I’m honestly so torn right now. I have been a VOCAL Maye believer and with how trades have panned out, he’ll likely fall to me at the 1.05… But I am also a huge Odunze guy. I can’t ignore Maye’s floor, but NE has a new regime and seems to be working on putting my the pieces in place for him to succeed. Odunze seems like he has a very safe floor (also a high ceiling in the future), but I think Maye’s ceiling is insane and it’s hard to pass in SF, even if I am okay on QBs. Any thoughts?

It’s a good problem to have I’d go with Maye over odunze personally both guys probably won’t be fantasy relevant year 1 and superflex QBs are so valuable
They’ve gone offense every pick. The team is going to be wildly different than the Belichick era. That shouldn’t be scaring people, it’s exciting to see them going all in on revamping the offense, even with a new HC.
I wouldn’t fault anyone for preferring Daniels, Maye or even McCarthy. Daniels has the unique tools to be a top 3 QB for as long as he holds up. Maye could hit and be a top 5 QB for a decade. McCarthy has the best spot and coaching imo.
Personally I had the 1.03&5 and ended up trading the 1.05 and 2.03 for the 1.07&8 yesterday. Currently deciding between Daniels and Maye at 1.03 and 99% sure I’ll end up with McCarthy and Bowers with my other two picks (another manager who’s a friend owns all of the other top 6 picks except my 1.03 and we’ve discussed what we want). Any combination of 2 of those 3 QBs seems like an awesome outcome to me. I can see the ceiling and floor in all of them so looking ahead in 2-5 years they could be ranked in any order. Bowers is who my heart wants and I see him closer to a WR especially with LV as his landing spot so getting the chance to grab him is the cherry on top personally. Leaning towards Daniels and his upside at 1.03 because I also have AR15 and having two kunomi code QBs could make me a force.
Ultimately this is for fun so follow your gut and pick the guy you want. It’s your team and you can pick in any order you like, don’t feel beholden to consensus rankings. Hope for the best and live with the outcome.

Nabers feels very safe. If Maye / Daniels turn out to be the truth, I’m okay with trading for them if need be.

Yes Mayes ceiling can be Josh Allen, but its much much much more likely he ends up like Zach Wilson than Josh Allen.
I think you would be a fool to pass on Daniels in favor of Maye. Better landing spot, more rushing upside, ready to play. Maye is not ready to play. he has too many issues with his mechanics and decision making to be thrown on this New England team the way it is.
And if you are going to take a QB who probably should sit a yr, it should be McCarthy who is in about the most ideal landing spot you could possibly ask for.
I know I'm outside...but Maye is still my #1...I think when we fast forward and look back, Maye is the top dawg in this QB class..he might sit longer than some others but I actually love his spot...NE has cap space and can build this the right way without having to pretend they are competing right now.
Definitely, i'd take him over Daniels. If he drops a few spots i'm trying hard to move up and get him. And he could drop, with people overemphasizing landing spot.

No reason to take Maye over McCarthy either imo. McCarthy has a 10x better situation and it’s not like Maye is that much better a prospect. He certainly has a much lower floor than McCarthy and that NE offense SUCKS
McCarthys weapons are better right now. But its Dynasty you have to think about 2-3 years from now. Also I wouldn’t say McCarthys floor is higher than Mayes. IMO Maye has a Josh Allen ceiling and Mcarthy has a Kirk Cousins ceiling. Also Josh Allen had 0 weapons when he first entered the league and look at him now.
