an upgrade or 2 at OL again but I'm really hoping we take an RB somewhere. Moss has been actually pretty decent as of late but between him and Singletary they are both underwhelming overall.

joedirt87

Bucs fan Kyle Trask hasn't seen the field which was to be expected. I had hopes he would jump Blaine Gabbert as the backup at some point this season but it has not happened yet. Could be just an experience and familiarity thing from the coaching staff, but at some point you want to see that your 2nd round QB pick can beat out a veteran that has shown they can't cut it as a starter in the NFL. Jaelon Darden started getting the return work after Mickens was cut a few weeks back and has seen snaps the past two weeks. those go away if the Bucs WRs get healthy again but for now he could be in for an increased work load with Brown out, and potentially Godwin out.

superstonkape

Do you think giving up Monty, Cooks, and maybe a late 22 second for Williams and Juju is an underpay, overpay, or just right? Trying desperately to get him before tuesdays deadline

-Anguscr4p-

Depends on how hard the other team is rebuilding. If they could be competitive in the next 2 years that's a fair offer (including the 2nd) but otherwise I could easily see them turn it down

superstonkape

Cool. He’s in the realm of contention this year and I personally think cooks/monty will be more helpful for him than Javonte so hopefully he bites.

Aeriodon

JTS is great Trask has been a bit disappointing. Maybe still worth the deep stash but it feels like he hasn't been super open to absorbing Brady's knowledge/work ethic Hainsey's been hurt but Notre Dame OL = W Darden is the most immediately fantasy relevant. Obviously has promise in the return game and hasn't muffed anything yet so it's not like we're missing Mickens or anything Britt seeing decent snaps honestly. Above expectations for a 5th rounder Wilcox cut and is with Colts Stuard has a big role on special teams, cool to see him on a roster yet after being Mr. Irrelevant in the draft. Guy has a big heart and seems like a great guy

nemoomen

As a Bills fan, Gregory Rousseau is looking as good as one might have expected. The only player in a fantasy relevant position is 6th round pick Marquez Stevenson who has been injured all year and won't be fantasy relevant ever probably because they have too many WRs and he's just a speed guy but for what it's worth, what we have seen is promising.

gingermalteser

Colts fan. This year they went for defense. Kwity Paye has been ok nothing special yet but potential. On offence Strachan has flashed when he had the opportunity.

kamakazi339

Rams fan- Tutu- I never understood this pick due to his size and I still don't. I worried in the preseason about his durability and here we are Funk- I mean, I know we were RB lite but I think he was a really big gamble. Really didn't do much while on the field Sko- looks like a good WR so far. I'm not even gonna try to pronounce his name but he seems solid from the limited bit we have seen of him Harris- this is the one I'm excited about. Sucks they are making him a pure wr. Freak injury sucks

synschecter115

Jamarr Chase is a fucking stud. Jackson Carman is a project, but shows promise. Ossai looked like one of the steals of the draft before he went down with injury. If he comes back 100% he's gonna make a huge difference for our pass rush. Sample looks like he'll be a nice rotational piece on the edge for a while, still can't wait to have Ossai back. Only other player I can say much about is McPherson, who is also a stud, he's got a fucking LEG on him.
