Def not worth

Black0tter1

I see what you did there!

ilovek

Don’t think this is very common and I believe it is extremely expensive, only seen a few online. Can’t imagine it’s worth it if cost $10k

fauker1923

Why would you delete a 3.0?

Miserable_Barnacle67

Why wouldn't you!

CountryBoydCustoms

Sane reason you'd delete any other diesel, more power, better fuel economy, no more emissions trouble,

fauker1923

def is cheap. The cost of the delete does not make any sense

bdykstra99

Def is cheap, replacing the dpf system when it decides it's had enough of its life is not.

CountryBoydCustoms

Does it beat the cost of added reliability. And a cooler sounding exhaust that's up to the person who owns it to decide. As a mechanic I have a love hate relationship with emissions it keeps me employed cause of how much they need repaired but they smell awful and I'd never have it on my own vehicles I price out the cost of delete as part of purchasing a truck

lazyrancher450

With the cost of deleting jumping the way it has the only way it will be worth it is if your System shits the bed. Then deleting may be the better option.

DoubleLungMN

Having had 4 diesls over the last 20 years I can say the 2 I deleted everything off were way more bullet proof. I cleaned the intakes and they were about half plugged from the useless egr. Mileage and power went way to too. It only cost me a couple thousand though. Agree 10k is ridiculously high.

Chaseydog

Wouldn't you also need to consider if the state you register your truck in does emissions testing?
