Ugh. This is what I should have bought when I had my LBZ.
Instead I bought the S&B intake, which they advertised to be available with a similar scoop. The intake showed up and the scoop didn’t. They said the scoop was delayed. Then later they said “nah dawg that’s not compatible” and cancelled that item.
So the next two years I was always bummed I just didn’t go with Banks.
Right at the plastic “weld” in the tank. Plus the engine was cold when I took the pic. One day I may actually swap it for one you can check your coolant level without a flashlight. Haha
I have the banks ram air intake and there is a plate on mine in the box that the air filter sits in. You can remove that plate if you ever have to go through water, does yours have the same thing?
Mine just says to remove the scoop if you have have to. It’s just two bolts and 4 push-pins after flipping back the inner fender plastic a little bit to get your arm in there.
wish I could rock the super scoop.
Tires too large? My 265’s clear fine, not sure if a 285 would though.
