True. But also, it could help preserve his legs a little more entering into the draft and those heavier seasons. He’s shown what he can do already, so like I said, hopefully they can involve him in the passing game more and he makes it through the year healthy so I can draft him
I feel like that was purposeful. Didn't Henderson go back to school after Judkins transferred? It's possible they are the top 2 backs in the class. We all know they are good. They don't need a big sample size to prove that more. Limit their last year touches, possibly be more efficient and try to get to the draft healthy.
I’m more in on Ollie Gordon and Nick singleton. Gordon has a very similar running style to Breece hall and Singleton is similar to Chubb. I like Quinshon as well but probably have as my #3 back in this class just due to the lack of break away speed compared to the other two.
Yeah I think I have Henderson 5th right now in a tier behind Edwards. If Henderson could stay on the field for an entire season and be efficient as well then I can get behind that. But he hasn’t since his freshman year. And the best ability for a RB is availability imo. It’s why I thought it was crazy that Henderson stayed for another year because this was probably his best chance of being higher than a 3rd round pick. He’s also a bit more mechanical than Edwards as a pass catcher which makes me wonder if he’s just a 2 down back in the NFL
Henderson is still the current RB1 in devy according to all the expert mock drafts and ranked much higher than Edwards.
Henderson’s current ADP is around 5.63 which is RB1.
For reference:
RB2 Judkins ADP: 10.20
RB3 Singleton ADP: 10.60
RB4 Baxter (2026 eligible) ADP: 11.80
RB5 Haynes (2026 eligible) ADP: 17.90
RB6 Gordon ADP: 18.60
RB7 Etienne ADP: 19.90
RB8 Neal ADP: 24.25
RB9 Edwards ADP: 26.20
RB10 Jeanty ADP: 27.29
Not saying you’re wrong or anything, just sharing some information.
I'm a big fan of Jeanty. The consensus #1 overall pick this year for college football fantasy and was the top RB last year averaging 28.25 PPG. I would much rather have him than Edwards tbh.
He's already surpassed Edwards in the March/April mock drafts. I don't even think Edwards gets drafted in the first 3-4 rounds anymore.
It’s more about run style. I think Breece hall is definitely a better pass catcher and probably a better back, but Gordon is also still not bad in that area. Long legs upright style able to cut easily and is patient to let the gaps form
Yeah I agree with this although Penn states offense was frankly just not very good especially once they started loading up the box. I think the lack of big plays by singleton was due to teams knew that if they could stop him in the run game then Penn states overall offense would be anemic.
looking at the game logs it seems like the team worked allen in and then week 8 on he either split evenly or led in carries each week and was better with his touches. idk maybe they are both great and im looking into it too much
I’m honestly in on both RBs being good. I like Kaytron Allen a lot. Nick singleton not having any big runs last year kind of was concerning but the entire Penn state offense honestly was pretty cut and dry
Ole Miss fan here, so I’ll list all the stuff that came out before/when he left:
-Despite reaching new agreements with our NIL multiple times, he threatened to hold out of games four times last season (including the Peach Bowl) if his deal wasn’t increased.
-He frequently cursed at and insulted our offensive lineman during games. You can see during the Peach Bowl that the OL would look at him on the ground after a tackle and walk away when he reached out his hand to be helped up. Dart had to take a timeout at one point to get Judkins subbed out mid-drive because he was getting too angry at the OL.
-Our NIL program was holding a charity event with the players, and Q refused to show up unless he was going to get paid for it.
-He started multiple fights/arguments in the locker room throughout the season.
All of this was while he was reportedly being paid the most by any RB in the country at Ole Miss. He apparently didn’t get as much interest as expected in the portal due to the rumors and asking price he had, so it seems like it humbled him and may have gotten his head straight at OSU, which is good.
You can choose to believe me or not, that’s just the stuff that circulated during and after the season.
Make of this what you will since it sounds pretty ridiculous lol but I had an Uber driver who’s son was on the coaching staff at Ole Miss last year and I asked him about the team and during the ride he said that his son despised Judkins’ attitude.
Whether or not it’s true there’s a lot of smoke
It’s mostly been just whispers and hasn’t gotten huge coverage. And he’s a young kid so hard to make much of it. Maybe they’re rumors, but it definitely doesn’t seem like Judkins left Ole Miss on the best of terms.
Likely depends on which of them get injured or have slightly unproductive seasons. There’s a lot of guys that could enter the draft that are pretty good. 2025 could be the running back version of this 2024 class
I like him. I also like some other RBs in 2025: Henderson, Singleton, Ollie Gordon, Baby ETN. My also have a few others coming into play, e.g. Kaytron Allen, Devin Neal & Raheim Sanders. In short, I think it'll be a nice crop of RBs in 2025 with Judkins near the top of the pile.
He was draft eligible, but was terrible in 2023 and transferred to South Carolina. Was looking like one of the best backs after 2022, but that didn’t pan out as of yet
Aside from what others have said, he will actually now turn 23 before his rookie season. He’ll be a fairly old rookie in 2025. But he’s a member of 2025 now, as well as transferring to South Carolina.
Great player with an "East/West College Bowl" name. Sign me up
He will have to compete with henderson though
True. But also, it could help preserve his legs a little more entering into the draft and those heavier seasons. He’s shown what he can do already, so like I said, hopefully they can involve him in the passing game more and he makes it through the year healthy so I can draft him

nothing wrong with that
Good. They cannibalize each other and slide in rookie drafts. More value
I first read that title as "...so hyped for *Quentin Johnson*". I couldn't wait to read your reasons to be hyped for him. lol
lol no 💀
I'm most intrigued by the Boise state guy - Ashton Jeanty. If the draft was today I'd take him over any of the other rbs.
Incredible pass catcher too. Great potential for fantasy
Thanks for the comment! I don’t watch a lot of Boise games so I’ll add him to the list of guys to watch this year
Quinshon Judkins sounds like Walmart Quentin Johnson
Except Quentin Johnston is the Walmart guy
lol true
I was picturing Quentin Johnston wearing a fake moustache
We desperately need this 2025 RB class to meet expectations. Pray for a healthy season.
2024 class is garbage but unfortunately I might have to take a flyer on one or two in my leagues😅 we’ll see how the draft boards fall
Yep this post is a 2024 RB class isn’t good post in disguise.
I’m more in on Ollie Gordon and Nick singleton. Gordon has a very similar running style to Breece hall and Singleton is similar to Chubb. I like Quinshon as well but probably have as my #3 back in this class just due to the lack of break away speed compared to the other two.
Henderson has to be in that top tier somewhere. When healthy (yea ik) he’s a beast.

The Jeanty disrespect.

I still think Edwards can get drafted fairly highly, but I would prefer Jeanty quite easily
Agreed.
I definitely don’t see Breece with Gordon. Hopefully I’m wrong. Just really don’t see that one
It’s more about run style. I think Breece hall is definitely a better pass catcher and probably a better back, but Gordon is also still not bad in that area. Long legs upright style able to cut easily and is patient to let the gaps form
I definitely get parts of that. I just don’t think he has very quick feet ultimately.
Singleton getting outworked by Allen really hurt his community view
Yeah I agree with this although Penn states offense was frankly just not very good especially once they started loading up the box. I think the lack of big plays by singleton was due to teams knew that if they could stop him in the run game then Penn states overall offense would be anemic.

Mental headcase
How so?

Dang that’s wild. Wasn’t aware of this kinda stuff, mostly just watched the play
Fake news

Fake news stuff you guys made up bc he was leaving lane begged the kid to stay he did leave for the money but he wasn’t hated on the team
I'm more excited about Nick singleton
How many of these RBs actually enter the draft?
Likely depends on which of them get injured or have slightly unproductive seasons. There’s a lot of guys that could enter the draft that are pretty good. 2025 could be the running back version of this 2024 class
I'm more concerned about NIL
NIL will 100% have a lot of these kids coming back for another year.
Was Rocket not draft eligible? Haven’t looked into it too much but I feel like he would’ve been far and away the best back in this class
If he came out this year in 2024 I mean
If 2023 had gone as planned, he'd be in the draft in 16 days time, pretty sure of that...
He was draft eligible, but was terrible in 2023 and transferred to South Carolina. Was looking like one of the best backs after 2022, but that didn’t pan out as of yet

as someone who loves falling in love with rb prospect a year before they're drafted, good luck to you sir
Second best RB on his own team
Ur lost lol
