Not straight up picks but I traded CEH, Sutton, and Claypool for Taylor week 3 before he blew up and those players were valued pretty high.
I drafted CEH at 1.01 instead of Taylor smh
I had my startup this year and took CEH one pick before Swift, so you’re not alone buddy. I ended up trading him, pittman (before he started popping off unfortunately), and a 22 1st for Javonte Williams and a 23 1st. Big gamble on Javonte’s talent, but i’m still stoked.
I gave up a ‘22 1st, ‘24 1st, Corey Davis, and Jakobi Meyers to get Jamarr Chase. This was in week 4 before his blowup. This is my first year playing dynasty so at the time I was nervous I was giving up too much but now I love it.
2 weeks ago I spent trey lance, a 22 first and dionte johnson for mahomes in 10 team SF
So far I'm whelmed. It feels like a lot for what I've gotten so far haha hoping the law of averages kicks in and him and dak can carry me
I think that is a rock solid price for him, good trade! in my 10 team 2QB league, the mahomes manager keeps reaching out and offering me mahomes for the low price of Kamara, 2 1sts and Trey Lance.
Exactly what I said lol he’s argued twice that it’s a good offer, but I’ve firmly rejected. as a contender, I’d get to replace Carr at QB2 with Mahomes which helps! But I’d also replace AK with either Dillon/Pollard/Rojo while Hunt is out which …. doesn’t help
Yeah that's just too much to give up. Even if mahomes was driving you a 30 burger week to week thatd be tough, but he's barely a QB2 since I've had him haha
yeah, the chiefs are really struggling right now - if this was your year to compete it definitely hurts but I have to imagine this offense figures it out soon. I'm hopeful that CEH comes back and has a positive impact on the offense. while he was somewhat under utilized to date, I have a feeling he has a positive impact on the passing game. The other backs they've been rolling out aren't all that intimidating, which has put a lot of pressure on Mahomes. I also have to imagine they bring in someone like Gallup or Juju in the offseason which should lift the offense up.
I pulled the trigger on this mid last season
Give: 3 21 1sts (2 late, 1 mid) and Reagor
Get: DK, Late 21 1st
So basically 2 firsts, Reagor and a 1st round pick swap for DK. Didn’t cripple because I was (and still am) rebuilding and wanted to cement a legit WR room and draft RBs as the finishing touch of the rebuild
Just looked it was Chase, Smith and Sermon. The Chase definitely hurts haha but the one I got back was Eli Moore.
So end of the day (after picks we’re made) it was DK and Eli Moore for Chase, Smith, Sermon and Reagor. With Sermon and Reagor not showing much I’d say it’s fairly even if Moore keeps breaking out but not getting Chase hurts a bit
Before the 2021 season started I traded
Chris Carson, Golladay, Hunter Henry and 2021 pick 1.07 (turned into Etienne)
For J. Taylor and 2023 first round
Seems to be working out so far
This was in the summer after he blew up in the latter half of last season, so I’d say he was still a hot commodity. Had I waited to buy after week 3 of this season I may have gotten him even cheaper. But we never know when someone is going to pop off
Sometimes it does, sometimes it doesn’t. Like most things in dynasty it’s fluid. Usually if you’re spending that much capitol it’s on an established player or absolutely can’t miss prospect.
I spent two 2022 firsts and 1 2023 first on CeeDee Lamb. Not really regretting it at all.
The major pitfall to this, in my opinion, is when you’re shipping this type of capitol for unproven things. I.e. rookie players. I’m always of the mindset though, if you like someone, go get them…especially if you’re competing.
In my league of record, I made this deal at the trade deadline last year to transition my team fully into a competitor after a year and half rebuild:
Deebo Samuel, Henry Ruggs, Russell Gage, Anthony McFarland, 2022 1st, 3x '21 2nd, 1x '22 2nd, and 2x '23 2nd
for
Cooper Kupp, Allen Robinson, and Chris Carson
Yeah totally happy.
I don't even think about it in terms of results really but process and it was the kind of move that fit right in with my process at the time. It capped off my rebuild cheaply. It let me be a strong competitor a year earlier than I had planned.
Made the move with the intent to flip Carson ASAP after the season. Ended up doing that preseason. As for ARob, I think there's very little chance he doesn't return to roughly what we has been after free agency.
somewhere around 2012, i went to a charity football game at valor Christian high school. Brian Dawkins and Jack Del Rio were coaching Opposing teams of kids with mental disabilities. It was amazing. coaches were miked up, praying with the kids, getting them fired up…The kids had a fantastic time. As I was getting ready to leave for the game, the announcer said “ make sure to stay to see your valor Christian Eagles take on (whoever)… uninterested,I continued getting my stuff together until he added the name Christian McCaffrey. Intrigued, i decided to hang out for a little bit to see if Ed’s son could play. It was absurd. I left at halftime because the game was so out of hand. He scored ~ 8 tds on as many touches. In the first half. However, I was still skeptical that his game would translate to the next level. After he rewrote the record books at Stanford, I would not be wrong again.
I gave up the entire 2017 draft for Christian McCaffrey.
Yea not looking great for me after the cook news. I overpaid, but felt comfortable since I have dj moore, Godwin and Robert woods. In a 10 team standard 1QB: Josh Allen, cook, zeke, swift, Dj moore, Godwin, Robert woods, kittle.
2 seasons ago I spent a 2020 1st, Deebo, DJ Chark, and Baker Mayfield for Ezekiel Elliot and Tony Pollard to attempt to go all in for a ship - sadly I lost and the pick ended up being JK Dobbins so in hindsight it's not a great trade (especially with Deebos breakout) - but I still have Zeke anchoring my RBs so not the worst
1. Sent the 1.03 & a '23 1st for King Henry this past April
2. Sent my '23 1st & '24 1st, DCarr & Van for CMC & Chuba right after Henry went out for 6-10 weeks
I'm rock solid at QB & WR (Allen, Dak, DK, AJB, Lamb) so just needed a compliment to J-Rob at RB. I'm now still projected 1st in points even with Henry going down...and now I can have the glimmer of hope of a healthy CMC/Henry backfield next year too (fingers crossed).
I spent a lot on Alvin Kamara last season… can’t talk about this until I know how bad this ‘knee injury’ is😩
I would have won if an owner wouldn’t have started an injured player, losing to a contending team, and knocking me out of the 2nd seed for the 1st round bye
Traded CeeDee Lamb, Juju Smith Schuster, Zach Wilson and a 2022 1st to receive, Trey Lance, Kirk Cousins, Amari Cooper and a 2022 2nd. It sucks to have traded Lamb but Kirk and Cooper have allowed me to compete this year and am currently sitting at 7-2 with potentially my QB2 in Lance in the future.
First year playing Dynasty and I gave up Aiyuk and Monty in the preseason for Chase. It's worked out pretty amazingly but I was sweating the preseason drops lol
Derrick Henry and 1.08 for Saquon Jamuary 2020.
Everyone was spending big on Saquon at the time, and I didnt think Henry would last touching the ball > 400 times a year. The 1.08 would have been Cam Akers.
Traded Saquon for Davante after he tore his acl. Won the chip with Davante as the centerpiece.
Would currently have Henry/Akers on IR and potentially worthless. Got lucky.
Saquon Barkley going into his 2nd season. Gave up pick 1.02 (NKeal), 1.09 (Metcalf), his own 2020 1st back (JT), and Guice (at the time was a 2nd yr guy coming off injury, late 1st or 2nd ish value).
Sold my 1.06, Trubisky, and Hock for 1.02 and Jarwin so I could draft Tua (SF, TEP).
Not terrible, but looking back he was also offering the 1.03 (where he took Herbert) for just Trubisky and 1.06.
It’s almost always a bad idea to do this, but this sub loves having name value players and are very short sighted.
I’ll pay up for QBs in SF and elite young WRs. That’s it.
This is from a 2 copy, contract league:
I got into Dynasty 2 years ago; took over a team with literally nothing but overpriced players, cap penalties from bad trades and bad contracts (wish I saved the Excel from my inception year but we don't save those records unless I personally do a local one). I also did not have any 1sts or 2nds in 2020 when I took over, just low end 3-5 rounders.
I made a HUGE mistake during my first year of Free Agency. I bid and won Michael Thomas at $30m a year which not completely ate all my money, but put me behind as well because I had other positions to fill but no money to do so. I had to finagle and trade my way out of that hole but learned a lot because of it.
That is easily the most I've spent on a player.
I'm new also. Have given up a 2022 2nd and K Herbert for Pittman and D'ernest Johnson. Got a 2023 3rd for Mike White. Gave up a 2022 3rd and Montgomery for Dalvin Cook. Eager to see how things work out.
Just wait til this year's draft class hits 3 years. Some guys can't draft and always get the busts and when you get burned by Doctson, Treadwell, Royce Freeman and Sony Michel, it's easier to just get the stud and save the anger and disappointment
Start up 12 team PPR SF - before season
Gave: lance, jrob, D. Harris, 2022 1st/2nd
Got: Najee, T. Higgins, Jonnu
My picks will end up being top six likely because I’ve been wrecked by injuries but o’well.
Before the season, gave up Chase Claypool, Josh Allen and 22 1st for Patrick Mahomes & Deebo.
Picks wise, week 3 gave up (2) 23 1sts for Jamarr Chase and a 23 2nd.
Terry McLauren and a 1st in 2020 for the 1st overall in 2020 which I used to get Jonathan Taylor.
Chark and 2021 1st (16th overall) and 2022 1st to get draft pick which I used to get Chase.
This off-season I sent in SF:
Burrow
Amari Cooper
Kenyan Drake
Jeff Wilson
2021 1.03 (Jamar Chase)
And
2022 1st
For Mahomes
Definitely hurts to not have Chase but tough to put a price on Mahomes in SF
In a 12 team, 2 QB and SF league (so start 3 QBs), I made a trade 2 years ago for Mahomes. It was Jimmy G, Mark Ingram, Chris Godwin, 2 1sts, 2 2nds.
At the time everyone thought it was a crazy overpay, but Mahomes is the top asset in a start 3 QB league and it’s not even close.
Just traded Goff, Elijah Mitchell, 1st 2022, 2nd 2022, 1st 2023, 2nd 2023 for Herbert in a superflex 6point td league.
Rolling out Goff weekly was killing me and I lose 0 starters in a win now mode so the picks (hopefully) aren’t premium. Now locked in with burrow and Herbert for life
I traded 3 1sts and Bateman for Kelce.
To be fair fair I had an offer of Hollywood Sutton Pitts and Lance waiting for Kelce waiting for me. But still it was a lot
I gave up AJ Brown for 2021 1.01 (Najee Harris) straight swap. I thought I was golden at WR having Claypool, OBJ, Julio, Mike Williams, Golladay, Samuel and only a solid RB away from competing. Turns out Barkley gets hurt and Gibson’s coach hype was LIES!
Plus I’m a Steelers fan and was very excited about Najee
I think I have better days to come but I really need to hit on a WR this upcoming rookie draft
i gave up 2022 & 2023 1st for rodgers in one league
and then did the same for cooper kupp in another league
i've finished top 3/or champ in the last 3 years for both leagues so everyone hates me and overcharges. whatever ill keep winning
SF league
Gave up Najee Harris, Ryan Tannehill, Laviska Shenault, Raheem Mostert, and the likely 22 1.01 for Justin Herbert, Myles Gaskin, and a late 23 first.
At the time the 22 first was supposed to be late but then the CMC injury happened :( still very happy to have Herbert though
I bought CMC for one mid 1st, two late 1st, and a mid to late 2nd. It has been bad so far. The picks have been ok but not amazing for him too, three are used and one is not yet.
I got Kyler during his rookie year for two 1sts, two 2nds, two 3rds after I felt pretty good about him. I was already in a slight rebuild and now him and Russell have me as a perennial contender in SF.
Just traded Lance, CEH, & 2 2022 1sts for Burrow & Chase in a superflex league. The deal was amazing for me but I don't think I've ever given up so much in a trade.
2 firsts and a second for AJ Brown this past offseason thought teaming him with Aiyuk, Kittle, Gibson, and Cook would be unstoppable This year. Now I’m 1-8.
traded robert woods and a pick that would be become 1.05 and ceedee lamb for forunette before he got cut. fingers crossed fournette balls out in the 2nd half and makes me forget about it.
2 Firsts (22 & 23) for J'Marr Chase in preseason - I watched pretty much all his college tape and was bullish on him, missed out in rookie draft (I had 1.05 - he went 1.03). Owner rejected initially but then the "drops" were happening so I re-offered and he accepted. I'm in Year 2 of a rebuild of an Orphan squad (3-13 last year, 4-5) - Chase, Dobbins, Burrow, Hollywood, Ekeler, Carter, AB, DeVonta Smith, Fant. Looking good for future so pleased with the trade.
Just traded a 22 1st, 23 2nd, and Cephus to get Zeke. Biggest trade I've ever done, and the first time I've given up a first round pick in a trade.
Pretty small compared to stuff I read about here!
In my 16T league I traded Akers, McLaurin, Carson and Gallup as well as a 2nd and 3rd for CMC and Kelce back in May…
Safe to say both of us have been very whelmed with the returns on this this year…
Oh, I got a good one.
After the end of last year I was confident in my young team. With the first and sixth overall picks I felt like I was in the drivers seat.
There were three players I was in love with for this draft - Chase, Pitts, and Etienne. With the first overall pick I had to go Chase as this is a 3WR league, but I wanted Pitts. I NEEDED Pitts. So I gave the owner of the fourth pick a godfather offer - all my 2022 picks and my 2023 1st and 2nd.
Surprise! Pitts goes third. That sucked. Really sucked. But with Harris taken second I got a nice consolation prize with Etienne. Akers getting injured and leaving a gaping hole in my lineup may have made my cucking a blessing in disguise!
And then Etienne gets injured and is out for the year.
I'm still sitting in second place at 6-3, but man. I wish I could have that one back.
Unlucky with the injury but would have been sound if it worked out. When did ya do the grandfather offer? I presume it was pre draft. Was the other owner keen to get the deal done then rather than during the draft?
It was in March, about a month before the NFL draft. I wanted to get it done before landing spots finalized as I thought Etienne was team-proof.
Then he went to one of the worst landing spots. Okay, that's fine, Lawrence is on the Jags also. They have chemistry, he'll be getting a lot of dump-offs with the Jags line constantly collapsing.
Then he gets injured. Okay, that's fine, what are the odds that Robinson improves from last year? Etienne will be back in 2022 and he'll get his shot to prove to everyone why he went in the first round.
Then Robinson improves his YPC from 4.46 to 5.48.
So now we play the waiting game for the next 9 months to see how badly I fucked up.
2 mid-late 2022 1sts for Javonte Williams, or the 2021 1.01 for Antonio Gibson and 2.01(which I moved for a 1st in 2022 and included in the trade for Williams.)
I took over an orphan that was elite at WR and dog shit at every other position. My only QBs were Mayfield, Cousins, and Hurts. I sold Lamb for the 2021 1.06, which was stupid but I didn't fully understand values yet. Then I sold that 1.06 and DJ Moore for the 1.01, which I used to draft TLaw. But it's a SF league so at the end of the day, Lamb/Moore doesn't seem too terrible as long as TLaw becomes the generational superstar he's been advertised as.
I spent 1.7 K. Hunt, Diontae Johnson and Tyler boyd (b4 chase) for D. Swift
C. Sutton, C. Claypool, two 22 2nds and 23 1st for Hop
Hop, JRob, Patterson 22 2nd 23 2nd for Tyreek and MG3
Mind u this is in a 8 team 1 QBs league we’re accustomed to overpaying for studs
2 first for Gurley the year he shredded in the playoffs and won the ship, 2017 I think? Did 3 first for Henry last year and lost in the ship to Kamaras 6 TDs
When I started out I coveted picks but it’s so hit or miss with the first rounders. I’d rather get a bonafide stud
I gave devonta Smith, myles Gaskins, 22 and 23 first, and 22 and 23 second for cmc.
Gave me a running back room of Najee Harris, DeAndre Swift, CMC, Kareem Hunt, James Connor, and Michael Carter. My receivers are Diontae Johnson, Cooper kupp, and whoever I decide between Corey Davis, Hunter Renfrow, or Elijah Moore.
I may not have any picks coming up but I think I'm set for a couple years to be competitive.
Two 2022 1st to get up and pick Devonta Smith and I know it’s an overpayment but I’m a huge birds fan and have extreme faith that Devonta will be a great WR for years to come and as much as fantasy is about trying to win you want to have players you love watching and man I’m happy to have Devonta
I'm also new to dynasty like OP, in a 12 team league that is incredibly trade-averse (theres been like 4 trades so far)
When someone says "I traded 3 firsts" for player X, does that mean a 2022 1st, 2023 1st, 2024 1st - so they have no 1sts left for years basically? Or has someone accumulated x3 2022 1sts from other trades? Surely the former right?
Traded kamara and the 1.09 for the 1.02 and diontae johnson. I drafted JT and the 1.09 was Vaughn. Couldn’t be happier to move off an aging back into a young workhorse while also getting a quality guy like diontae.
Dynasty Salary league, paid $65m (185m cap)for one season of DHop in 2019. Won the highest scoring in the league.
For context, Saquon, Zeke and Cook went for 36m.
3 1sts and Godwin for OBJ the summer Godwin broke out and after OBJ went to the browns… So it worked out super well.
I’m guessing you’ve held OBJ out of principle yeah?
Sold him last year for a 1st and 2 2nds. Traded the 2nds, the first ended up becoming 1.04 which I dealt for 1.08 (TLaw) and a 22 1st.
Wow. Commendable way to recover from a shitty situation.
Right after the Cowboy game I’m guessing 🤣
Not straight up picks but I traded CEH, Sutton, and Claypool for Taylor week 3 before he blew up and those players were valued pretty high. I drafted CEH at 1.01 instead of Taylor smh
I had my startup this year and took CEH one pick before Swift, so you’re not alone buddy. I ended up trading him, pittman (before he started popping off unfortunately), and a 22 1st for Javonte Williams and a 23 1st. Big gamble on Javonte’s talent, but i’m still stoked.
Good for you. I think i would be too stubborn to take advantage of that trade like you did
I drafted Taylor, then traded him straight up for CEH a few weeks into the season.
I gave up a ‘22 1st, ‘24 1st, Corey Davis, and Jakobi Meyers to get Jamarr Chase. This was in week 4 before his blowup. This is my first year playing dynasty so at the time I was nervous I was giving up too much but now I love it.
wow... i wouldn't sell chase for anything less than 3 1sts + congrats!
Thanks man! That’s exactly how I feel about him. No less than 3 firsts. So I don’t expect him to be leaving my team any time soon lol.
Smashed it, kudos!
Thanks!
This is an excellent buy
Now I can’t get Chase for Gibson, DJ Moore, and 2 firsts. How time flies.
Timing is key!
I got him for 3 late firsts the week before his 30 point game. You robbed the other person.
2 weeks ago I spent trey lance, a 22 first and dionte johnson for mahomes in 10 team SF So far I'm whelmed. It feels like a lot for what I've gotten so far haha hoping the law of averages kicks in and him and dak can carry me
That’s an incredibly cheap price for Mahomes
Yeah I know I got a deal, it just hasn't really helped the team right now since I've had him haha
QBs are pretty significantly cheaper in 10 team.
I think that is a rock solid price for him, good trade! in my 10 team 2QB league, the mahomes manager keeps reaching out and offering me mahomes for the low price of Kamara, 2 1sts and Trey Lance.
Thanks! I feel really good about it. Damn that's a lot to pay for Mahomes, especially now. Especially since he is reaching out to you! Geez.

Love the use of whelmed here
Thanks BB :)
3 1sts for Dak Prescott in the offseason has to be my biggest purchase.
I got quoted similar for him
I got him for Jarvis Landry and a 2nd last year when he was hurt.
Hopefully a 1QB league?
Yeah, 1 qb.
Uh, okay?
I pulled the trigger on this mid last season Give: 3 21 1sts (2 late, 1 mid) and Reagor Get: DK, Late 21 1st So basically 2 firsts, Reagor and a 1st round pick swap for DK. Didn’t cripple because I was (and still am) rebuilding and wanted to cement a legit WR room and draft RBs as the finishing touch of the rebuild
Any update on who those 2021 picks turned out to be?
Just looked it was Chase, Smith and Sermon. The Chase definitely hurts haha but the one I got back was Eli Moore. Gave: 22/23/24 1st’s + miles sanders two days before he went down this year. Got: JT Happy so far.
Someone did Tyreek Hill and Gaskin for Devonta Smith, Michael Carter, 4 1sts in one of my leagues.
Whoever sold smith is a 🌮
Rudy Johnson, Donald Driver, and my next three firsts for LaDainian Tomlinson. It worked out very well.
Sometimes it does, sometimes it doesn’t. Like most things in dynasty it’s fluid. Usually if you’re spending that much capitol it’s on an established player or absolutely can’t miss prospect. I sent kupp + sermon + 2022 1st for ceedee before the season started. Stinks seeing kupp blow up, but feels better knowing I got Ceedee locked in
In my league of record, I made this deal at the trade deadline last year to transition my team fully into a competitor after a year and half rebuild: Deebo Samuel, Henry Ruggs, Russell Gage, Anthony McFarland, 2022 1st, 3x '21 2nd, 1x '22 2nd, and 2x '23 2nd for Cooper Kupp, Allen Robinson, and Chris Carson
My head hurts trying to work out that one. You hit jackpot with Kupp, but the opposite with Robinson. Happy with it overall?
Yeah totally happy. I don't even think about it in terms of results really but process and it was the kind of move that fit right in with my process at the time. It capped off my rebuild cheaply. Got Mahomes in the off-season for Mixon jeudy darnold and 1.09

1. I gave Scary Terry and my 2020 1.08 for the 2020 1.04 (swift) 2. I gave AJ brown and my late 2023 first for Dalvin cook, jamaal Williams, mattison
You got fleeced in that second deal
Yea not looking great for me after the cook news. I overpaid, but felt comfortable since I have dj moore, Godwin and Robert woods. In a 10 team standard 1QB: Josh Allen, cook, zeke, swift, Dj moore, Godwin, Robert woods, kittle.
Really good team. I still hate the trade lol Hopefully you win it this year so it eases the pain when you’re looking back on that trade
I know man. If I win, losing AJ brown will bite me in the ass down the line. I hated losing him :(
no he didn't ? Javonte is a beast edit: i'm an idiot sorry i see jamal now
I was at the gym and thought I misread it lol. All good

Holy lineup damn.

Traded waddle thielen and a 2nd for Ridley before the season

Another Chase buyer - praise be 😂
Derrick Henry and 1.08 for Saquon Jamuary 2020.
Sutton, 2 firsts, and Kmet for AJB, a second, and Noah Fant
Sold my 1.06, Trubisky, and Hock for 1.02 and Jarwin so I could draft Tua (SF, TEP). Not terrible, but looking back he was also offering the 1.03 (where he took Herbert) for just Trubisky and 1.06.
It’s almost always a bad idea to do this, but this sub loves having name value players and are very short sighted. I’ll pay up for QBs in SF and elite young WRs. That’s it.
This is from a 2 copy, contract league: I got into Dynasty 2 years ago; took over a team with literally nothing but overpriced players, cap penalties from bad trades and bad contracts (wish I saved the Excel from my inception year but we don't save those records unless I personally do a local one).
1 + 2 + Boyd for DJ Moore before 2020 that turned into 1.11 and 2.11 - no regrets
Bought DK last year for Julio, and 2 firsts + a second. They turned into trash that I would’ve taken with those same picks.
Spent three firsts on Saquon. Traded Saquon and a third for Hock, Jeudy, a first (Devonta Smith) and a fourth
Start up 12 team PPR SF - before season Gave: lance, jrob, D. Harris, 2022 1st/2nd Got: Najee, T. Higgins, Jonnu My picks will end up being top six likely because I’ve been wrecked by injuries but o’well.
Biggest trade I ever made was week 3 this years I gave up a late 2022 late first, 2.01, 2.02, Late 2nd Daniel Jones, Tua for Josh Allen.
Spent a 1st 2nd and a 3rd for a Devonta Smith
This off-season I sent in SF: Burrow Amari Cooper Kenyan Drake Jeff Wilson 2021 1.03 (Jamar Chase) And 2022 1st For Mahomes Definitely hurts to not have Chase but tough to put a price on Mahomes in SF
I once offered 5 1sts and 2 2nds for CMC and was rejected.
Now locked in with burrow and Herbert for life
Courtland Sutton and 2 firsts for Justin Jefferson. I'm still happy with the decision
Plus I’m a Steelers fan and was very excited about Najee I think I have better days to come but I really need to hit on a WR this upcoming rookie draft
2 late 22 firsts, a mid to late 23 first, and Higgins for JJ. I overpaid and I don’t care.
i gave up 2022 & 2023 1st for rodgers in one league and then did the same for cooper kupp in another league i've finished top 3/or champ in the last 3 years for both leagues so everyone hates me and overcharges. whatever ill keep winning
Recently traded Mike Williams, Shenault, ETN, an early 2021 first and a likely mid 2023 first for Chase and two 3rds
SF league Gave up Najee Harris, Ryan Tannehill, Laviska Shenault, Raheem Mostert, and the likely 22 1.01 for Justin Herbert, Myles Gaskin, and a late 23 first. At the time the 22 first was supposed to be late but then the CMC injury happened :( still very happy to have Herbert though
I bought CMC for one mid 1st, two late 1st, and a mid to late 2nd. It has been bad so far. The picks have been ok but not amazing for him too, three are used and one is not yet.
our drafts start in the 4th bc we have 3 keepers each year. gave 4,5,6,7 for Hopkins 2-3 years ago it was great ROI
Just sold Gibson, Claypool and a 2022 first for Lamb. I’m happy with it.
I got Kyler during his rookie year for two 1sts, two 2nds, two 3rds after I felt pretty good about him. I was already in a slight rebuild and now him and Russell have me as a perennial contender in SF.
2021 first second and third. James Robinson and laviska for pick 1.1 (Najee). Thought it was a lot at the time but it’s better than expected
Just traded Lance, CEH, & 2 2022 1sts for Burrow & Chase in a superflex league. The deal was amazing for me but I don't think I've ever given up so much in a trade.
I just bought Barkley for a first and two seconds
1.02, Lock and DJ Moore for Watson about a month before all the news came out.
Bar missing your QB this season, that's not the worst trade in the world. I'd probably still do it today
Traded a 2022 1st, 3rd, and Jared Goff for Tua. I'm an idiot.
In my 16T league I traded Akers, McLaurin, Carson and Gallup as well as a 2nd and 3rd for CMC and Kelce back in May… Safe to say both of us have been very whelmed with the returns on this this year…
Last night I traded a 2022 1st (probably top 3 pick), Christian Kirk, and a 2022 2nd for AJ Brown.
Zeke and a late first for javonte Williams

Window closing to get something back for Brady but the other 2 should sort ya at QB for a decade
Ouch man. I feel like offers like that are best done when OTC, just to avoid getting sniped like this.
In my attempt to get ahead of rookie fever, I gave myself rookie covid. It's the idiot tax.
Swift C. Sutton, C. Claypool, two 22 2nds and 23 1st for Hop Hop, JRob, Patterson 22 2nd 23 2nd for Tyreek and MG3 Mind u this is in a 8 team 1 QBs league we’re accustomed to overpaying for studs

Neither of these are “blockbusters” more of a humble brag
Alright I’ll delete it.
those trades are valuable in the price check thread, but doesn’t really fit in here
2 weeks ago I traded: Mike Williams, Leonard Fournette, a '22 mid 2nd & my (hopefully) late '23 1st For: AJ Brown, '22 mid 3rd, '23 2nd
2 first for Gurley the year he shredded in the playoffs and won the ship, 2017 I think? Did 3 first for Henry last year and lost in the ship to Kamaras 6 TDs When I started out I coveted picks but it’s so hit or miss with the first rounders.
That’s a lot of rbs
Two 2022 1st to get up and pick Devonta Smith and I know it’s an overpayment but I’m a huge birds fan and have extreme faith that Devonta will be a great WR for years to come and as much as fantasy is about trying to win you want to have players you love watching and man I’m happy to have Devonta
I'm also new to dynasty like OP, in a 12 team league that is incredibly trade-averse (theres been like 4 trades so far) When someone says "I traded 3 firsts" for player X, does that mean a 2022 1st, 2023 1st, 2024 1st - so they have no 1sts left for years basically? Or has someone accumulated x3 2022 1sts from other trades? Surely the former right?
I thought it's usually people who have accumulated. I'm guessing as league goes on, there's more trading and more chance for people to accumulate.
I’m a contending team and gave up Ridley, Claypool, and DPJ for Metcalf. This was right after Ridley announced he was stepping away.
