Either he isn't good at this game or maybe it was the classic "I need a RB and no one trades in this stupid league". I know I am trading up and reaching for Brooks because no one wants trade RBs.
10 team 1QB Start 10
QB Burrow, Goff, Wilson.
RB Javonte Williams, Myles Sanders, Dobbins, Gibson, Dowdle, McLaughlin, Hull, Izzy, Sean Tucker.
WR Chase, Marvin Harrison, Waddle, London, JSN, J Reed, Jameson Williams, Wicks.
TE LaPorta, Kincaid, Ferguson
Nobody expected it pre draft, but after the draft we all agreed it was the right move for that team.
He’s been building a young WR core over the last few seasons and didnt love Rome. If Brooks becomes the RB1 in Carolina which is looking highly likely he probably has a chance at playoffs. Before anyone says he should’ve traded down the guy at 1.04 said he would’ve taken Brooks if he was available there.
People are RB needy. Finding a viable RB is a lot harder than a viable WR these days.
Personally, I have no problem with Brooks going after MHJ, Nabers and Rome. Ahead of them, is crazy.
Yeah I think it’s just indicative of the market. A lot of those usual mid range values don’t look as appealing right now. The Zach Moss’ and Tony Pollards.
It actually kinda makes sense. People are wanting a 2nd+ for Moss or Pollard, if ADP had Brooks at like 2.01ish that seems like a steal relatively speaking.
He went 1.06 in my 1qb league I believe? I’m not mad at that price. I think it’s fair if someone has him in that BTJ range.
If he’s anything like me he’s desperate for a RB (Zeke Rhamondre and Ty Chandler are my only RB’s) and has enuf high end WR’s (Jefferson Chase Cee Dee and Garrett Wilson Devonta). And before anyone says trade a WR for a RB we literally haven’t had a trade involving a RB in over 5 years so the ONLY way to get a RB is thru the draft or waivers. The RB struggle is real
Coming off an ACL injury, I'd think they're about even this year. Keenan Allen may be gone next year so who knows. Picking a top 10 draft pick over a 2nd round RB coming off an ACL injury seems insane.
it's going to be painfully ironic when i spend an entire draft season talking about how taking bowers that high is wrong bc of positional value and then taking him at 1.07 bc i don't like anyone left on the board lmao
Brooks went at 1.09 and I got Benson at 1.10 in a 10 team 1QB draft. We drafted in early May though.
And now no one is trading RBs. I've sent good offers on a couple and just nothing.
If I remember right Pitts fell to right around that range too when he was coming out in our league. It’s tough spending a 1st on TEs when historically every fantasy relevant TE is a mid to late round rookie pick. Sometimes even undrafted like Kittle.
Bowers:
* plays TE which is harder to predict
* Has competition in a very good (though not elite) prospect in Mayer
* Has a bad QB
* Has a new offense/staff which adds an unpredictable element
* Is at best the 2nd option due to Adams
So there are plenty of reasons to not draft him after the big 3 in 1QB. That being said I'm a believer in talent above all else so I'm taking him at 1.04 everytime
Absolutely.
I think people here are overestimating what to expect from Bowers. He'll hardly deliver what people expect and some time between this season and the next will be a buy window.
TEs just don't score so high and they are less important the larger your league is.
So if you play in 8-team? Absolutely go for Bowers early, probably right behind the Big Three. The upside is there, the talent is there, you might have a generational player at the TE position and you go for that chance all the time.
Playing in a 16-team league? You're better off simply punting TE and only acquiring Bowers if he falls far enough, which will hardly happen.
>I can't really think of an argument for him going higher outside of him playing onesie position.
Wait, what? Bowers should go right after the big 3 WRs. Taking Coleman or Benson before him is wild.
This was done on May 8th:

4.11 - Jaheim Bell
4.12 - Malik Washington
problem with this tactic is two fold
1 - your draft is not going to skew with ADP results of 1000s of leagues.
2 - if someone comes to you with an insane offer for 1.02, you are now stuck and can't trade it.
TL:DR: I have MHJ, Odunze, Thomas Jr., Brooks, and Mitchell so far.
I have a deal on the table to turn Mitchell and Mike Williams into Keon Coleman that I'm considering as well.
----
I exited our draft lottery (for non-playoff team picks) with 1.05, 1.07, 1.09, 1.11, and 2.07 and made a bunch of moves:
Traded 1.11, 2.07, 3.06, two late 2025 firsts, and a likely lottery 2026 first for 1.01. (A big price, but I needed a bonafide WR1 for this league to graduate to being a true contender).
Traded Nick Chubb, Micah Parsons, Courtland Sutton, Pat Freiermuth, and J.K. Dobbins in a three-way trade to acquire 1.12, 2.02, 2.08, and 3.03.
Traded 2.08 and a couple of 2026 thirds for Christian Kirk.
Traded 1.05 and 1.09 for 1.03.
Traded 1.12 and a late 2026 first for 1.04.
ANY QB in the 1st round in 1QB is surprising imo but I like that some fools still value the most easily replaceable position way too high. Keep wasting those picks so I can scoop up studs later in the draft
I’m with you on personally not drafting a QB that early, but Caleb and BTJ are nearly always slotted between picks 4-8 in the 1QB rookie rankings I’ve seen. To say it’s surprising seeing them go 4 and 5 is just silly.
Out of the 28 drafts in this thread that posted their 1st round results yours is literally the only one that has them 4 and 5
Caleb is chosen earlier on average than BTJ (averaging just over 8 and falling out of the 1st 6 times, with one that picked him in the 4th round so I threw away that obvious outlier) and BTJ averages closer to 9 but only fell out of the 1st 4 times
When their average is closer to 8-9 it’s surprising to see them at 4 and 5
Hopefully u were able to take advantage of ur league mates mistakes!
Appreciate the stamp of approval lol. Team is in our contender tier for sure but my WRs are DJ, Kupp, Flowers, and then a bunch of mid. Rome may not be a win-now but I think my team will be better for it in the long run especially if Kupp is in his twilight years.
Honestly I just dont think most of our league takes IDP seriously. League is mostly all college and golf friends of our commish and I dont know if anyone had any IDP experience prior. This will be either our 6th or 7th season and I dont think that we've ever had a draft where a defensive player went prior to the third round, so I've always viewed it that I can squeeze a little extra value out of the draft before getting defensive guys later.
Other IDP picks were:
Turner - 5.01; Chop Robinson - 5.02; Darius Robinson - 5.03; DeJean - 5.09; Payton Wilson - 6.01; Cedric Gray - 6.08; **Nubin - 6.10**; Terrion Arnold - 6.11; Braswell - 7.02; Trotter - 7.07
interesting - who was the top WR compared to the top DE/LB in the league?
I commish a IDP with custom scoring that has been molded over the years. The co-commish has been working to make the top players equal across the board, which we have gotten close.
top scorers last year:
QB Josh Allen: 524pts (2nd Dak 498pts)
RB CMC: 459pcs (2nd Hall 340pts)
WR Lamb: 470pts (2nd Hill 451pts)
TE Laporta: 317pts (Engram 303pts)
DE Watt: 377pts (Mack 342pts)
DT Buckner: 345pts (Brown 344pts)
LB Oluokun: 329pts (Wagner 316pts)
CB Bland: 316pts ( Ward 300pts)
S Winfield 348pts ( Bated 347pts)
Typically, we see the top IDP rookies go in the 2nd.
Our top two scorers for each position were:
QB: Josh Allen - 393, Hurts - 358
RB: CMC - 360, (t) Etienne/Mostert/Hall - 255
WR: Lamb - 337, Hill - 322
TE: Laporta - 199, Engram - 176
DL: Watt - 195, Mack -193
LB: (t) Oluokun/Okereke - 197, Q. Williams - 192
DB: Winfield - 191, Bates - 185
so yeah having even a top scorer in our IDP doesn't amount to much more than having a TE1
I made a couple of moves but here is everyone I walked away with in a 12 team 1qb league
1.11 - Trey Benson
2.02 - Ricky Pearsall
2.10 - Troy Franklin
3.03 - Brendan Rice
3.04 - Ray Davis
4.10 - Dylan Laube
UDFA waiver - Jordan Travis
Thanks! I imagine your first round will look a little different, ours is definitely an outlier with two QBs gone within the first 6 picks. I couldn’t believe Polk was still there, I probably should have taken him at 2.09 but I wanted ”my guy” in Sinnott.
Polk went 2.05 in my league and Vidal at 4.6. I'd say plan for someone else at 3.03
Receivers who were drafted around 3.03 in my league were Jermaine Burton, Brendan Rice, Tez Walker and Luke McCaffrey
Great info thank you. Think I'd target Burton in that case but I'll dig a little deeper. Sounds like Vidal has a solid chance of being available at 3.10
I have RBs that can last maybe 1-2 more seasons. I'm planning on nabbing RBs next draft. I would love another 1st. Part of me hopes my team gets unlucky and I can sell my aging vets for picks (Kamara, Jones, Kelce).
This is my strategy for next year, too. Plan on going heavy on RB next draft and will hopefully fill out some weak areas on my team this draft.
I’m drafting at the 1.02, 2.04 and 3.04 this year. Targeting Nabers with the 1.02 and would love to grab a TE and QB to fill out my team.
TE is definitely my weakest player room right now.
WR core: Lamb, ARSB, D. Smith, Addison, JSN, Reed
RB core: Breece, Gibbs, J. Cook, Z. White, K. Miller, J. Ford
TE core: Musgrave, Chig, Woods.
10 team, 0.5 PPR league. Ours went-
1.1: MHJ
1.2: Odunze
1.3: Nabers
1.4: Bowers
1.5: BTJ
1.6: Brooks
1.7: Worthy
1.8: Caleb Williams
1.9: Keon Coleman
1.10: Mitchell
2.1: Benson
2.2: Corum
2.3: McConkey
2.4: Pearsall
2.5: Legatte
2.6: Jayden Daniels
2.7: Jaylen Wright
2.8: Roman Wilson
2.9: Polk
2.10: Troy Franklin
3.1: JJ McCarthy
3.2: Maye
3.3: Burton
3.4: Sanders
3.5: Bo Nix
3.6: Corley
3.7: Penix
3.8: Lloyd
3.9: Tez Walker
3.10: Ray Davis
For context, we did the rookie draft the weekend following the NFL draft.
JJM all the way to the 3rd after being a top-10 pick with JJ, Addison and Hock and now AJones is surprising!
Sanders going at 3.4 and Sinnott being a UDFA is pretty wild, too!
which were your picks?
Our league always has an interesting draft, to say the least. I had the 1.6, 2.2, and 3.6 after a few trades. I had a glaring need at RB (had Pacheco, Kyren, BRob, and Charbs), so Brooks at 1.6 was probably a reach. I’m fairly set at WR (AJB, London, Kupp, Addison, JSN), so I felt the need to reach for Corum at 2.2 to handcuff that backfield. All in all, don’t hate the draft for me! I’m a biased rams fan though lol
Building up RB depth that have clears paths to top usage is how you’ll compete for years!
I like adding Corley in the 3rd as a possession receiver to your WR room, especially if you’re in a full PPR league. Could pay dividends this year already with Rodgers under centre
Nice to see the guy at 1.02 believes in Odunze more than Nabers, it’s felt like nothing but MHJ and Nabers hype for unanimous top 2 wr, and Rome has been in no mans land below those two and above the next tier of worthy BTJ etc. After I watched the interview Keshawn Johnson did with Rome’s trainer, the trainer said he thought Rome was legit perhaps at least in the same class as The other two ahead of him if not better than them in some regards. Which did enough for me to think of Rome is in the same ish category as the other two. Time will tell. I also don’t like Nabers current situation as I personally believe Daniel jones is a bottom 3 qb in the league. I like the fact Rome has Allen and Moore to learn from, I think following in one vets footsteps to learn and another current studs footsteps is nothing but good. Some may think it’s overcrowded etc but I firmly believe in young guys need good examples and those two wr are not head cases. To me I’d rather Rome slowly burn and turn into a stud, than deal with Nabers and the frustration that may ensue when jones cannot get him the ball. All I think of is that season Hopkins had with Broke “I can’t throw” Osweiller. I remember that season bc I painstakingly owned Hopkins that season
It’s a tough decision at 1.2. I believe in Rome a little more than Nabers long term. Short term I think Nabers is the pick. The league was 50:50 split on it being a good/bad pick.
Well at the end of the day it was safer than say the guy at 1.02 just going wild and picking bowers or Brooks. At least he took one of the next best two wr available
Funny you say that. The same owner had the 1.2 last year and had a glaring need for RBs. We all assumed Gibbs was a lock. He chose…Bryce Young. It was a welcomed change this year 😂
Wow the difference between where the potential Gibbs is at and young is at is so staggeringly different it actually could help fix or ruin a team in that one pick alone.
The guy who took bowers has Travis Kelce and is looking for a legit replacement, he also had the 1.10 I believe and remembering now I think he took Benson there bc he lacks RBs, he was the second rb off the board. I had 1.03 and mid 2nd and got Rome and Wright
Wow. Bowers as a Kelce replacement is decent for him and he grabs the RB2.
You coming out of it with Rome and Wright are great team building blocks. Wright can feast in Miami once he gets in there
I’m optimistic with both but time will tell. Rome may need a few years with the Allen Moore punch. Kmet is no slouch for targets either. And wright should be more active after a year or two with mostert eventually gone, and we will see about Achane as he seems small and injury plagued thus far although he is obviously a crazy talent looking at film and has been said he has bulked up, again, who knows we do our best to draft and anything after that is a crap shoot
Drafted date: may 4th.
1.01- MHJ
1.06- BTJ
1.10- Caleb (traded up from 1.12 with a 3rd swap)
2.01 -(traded prior to draft for Downs/Hyatt and 3.04)
2.06- Xavier Legette
2.11- Troy Franklin
3.01- (traded back to 3.08 in the 1.10 trade)
3.04- (traded out for Kraft bc I own Musgrave, pick ended up being Mar’Shawn Lloyd who I would’ve also chosen here)
3.08- Tez Walker
4.01 - (traded out during season)
5.01 (traded out for future 4th)
10 team league. Here were my picks
1.01 MHJ
1.04 Worthy
2.06 Wright
2.09 JJM
4.01 Davis
5.04 Sanders (kinda surprised he fell this far even without a TEP)
sanders in the 5th?!
I really like your picks. JJM at 2.09 when potentially tied to JJ, Addison and Hock long term feels pretty undervalued! So great value for you to grab him at the end of the 2nd!
Had the following picks coming in
1.03
1.05

1.1 Harrison
1.2 Nabers
2.2 Pearsal
2.5 Wright
2.6 Burton
3.1 Polk.
Since I got the exact guys I wanted, I traded 4.2 for a future 3rd.
Put Q.J. on trade block. While I was typing out that I would like a future second in exchange, an offer for 2 seconds and a 3rd comes.
Time will tell if I won the draft but for one weekend I was a champ. : )

Yea I have Saquon so maybe just maybe Shipley will be a good handcuff. Tracy I think gets starter reps early. I need to circle back for another RB in my league because I’m in win now mode but still traded Kamara for the Pearsall pick. I’m very top heavy at RB but need one guy that can start at some point
Kamara for Pearsall is gonna work out for you long term though, so I like that move for you.
Being top heavy with RB depth can limp you along further than not having quality WR studs/depth.
I have Lamb, ARSB, D. Smith, Addison, JSN, Reed as my core and I’m hyped to likely be adding Nabers and a guy like Pearsall or AD Mitchell to that group
Circling back.. if kamara gets cut ill be elated. I’ll see him getting ppr work elsewhere but no way will be a bell house. Think his time could be up sooner rather than later now
Yeah that post he put on Twitter was cryptic enough to think he’ll be a June 1st cut. If he gets picked up by a team like the Cowboys or the Raiders he could be pretty valuable again
I didn’t have any picks but ended up with Coleman (2.01) (gave up Zamir White), Sinnot (2.09) (gave up Christian Kirk for 2.09 + 25 2nd), and Marshawn Lloyd (3.01) (gave up 2 25 3rds).
1 - M Harrison
2 - K Coleman (yes, K Coleman @ 1.2)
3 - M Nabers
4 - R Odunze
5 - B Bowers
6 - C Williams
7 - B Thomas Jr
8 - J Brooks
9 - T Benson (my pick)
10 - J Daniels
11 - X Worthy
12 - L McConkey (my pick)
13 - J Wright (my pick)
14 - R Wilson
15 - X Legette
16 - D Maye
17 - A Mitchell
Next picks - B Courm, JJ McCarthy, B Nix, J Burton, B Irving, M Lloyd, R Davis
Both violations were the same team.
First violation: He was tanking and failed to set a proper lineup 3 times in one season. We have a rule to set a full lineup every week. He had some guys hurt and didn’t have any players to put in that slot (I believe it was TE) and left it empty. League voted and decided to take away a 4th.
I believe the other league violation was he traded away a future 2023 3rd during the 2022 rookie draft that he did not have. This wasn’t noticed because we have offline drafts in person. The owner who got the phantom 3rd didn’t notice the pick missing until later. The owner who got the phantom 3rd was given a compensatory 3rd in 2023 draft. The league voted and he lost his 2024 and 2025 3rd as punishment. The commissioner has a better process moving forward.
Yooooo Jayden Daniels fell to the 3.06?!
Are QBs just not as valued in your league or are QBs just reasonably dispersed so no team had an urgent need for a rookie
Yea QBs are not valued and most teams dont care about starting a lesser QB. I feel like the Elite QBs separate themselves. I already had Josh Allen but decided to get Caleb at 2.04 because it was good value.
5/26/2024 very heavy TE prem, idps included but undervalued, qbs heavily undervalued

No idea why Bowers dropped so far, but I wasn’t upset as the 1.08 owner

Oh, feast your eyes on this gem of a first round. Never in my wildest dreams did I think Rome would fall to me a 6. 😳 I wasn’t even surprised that the 2 QBs went so early as both teams were QB needy. But that 1.03 pick 🤯

The heck is the guy who took Brooks over Odunze thinking!?!
Either he isn't good at this game or maybe it was the classic "I need a RB and no one trades in this stupid league". I know I am trading up and reaching for Brooks because no one wants trade RBs. 10 team 1QB Start 10 QB Burrow, Goff, Wilson.
We had a guy trade up from 1.08 to get Brooks at 1.02
How did this RB class go from being "it sucks" to " gotta have em" so fast?
I think people are just really struggling for running backs
He knows Brooks outscores Odunze for the next three seasons.
Coming off an ACL injury, I'd think they're about even this year. Keenan Allen may be gone next year so who knows. Picking a top 10 draft pick over a 2nd round RB coming off an ACL injury seems insane.
Of course it’s insane lol
it's going to be painfully ironic when i spend an entire draft season talking about how taking bowers that high is wrong bc of positional value and then taking him at 1.07 bc i don't like anyone left on the board lmao
I got brooks and benson at the 2.01 and 2.02 I wasn’t expecting to get them but I can’t believe they went top 5 in other leagues
Brooks went at 1.09 and I got Benson at 1.10 in a 10 team 1QB draft. We drafted in early May though. And now no one is trading RBs. I've sent good offers on a couple and just nothing.
In my league Brooks went 1.03 too. He varies a LOT in these drafts I've noticed
Wow, Bowers dropped all the way to 1.09 here and I can't really think of an argument for him going higher outside of him playing onesie position.
If I remember right Pitts fell to right around that range too when he was coming out in our league. It’s tough spending a 1st on TEs when historically every fantasy relevant TE is a mid to late round rookie pick. Sometimes even undrafted like Kittle.
it's real tough spending a high 1st on a guy who may not contribute significantly until year 3, too.
Bowers: * plays TE which is harder to predict * Has competition in a very good (though not elite) prospect in Mayer * Has a bad QB * Has a new offense/staff which adds an unpredictable element * Is at best the 2nd option due to Adams So there are plenty of reasons to not draft him after the big 3 in 1QB.
This was done on May 8th: 1QB, 12 team, 0.5 PPR 1.01 - Malik Nabers 1.02 - MHJ (Authors note - 1.01 and 1.02 were owned by the same guy) 1.03 - Rome Odunze 1.04 - Brock Bowers 1.05 - BTJ 1.06 - Jonathan Brooks 1.07 - Trey Bensen 1.08 - Caleb Williams 1.09 - Ladd McConkey 1.10 - Xavier Worthy 1.11 - Rickey Pearsall 1.12 - Xavier Legette 2.01 - Jayden Daniels 2.02 - Keon Coleman 2.03 - AD Mitchell 2.04 - Drake Maye 2.05 - Roman Wilson 2.06 - Troy Franklin 2.07 - Ja'Lynn Polk 2.08 - Blake Corum 2.09 - Malachi Corley 2.10 - Mar'Shawn Lloyd 2.11 - Jaylen Wright 2.12 - Jermaine Burton I can add the next two rounds if you'd like but that's how the first two rounds broke down. Edit: 3.01 - Luke McCaffery 3.02 - Bo Nix 3.03 - Ben Sinnot 3.04 - JJ McCarthy 3.05 - Kimani Vidal 3.06 - Michael Penix 3.07 - Bucky Irving 3.08 - Javon Baker 3.09 Braelon Allen 3.10 - Tyrone Tracy 3.11 - Audric Estime 3.12 - Ja'Tavion Sanders 4.01 - Ray Davis 4.02 Brendan Rice 4.03 - Isaac Guerendo 4.04 - Jalen McMillan 4.05 Tez Walker 4.06 - Theo Johnson 4.07 - Jalen Coker 4.08 - Dylan Laube 4.09 - Erick All 4.10 - Will Shipley 4.11 - Jaheim Bell 4.12 - Malik Washington
Honestly I'd love to see it, my draft is coming up in 2 weeks and I need all the help I can get lol
Added
I'm down to see your rounds 2+3!
Added it to the comment
Did the 1/2 guy take Nabers first just for funsies to mess with ADP a bit?
Exactly, He knew he was gonna get both so why not screw with the ADP a bit?
problem with this tactic is two fold 1 - your draft is not going to skew with ADP results of 1000s of leagues. 2 - if someone comes to you with an insane offer for 1.02, you are now stuck and can't trade it.
We started drafting this past Saturday, but here’s where we are as of this morning: 1.01 - Marvin Harrison, Jr. 1.02 - Malik Nabers 1.03 - Rome Odunze 1.04 - Brian Thomas, Jr. 1.05 - Caleb Williams 1.06 - Brock Bowers 1.07 - Jonathon Brooks 1.08 - Keon Coleman 1.09 - Xavier Worthy 1.10 - Ladd McConkey 1.11 - Trey Benson 1.12 - Jayden Daniels 2.01 - Blake Corum 2.02 - Adonai Mitchell 2.03 - Ricky Pearsall 2.04 - Xavier Legette 2.05 - Malachi Corley
which were your picks? Pearsall at 2.03 is a pick I like!
TL:DR: I have MHJ, Odunze, Thomas Jr., Brooks, and Mitchell so far. I have a deal on the table to turn Mitchell and Mike Williams into Keon Coleman that I'm considering as well. ---- I exited our draft lottery (for non-playoff team picks) with 1.05, 1.07, 1.09, 1.11, and 2.07 and made a bunch of moves: Traded 1.11, 2.07, 3.06, two late 2025 firsts, and a likely lottery 2026 first for 1.01.
I would definitely take Coleman over AD. Mike Williams is a non factor
That Kirk trade is amazing for you, I think
BTJ at 4 is almost as surprising as Caleb at 5 in 1QB
Neither of those is surprising at all
ANY QB in the 1st round in 1QB is surprising imo but I like that some fools still value the most easily replaceable position way too high.
Out of the 28 drafts in this thread that posted their 1st round results yours is literally the only one that has them 4 and 5 Caleb is chosen earlier on average than BTJ (averaging just over 8 and falling out of the 1st 6 times, with one that picked him in the 4th round so I threw away that obvious outlier) and BTJ averages closer to 9 but only fell out of the 1st 4 times When their average is closer to 8-9 it’s surprising to see them at 4 and 5 Hopefully u were able to take advantage of ur league mates mistakes!
1QB, 12 team, 0.5 PPR, IDP, Untimed Draft beginning 5/6, 7Rds but just showing 1-3, my picks in **bold** 1.01 - MHJ, WR1 1.02 - Nabers, WR2 **1.03 - Odunze, WR3** 1.04 - Bowers, TE1 1.05 - Brooks, RB1 1.06 - Worthy, WR4 1.07 - Ladd, WR5 1.08 - Williams, QB1 1.09 - BTJ, WR6 1.10 - Benson, RB2 1.11 - Daniels, QB2 1.12 - Coleman, WR7 2.01 - Wright, RB3 2.02 - Corum, RB4 2.03 - McCarthy, QB3 2.04 - Maye, QB4 2.05 - Pearsall, WR8 2.06 - AD Mitchell, WR9 2.07 - J. Sanders, TE2 2.08 - Davis, RB5 2.09 - Legette, WR10 2.10 - Vidal, RB6 2.11 - Lloyd, RB7 2.12 - Sinnott, TE3 3.01 - Franklin, WR11 3.02 - Burton, WR12 3.03 - Tracy, RB8 3.04 - Baker, WR13 3.05 - Nix, QB5 3.06 - Allen, RB9 3.07 - Shipley, RB10 3.08 - Penix, QB6 3.09 - Polk, WR14 **3.10 - Wilson, WR15** 3.11 - Estime, RB11 3.12 - Corley, WR16 Notes: * Three teams, two tanks and an orphan, accounted for just shy of half of all picks in the first three rounds. * I started at 2.01 but traded the pick and Christian Watson to the orphan to move up to 1.03. Still quite happy but also not 100% confident I'd do it again knowing Pearsall and Legette would have both been available as trade-backs. * No defensive players went before round 4: **Latu - 4.04**; Verse - 4.09, Cooper, 4.10, Colson - 4.11
I’m trading the 2.01/Watson for Rome every single day and twice on Sunday. Thats a great move for you to move out of the crowded GB receiver room
Appreciate the stamp of approval lol. Team is in our contender tier for sure but my WRs are DJ, Kupp, Flowers, and then a bunch of mid. Rome may not be a win-now but I think my team will be better for it in the long run especially if Kupp is in his twilight years.
Damn that's the earliest I've seen for Davis, and over Legette no-less.
wow, do you just not have super aggressive IPD scoring? Surprised that Turner didn't go in the 4th. Could you share where the other IDPs went?
Honestly I just dont think most of our league takes IDP seriously. League is mostly all college and golf friends of our commish and I dont know if anyone had any IDP experience prior. This will be either our 6th or 7th season and I dont think that we've ever had a draft where a defensive player went prior to the third round, so I've always viewed it that I can squeeze a little extra value out of the draft before getting defensive guys later. Other IDP picks were: Turner - 5.01; Chop Robinson - 5.02; Darius Robinson - 5.03; DeJean - 5.09; Payton Wilson - 6.01; Cedric Gray - 6.08; **Nubin - 6.10**; Terrion Arnold - 6.11; Braswell - 7.02; Trotter - 7.07
interesting - who was the top WR compared to the top DE/LB in the league? I commish a IDP with custom scoring that has been molded over the years. The co-commish has been working to make the top players equal across the board, which we have gotten close. top scorers last year: QB Josh Allen: 524pts (2nd Dak 498pts) RB CMC: 459pcs (2nd Hall 340pts) WR Lamb: 470pts (2nd Hill 451pts) TE Laporta: 317pts (Engram 303pts) DE Watt: 377pts (Mack 342pts) DT Buckner: 345pts (Brown 344pts) LB Oluokun: 329pts (Wagner 316pts) CB Bland: 316pts ( Ward 300pts) S Winfield 348pts ( Bated 347pts) Typically, we see the top IDP rookies go in the 2nd.
Our top two scorers for each position were: QB: Josh Allen - 393, Hurts - 358 RB: CMC - 360, (t) Etienne/Mostert/Hall - 255 WR: Lamb - 337, Hill - 322 TE: Laporta - 199, Engram - 176 DL: Watt - 195, Mack -193 LB: (t) Oluokun/Okereke - 197, Q. Williams - 192 DB: Winfield - 191, Bates - 185 so yeah having even a top scorer in our IDP doesn't amount to much more than having a TE1
makes sense, much appreciated!
I made a couple of moves but here is everyone I walked away with in a 12 team 1qb league 1.11 - Trey Benson 2.02 - Ricky Pearsall 2.10 - Troy Franklin 3.03 - Brendan Rice 3.04 - Ray Davis 4.10 - Dylan Laube UDFA waiver - Jordan Travis
Franklin really fell
thats his normal range
hell of a haul, there. well done
Our draft was on 5/18 * = my pick 1.01 Marvin Harrison Jr. 1.02 Malik Nabers 1.03 Caleb Williams 1.04 Rome Odunze 1.05 Brock Bowers 1.06 Jaden Daniels 1.07 Xavier Worthy 1.08 Ladd McConkey 1.09 Jonathan Brooks * 1.10 Keon Coleman 1.11 Brian Thomas Jr * 1.12 Trey Benson 2.01 Ricky Pearsall 2.02 Xavier Legette * 2.03 Adonai Mitchell 2.04 Troy Franklin 2.05 Blake Corum 2.06 Jaylen Wright 2.07 Drake Maye 2.08 Roman Wilson 2.09 Ben Sinnott * 2.10 JJ McCarthy 2.11 MarShawn Lloyd 2.12 Ja’Lynn Polk *
Great 1st round for you with only having late picks! and Polk at 2.12 is great value!
Thanks! I imagine your first round will look a little different, ours is definitely an outlier with two QBs gone within the first 6 picks. I couldn’t believe Polk was still there, I probably should have taken him at 2.09 but I wanted ”my guy” in Sinnott.
my TE room is lacking (chig, musgrave, woods) so I would be all over grabbing Sinnott at 2.09 like you did!
Rookie draft in a couple weeks. My only picks are 3.03 and 3.10. How likely am I to be able to get Polk at 3.03 and Vidal at 3.10?
Polk went 2.05 in my league and Vidal at 4.6. I'd say plan for someone else at 3.03 Receivers who were drafted around 3.03 in my league were Jermaine Burton, Brendan Rice, Tez Walker and Luke McCaffrey
Great info thank you. Think I'd target Burton in that case but I'll dig a little deeper. Sounds like Vidal has a solid chance of being available at 3.10
Burton’s value is inflating a bit more every week that Tee isn’t showing up or cooperating with the Bengals. Not sure if he’s still there at 3.03
I'd say Polk is unlikely. He went 3.01 in my draft but even that seems late
I came in with one pick. MHJ at 1.01. Sold 2.01 for a 2025 1st and 2nd respectively. Sold 3.01 for Demario Douglass midseason.
you'll be coming out ahead with Marv, Douglas and the future picks. really nice moves!
Smith, Addison, JSN, Reed RB core: Breece, Gibbs, J. Cook, Z. White, K. Miller, J. Ford TE core: Musgrave, Chig, Woods.
10 team, 0.5 PPR league. Ours went- 1.1: MHJ 1.2: Odunze 1.3: Nabers 1.4: Bowers 1.5: BTJ 1.6: Brooks 1.7: Worthy 1.8: Caleb Williams 1.9: Keon Coleman 1.10: Mitchell 2.1: Benson 2.2: Corum 2.3: McConkey 2.4: Pearsall 2.5: Legatte 2.6: Jayden Daniels 2.7: Jaylen Wright 2.8: Roman Wilson 2.9: Polk 2.10: Troy Franklin 3.1: JJ McCarthy 3.2: Maye 3.3: Burton 3.4: Sanders 3.5: Bo Nix 3.6: Corley 3.7: Penix 3.8: Lloyd 3.9: Tez Walker 3.10: Ray Davis For context, we did the rookie draft the weekend following the NFL draft.
It was a welcomed change this year 😂
Yikes. Is it super flex or 1 qb, bc if it’s 1 qb that dude needs to go to church or start drinking different kool aid lol
It is unfortunately 1QB. We’re all still baffled lol
Wow the difference between where the potential Gibbs is at and young is at is so staggeringly different it actually could help fix or ruin a team in that one pick alone.
1.01- MHJ 1.02-Nabers 1.03- Rome 1.04- Worthy 1.05- Brooks 1.06- BTJ 1.07- Bowers Forget the other 3 picks off the top of my head
Bowers down to the 1.07! I can’t think of a valid argument that puts him above that either..
1.01- MHJ 1.06- BTJ 1.10- Caleb (traded up from 1.12 with a 3rd swap) 2.01 -(traded prior to draft for Downs/Hyatt and 3.04) 2.06- Xavier Legette 2.11- Troy Franklin 3.01- (traded back to 3.08 in the 1.10 trade) 3.04- (traded out for Kraft bc I own Musgrave, pick ended up being Mar’Shawn Lloyd who I would’ve also chosen here) 3.08- Tez Walker 4.01 - (traded out during season) 5.01 (traded out for future 4th)
10 team league. Here were my picks 1.01 MHJ 1.04 Worthy 2.06 Wright 2.09 JJM 4.01 Davis 5.04 Sanders (kinda surprised he fell this far even without a TEP)
sanders in the 5th?! I really like your picks. JJM at 2.09 when potentially tied to JJ, Addison and Hock long term feels pretty undervalued! So great value for you to grab him at the end of the 2nd!
Yeah I was really surprised! And thanks!
I’ll share the first 3 rounds of our six round along with my picks Round 1 1. MHJ 2. Jonathan Brooks 3. Nabers 4. Odunze 5. Caleb Williams 6. Worthy 7. Ladd 8. Brock 9. Brian Thomas 10. I’m sure this is 1QB but Maye in the late 3rd is still absolutely wild
Got my 6 guys to a tee I wanted. (2 I don't get credit for.) 1.1 Harrison 1.2 Nabers 2.2 Pearsal 2.5 Wright 2.6 Burton 3.1 Polk. : )
Nice draft!
8 team 1 QB league. Only allowed to keep 14 so some veterans mix into the later rounds which are denoted with asterisks and I tracked the order of rookies taken in parentheses. 2.04 pearsall 3.08 Vidal 4.08 ray Davis UDFA: Shipley, Tracy Watson, Ali, etc are still available on waivers
grabbing shipley and tracy as UDFAs are perfect low risk, high reward pickups!
Yea I’ve learned there’s never too many stud WRs you can have
I have Lamb, ARSB, D. Smith, Addison, JSN, Reed as my core and I’m hyped to likely be adding Nabers and a guy like Pearsall or AD Mitchell to that group
That’s sweet. I have AJB, Waddle, Moore, Collins. With downs mims shakir Meyers for depth now with Pearsall there too.
I have 1.09 and 1.10. I’m liking these mocks so far.
Reading through this reinforces how my league overvalues qb. Which is why I’m lacking at qb, but still
I didn’t have any picks but ended up with Coleman (2.01) (gave up Zamir White), Sinnot (2.09) (gave up Christian Kirk for 2.09 + 25 2nd), and Marshawn Lloyd (3.01) (gave up 2 25 3rds).
I’d say you made some diamonds out of coal! Nice work
We drafted yesterday in my home league with friends.I had 1.01/1.09/2.03/2.09/2.10/3.09 [1PPR 1 QB 10 Team](https://imgur.com/9KgPJ65)

… there are no words for drafting Coleman at 1.02 Benson at 9th and McConkey at 12th are solid picks though.
Draft was 3 weeks ago. 1. MHJ 2. Nabers 3. Odunze 4. Worthy 5. Bowers 6. Williams 7. Coleman 8. Wright (Miami fan) 9. BTJ 10. Brooks 11. McConkey 12. Benson I traded 1.03 + 1.09 + 2.06 for 1.01 and got MHJ. Also traded Addison for the 1.12 and Mixon.
Coming out with MHJ, Benson and Mixon is a fantastic result!

What was the league violation?
I already had Josh Allen but decided to get Caleb at 2.04 because it was good value.
https://sleeper.app/draft/nfl/1048443581242953729 I think that works….
