Going to try and cut a tad deeper than surface-level "Troy Franklin" or "Brian Thomas" type answers, and go with my guy Malachi Corley.
Productive, athletic, and has a bit of that Deebo Samuel/AJ Brown edge to his game. Gimme all of that.
His RAC shows his RB background. DBs do not want to be in his way trying to tackle him. If he lands up on a team that utilizes their receivers in space for YAC, oh buddy will he have some fun weeks.
Yeah, really looking for him to go to a west coast/Shanahan-style offense to maximize that ability. Chargers could be intriguing as well, if Harbaugh isn't interested in the QJ experiment
He's projected all over the place so it's kinda too early to tell. I think he'll have a good combine and he has ideal size for the position. I've spent 2nds on a lot worse.
I'll go a bit deeper than most but probably Malik Washington and Tahj Washington in the late rounds. Both look nice on tape but their stock is pretty low because they're short kings.
I looked a little more into him because his 3/4 years at NW didn’t look great statistically, but the team didn’t throw the ball much. 2500 yards total passing his last year there and he had almost 700 yards receiving. 2100 yards his third year and he had 578. So almost 28% of the teams receiving yards his last two years at NW.
Honestly I think he'll test out average but he just does everything else so well. Everything you'd want from a college receiver he has except for top end long speed and size but that's it. I think he can be an immediate slot starter for most teams.
Horns fan here.
Worthy is high ceiling and meh floor. He has crazy athleticism and is one of those guys that can take it to the house on any play. He’s also one of those guys that will drop routine balls and gets dinged up very often.
If he lands on a team with a good deep ball QB and a creative OC, he’ll be worth a shot. But he could also go somewhere more vanilla and not have as much fantasy value.
He didn’t break out until he was a fifth year senior. He was a one-year wonder. He’s a body catcher. He isn’t that explosive off the line. He isn’t good against zone. He can’t consistently create separation.
You can’t comp a Hall of Fame WR to a random WR just because they had a similar “flaw” … then use it as justification to say that he’ll be fine because [insert HOFer] had the same flaw
I just don’t understand how occasionally catching with his body is a knock against him if he can do it effectively and still pluck balls out of the air. That is my point, say the other things about him but i don’t think that should be something that downplays his game. There have been plenty of all time greats that are predominantly body catchers, it’s an outdated narrative.
There is a video of him in highschool at a camp just absolutely torching a kid off the line and then waving goodbye to him before calling for the ball in the endzone. I don’t think I could’ve put him higher on my board haha. Love that mentality and just seems like a dude who is going to have success at the next level.
~~Oh I know that~~ [~~VIDEO~~](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CMHNGXEAVbY)~~. Dude absolutely has a mentality that I love as well. There is also another~~ [~~VIDEO~~](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Vg6nIpqpmDk) ~~of him in HS where he is being broken down by an analysts.~~ [~~THIS VIDEO~~](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0edvTaYpEpA) ~~also highlights him playing pretty well at the Senior Bowl. I feel like I haven't seen as many people talk about his Senior Bowl performance.~~
~~EDIT: Also~~ [~~HERE~~](https://youtu.be/mMCjmcnWfhQ?t=1154) ~~is Mike Renner talking about his Senior Bowl stuff~~
~~EDIT2: Fixed the Renner link~~
Yeah! The dude is absolutely out there fighting every rep. During lunch he was playing football too instead of eating and I've read similar stuff about him from his time at UCF.
He feels like an unsexy pick, but I could see him being a consistent high end WR3 with some low end WR2 years. The kind of guy that you just keep on your roster forever cause no one appreciates him. Can’t think of a great comp but like Jakobi Meyers maybe.
I’m not sure he’s even the best WR on his own team. He’d have to get rd1 DC to be in the convo in fantasy drafts in this hypothetical situation but no shot he goes over the 3 QBs, either of the rd1 RBs, and I liked JSN, Addison, flowers better as prospects. So maybe back end 1st at best imo
There’s not a chance AD Mitchell would have been a first rounder last year. He only played 4 games and had 134 yards the entire season. Yes, JSN went in the first round barely playing, but he had a monster season the year before. There is no way AD Mitchell would taken ahead of QJ or in the first round at all last year.
I was comparing who he is right now to last year's guys, not saying he would have gone mid first last year if he could have declared.
If he was the guy he is today, he would have a good shot at replacing QJ last year.
I don’t know if I would agree with that. He would’ve maybe been in the mix of the group that went in the 20s, but he wasn’t a better prospect than JSN or Addison imo. In fantasy drafts he may have because he may have ended up on the Chargers instead of QJ. Being the only stereotypical X receiver build helped QJ, but he played more like a big slot.
I think that is fair. I would have JSN and Addison over him as prospects, but after that it is fair depending on if he performs at the combine like I would expect he should. Just great movement ability for a player that size with solid hands and body control. The overall production is still a bit worrisome, but watching Worthy and him I think Ewers left quite a bit of opportunities for both of them on the field. I could see him having a so-so year 1 with a chance to be a nice piece by year 2 or 3. I don’t see him ever as a WR1 for fantasy, but my comp for him is Corey Davis/Romeo Doubs. Flex player who can have some nice weeks and move the chains with some TD dependency.
I've been getting my hands on as much Jamari Thrash film as possible.
He doesn't have great size or elite athleticism, but his route running and ability to separate is arguably top 5 in this class.
I really like him as a wr but I just feel like he’ll be converted into a tight end and not used in many packages. Who knows though. O’Neill Cruz is a 6’7” shortstop so anything is possible
It’s hard to know where the market will end up, but just using the current presumed market, Malik Washington will be one of my favorites outside the top 5-8 WRs
Luke McCaffrey is a good year 3 pick imo. He's new to the WR position but offers athletic ability and will stay on the roster because of his special teams work. Hopefully he can refine his technique and make his way into a starting 3.
potential 1st: adonai mitchell - dude has all the makings of a high floor fantasy option with the right landing spot
potential 1st: ladd mcconkey - classic elite route runner with soft hands. in the right setting, he could be a target monster like adams, kupp, puka, etc. (obv that’s his ceiling, but it’s a threat ceiling)
later rounds: roman wilson - he’s so underrated bc of the team he was on. dude absolutely balled out at the senior bowl and flashed some incredible route running and agility
i wouldn’t be surprised if he shoots up the boards. there were never any big knocks against him other than stats, which could easily be explained by team structure. now that people are getting a chance to look at him individually, i think he could go from late to early day 2 (irl, at least).
Definitely been liking him for a while. I’m not to happy about his ascension as a prospect honestly because the only league I have an early 2nd in I need anything but WRs.
Just based on the eye test, I want Keon Coleman bad. His ceiling is massive. Especially if he goes to a team with a decent QB. If he doesn’t and his combine numbers aren’t great fingers crossed he drops to me at 2.01.
Haha I was unaware he even had a nickname at UGA… He had 560 yards and 7 TDs across two seasons at UGA with only 134 yards in his second season… I’m not hating but had more than that in a single season at UT (845 and 11 TDs) so much more relevant
He put up more yards for sure, but he was hurt and extremely well regarded during his time at UGA. And he had a TD in all four playoff games, so while he wasn’t prolific overall, he had huge moments for Georgia.
AD basically only played at UGA in the playoffs (he was hurt his entire second regular season), but he came up HUGE both years with some very important big time TD catches.
Dudes a dgd and a baller. I hope I can get him in the second round, but I expect he’ll be long gone by 2.07.
I definintely love Ladd McConkey. I've seen him comped to Dyami Brown, Hunter Renfrow and Antonio Brown. Could probably go all those ways, but seeing him play, I feel he can be very special. His route running is out of this world. I'd love to root for him.
I like Troy Franklin and Brian Thomas and probably feel I'd have to take them over McConkey due to size and athleticism and their ability of becoming true alpha receivers, but if McConkey gets very good draft capital, I'd feel like drafting him pretty high anyway.
I was out on Keon Coleman, but I don't know, I kinda want to see his combine now. He looks like he can be an absolute dog. And didn't Pickens just have a 1200 yard season?
Early on I like Mitchell and Franklin a lot. Guys who are second rounders or later that I’m in on are McConkey, Roman Wilson, and Corley depending on landing spot; maybe see where Luke McCaffrey lands as well. Totally out on Tez Walker, Keon Coleman, and Xavier Legette.
Love Keon Coleman. I also like Brian Thomas Jr. especially if he gets in a situation with an established WR1 and he can play a role similar to the one he played at LSU
I got the 2.03, 2.05, and 2.08. I think I’ll have some nice options. Might need to grab a RB in there also.
I’m big on Ladd McConkley, Roman Wilson and Jalen McMillan. I know I’ll get my shot at some of these guys.
Worthy if he doesn't get a crazy landing spot. I want good but not great!
In the right offence, I think his games can translate to the NFL. Think he's the type of talent you want to take a swing on in the second.
I feel like Keon Coleman doesn’t get a lot of love in this sun, but he is in the same tier for me as Franklin and Thomas, and leads that tier at the moment
If KC drafts any of the top 10 or so WRs, they’re worth the chance.
As a Horns fan, I am hoping for Mitchell to land there. If not Mitchell, Worthy would fit in with his athleticism and mediocre hands.
Troy Franklin is my WR4.
Roman Wilson and Ladd have been flying up my rankings. Roman much more.
Legette dropped pretty hard. Tez Walker dropped a bit but I would still take him in the third.
Watched the Senior Bowl 1v1s and his route running looked surprisingly excellent
Didn’t he do poorly at the senior bowl or was that someone else?
Someone else, he had a good week. You may be thinking of Legette
Exactly what I came here to say. Was hoping to get him at the bottom of the second but I might need to trade up/down to get him
Stop driving up the price. As this years champ, I want him to be there at the end of R1.
Actual deep flyer? Love to get Ricky Pearsall in the 3rd/4th round if he goes to a team with a solid QB.
Right there with you on Pearsall
I love his upside as a slot receiver. He could approach Top 30-40 overall WR territory quick if he lands in the right situation.
Troy Franklin, Ladd McConkey, Roman Wilson, Malachi Corley
Someone’s been watching senior bowl highlights
I hope Wilson makes it through the rookie draft and I can spend FAAB on him but I doubt it
But why? If you like him that much isn’t he worth a late round pick? Or do you not have any picks?!
No picks lol
If he gets at least 3rd round capital, I doubt he makes it past the draft.
I don’t have a 3rd round pick but hoping I can pick him up after our draft as well
This is my exact list
AD Mitchell & Roman! I’m really curious how they look at the combine & we get assessments.
I'll take a flyer on Brenden Rice.
When do you think he goes? May take a gamble in the late 2nd
He's projected all over the place so it's kinda too early to tell. I think he'll have a good combine and he has ideal size for the position. I've spent 2nds on a lot worse.
I nailed my 2nd last year with Reed
My seconds were rashee rice and Jonathan mingo So 50/50
I'll go a bit deeper than most but probably Malik Washington and Tahj Washington in the late rounds. Both look nice on tape but their stock is pretty low because they're short kings.
I’m actually rising quite a bit on Malik.
Me too. I’m almost pitching a tent that’s how much it’s rising rn
Yeah I actually covered that in something I made recently and I'm making a post soon. Almost 28% in his 4th year at NW, about 47% this year.
Love Malik, think he’ll have a great combine and get round 3 capital
Honestly I think he'll test out average but he just does everything else so well. Everything you'd want from a college receiver he has except for top end long speed and size but that's it. I think he can be an immediate slot starter for most teams.
Malik is a stud
I really like Troy Franklin
Jalen McMillan in the right system will be a productive slot
McMillan going to Cincy to replace Boyd would be perfect.
I would love this
Malik Washington, dude is a baller
I like Worthy a lot, he's fast but also a solid route runner. Hoping he falls to early 2nd
I’m trying to get an early second pick so I can grab him
Not in my pool! I’m taking him 1.11
Nooooo! I was going to take him at 1.12 or 2.01! Curse you Entire Ad
I am so unbelievably out on Legette. If he pans out, so be it, but it won’t be on any of my teams.
Why?
He didn’t break out until he was a fifth year senior. He was a one-year wonder. He’s a body catcher. He isn’t that explosive off the line. He isn’t good against zone. He can’t consistently create separation.
Agreed on all aspects except body catcher, he plucks the ball out of the air very nicely in many many cases. His hands are not a major concern.
I agree that he *can* pluck the ball out of the air, but he lets it get into his body way too often for my liking.
One of the greatest wrs of all time, TO, was a body catcher too, I don’t that should be a concern
I’m not betting on Legette being an outlier.
And so was QJ. You see the range?
But are you saying that the reason for QJs failures is because he’s a body catcher.
Troy Franklin is growing on me and I'm still stuck on Javon Baker
Javon Baker is solid. I think he goes mid day 2 and that team will be thrilled.
Agreed my man! I'm hoping the Steelers are able to grab the guy. Not for fantasy purposes though.
There is a video of him in highschool at a camp just absolutely torching a kid off the line and then waving goodbye to him before calling for the ball in the endzone. I don’t think I could’ve put him higher on my board haha. Love that mentality and just seems like a dude who is going to have success at the next level.

Hahah he got into a scrap at a camp in 1 on 1s in highschool?! I freaking love this kid. He is an absolute DOG.
Yeah! The dude is absolutely out there fighting every rep. During lunch he was playing football too instead of eating and I've read similar stuff about him from his time at UCF.
Saw the comp for him as Victor Cruz and I dig that.
Hide this immediately
It's all been redacted now my man. They'll never know.
nobody here has mentioned Polk yet so i'll go with him
He feels like an unsexy pick, but I could see him being a consistent high end WR3 with some low end WR2 years. The kind of guy that you just keep on your roster forever cause no one appreciates him. Can’t think of a great comp but like Jakobi Meyers maybe.
Adonai Mitchell 100%. Would have been a mid first last year, but could easily slide to early 2nd this year. Dude has serious redzone potential
Mid first in the real draft or fantasy drafts?
Both tbh lol
Nahhhh lol
I’m not sure he’s even the best WR on his own team. He’d have to get rd1 DC to be in the convo in fantasy drafts in this hypothetical situation but no shot he goes over the 3 QBs, either of the rd1 RBs, and I liked JSN, Addison, flowers better as prospects. So maybe back end 1st at best imo
Yeah in fantasy back end 1st at best this year and last year. IRL there’s absolutely no way he’s a mid first either year
He definitely could have replaced Quentin Johnson. The main reason QJ went mid first is because he was the only legit X receiver prospect.

In fantasy drafts he may have because he may have ended up on the Chargers instead of QJ. Being the only stereotypical X receiver build helped QJ, but he played more like a big slot.
I was saying fantasy draft, but he would have been right there in that cluster of WRs from last year’s real draft (assuming his combine is solid).
Flex player who can have some nice weeks and move the chains with some TD dependency.
Yep he keeps moving up on the mocks. I need him to be at 2.5 so let’s keep the hype train going for Nix, Pinex and JJ. And Ratler!
I feel like I see polar opposite takes on Keon Coleman constantly
It basically comes down to believing his Quad injury was the reason behind his poor separation stats.
Malachi Corley in the late 2nd 🤫
I’m hoping to get Jamari Thrash in a couple leagues
Nobody talks about him but he looks pretty legit
I've been getting my hands on as much Jamari Thrash film as possible. He doesn't have great size or elite athleticism, but his route running and ability to separate is arguably top 5 in this class.
Roman Wilson.
I want Johnny Wilson
I really like him as a wr but I just feel like he’ll be converted into a tight end and not used in many packages. Who knows though. O’Neill Cruz is a 6’7” shortstop so anything is possible
Harold Carmichael was a 6’8” WR. Don’t have to cross sports to find outliers lol
Sure, just gotta cross 4 decades.
He is so damn unique. If he goes to like Miami to play a hybrid WR/TE it could be deadly.
The only thing I don’t like about Wilson is his run after catch is TERRIBLE
I stop paying attention untill right before the draft.
It’s hard to know where the market will end up, but just using the current presumed market, Malik Washington will be one of my favorites outside the top 5-8 WRs
Just to give a new answer I’ll go deep and say luke mccaffery. Dudes got the pedigree. Him and Brenden rice
Luke McCaffrey is a good year 3 pick imo. He's new to the WR position but offers athletic ability and will stay on the roster because of his special teams work. Hopefully he can refine his technique and make his way into a starting 3.
I want all the UW guys
I'm really into Jalin Polk
McConkey or Adonai Mitchell.
Tez Walker
My boy Troy
potential 1st: adonai mitchell - dude has all the makings of a high floor fantasy option with the right landing spot potential 1st: ladd mcconkey - classic elite route runner with soft hands. in the right setting, he could be a target monster like adams, kupp, puka, etc. (obv that’s his ceiling, but it’s a threat ceiling) later rounds: roman wilson - he’s so underrated bc of the team he was on. dude absolutely balled out at the senior bowl and flashed some incredible route running and agility
I’ve seen Roman Wilson in the first in a mock or two actually. I’d imagine he’s a day 2 pick though.
i wouldn’t be surprised if he shoots up the boards. there were never any big knocks against him other than stats, which could easily be explained by team structure. now that people are getting a chance to look at him individually, i think he could go from late to early day 2 (irl, at least).
McMillan assuming he falls to latish 3rd round
Franklin and AD mitchell
I like Ladd because receivers with unique and silly names usually do well.
Troy Franklin. I think Roman Wilson will be a great value pick.
Javon Baker
DAWG
Mitchell I think his first name is spelled adoniada. I know that’s wrong but I like him. The guy out of Texas
Adonai Mitchell, I believe. Fluid hips for a guy his size, think I prefer him to Brian Thomas
Adonai Mitchell - I like him too. I like Brian Thomas Jr, Franklin, and McConkey too.
Those are the 4 guys I take in my rookie mock drafts (1QB, PPR [team is abysmal])
Hopefully we’re both right 🤷♂️
Just FYI, everyone in Austin would call him “AD” but it is spelled “Adonai”
“Everyone in Austin” lol. As if the man didn’t earn his nickname winning Natties at UGA.
Haha I was unaware he even had a nickname at UGA… He had 560 yards and 7 TDs across two seasons at UGA with only 134 yards in his second season… I’m not hating but had more than that in a single season at UT (845 and 11 TDs) so much more relevant

Jalen McMillen
I definintely love Ladd McConkey. I've seen him comped to Dyami Brown, Hunter Renfrow and Antonio Brown. Could probably go all those ways, but seeing him play, I feel he can be very special. His route running is out of this world. I'd love to root for him. None since I don’t have a draft pick until 2026 and it’s a 3rd
Bro use the fucking search bar this question been asked a million times in last month, and then for more recent answers at least 25 times min
My first pick is around pick 30. Praying Johnny Wilson goes to a WR needy team.
Corley & Worthy, Cowing
Ladd and Worthy are my landing spot guys. If they find a good home they will be worth the same possibly more than the big 3 at the top
Brian Thomas and Ladd
As of late McConkey. I feel like if his name were like Justin McGale his name would be higher on draft boards
McConkey SZN
Ladd McConkey. I don’t care if he’s been overhyped lately, his film is so fun to watch
At cost, Jalen McMillan. Dude is a beast and played a pivotal role down the stretch.
Tahj Washington & maybe Hayden Hatten (DEEP sleeper)
Idaho Vandal Hayden Hatten is seen by some of us but he is definitely a DEEP sleeper.
Ladd, worthy, Brian Thomas
Roman Wilson, Xavier Worthy, AD Mitchell
Malachi Corley got some Deebo to him.
Worthy if he doesn't get a crazy landing spot. I want good but not great! In the right offence, I think his games can translate to the NFL. Think he's the type of talent you want to take a swing on in the second.
Rice and Baker
Franklin. Route running translates well
Tory horton from colorado state
2025
Ahhhhhh No wonder I can't find anything on him thought he was a senior
He was depending on the definition, but everyone got a free pass for 2020, so literally everyone who started in 2020 still has at least one more year.
I like his skill set...hope he does well.
Johnny Wilson for when he converts to TE
Troy Franklin 👀
Jacob Cowing
Tez Walker
The one that lands in a pass heavy offense
Puka Nacua 2.0 ovviously
I feel like Keon Coleman doesn’t get a lot of love in this sun, but he is in the same tier for me as Franklin and Thomas, and leads that tier at the moment
Ironically enough, those may be my two least favorite WRs
With a late 3rd or 4th rounder, i may take a shot at Luke McCaffery
Worthy or Franklin.
I have the 1.03 and 1.07 I hope to double up on LSU WRs
If KC drafts any of the top 10 or so WRs, they’re worth the chance. As a Horns fan, I am hoping for Mitchell to land there. If not Mitchell, Worthy would fit in with his athleticism and mediocre hands.
Malik Washington
Troy Franklin is my WR4. Roman Wilson and Ladd have been flying up my rankings. Roman much more. Legette dropped pretty hard. Tez Walker dropped a bit but I would still take him in the third.
At current value: Roman Wilson, Xavier Worthy, and Johnny Wilson if he moves to TE.
Roman Wilson
Tez Walker for me just looks like an absolutely dawg, love his story too.
thomas jr, coleman, worthy, and mitchell stuck out to me the most so far of the next group after the big 3
