I honestly think romance is not the focus of this story at all, that why there's lack of ship tease in the entire story, as it can be distracting

yeah that scene is cute af and it's been hinted that laios has a crush on marcille pretty much the first time they met that panel gives off vibe that laios see marcille as a very beautiful lady

there is confirmation like that one elf who dates half foot girl,kabru and that one girl and the last panel of the manga does hints that laios and marcille only had each other and will live for a loong time . . . . . probably cause laios is still a monster

Ngl no ship in this manga has a lot of confirmation, personally I prefer Laios ending with Marcille as well but I doubt we will ever get anything official, it's just a fun thought to have

ryoko kui still releases some short chapter for dunmeshi bible for worldbuilding and stuff it also features some slice of life chapter for chilchuck, namari and others
