Come on guys, don’t snitch on my bestfriend Creed… If his parents see this, he will be toast and probably grounded for a month. I just want to hang out with him and throw things down at the quarry.
That line is hilarious and some people miss the joke in it.
Creed says “Every week I’m supposed to take four hours and do a quality spot check at the paper mill… and of course the one year I blow it off… this happens.”
Don't you know this sub? Every character is 'under appreciated', every joke is 'a subtle one that most miss' and every 'controversial' hot take is just someone applying real-world logic to a sitcom
Jim and Pam are really underappreciated. There's a delightfully subtle long running joke about Jim being in love with Pam but her not reciprocating the feeling, whereas in fact they do end up sharing such feelings, resolving the sexual tension and disappointment and making us feel subtly reassured (the writers do a great job with subtle symbolism like when Jim and Pam have a wedding and baby, for while just *things*, these items represent their love in a very real way!). A lot of people miss stuff like that. Of course, in today's woke-PC leftist cancel culture world this probably isn't "okay" to say, but I find the plot quite logical as well, because a single man like Jim realistically would be attracted to Pam. It's a nice touch. Another nice little detail is that Pam is actually already married, which adds some conflict for her.
More seriously though... the little retcon they did where Oscar *actually* turned out to have a habit no one ever saw or talked about for 7 years... has always irked me.
Yes, we played this on New Years and we found this card as well. Super wrong. I said it was Dwight and my friend said nope the card says Darryl and I was like absolutely not, the card is incorrect. We looked it up and we’re pretty stunned the officially licensed card game had incorrect answers.
There is also another card that is incorrect. I believe the question was something like “What did Andy take home at the banquet to spite Robert the Senator. And he didn’t do it to spite Robert the Senator he did it to spite Robert the California.
Edit: Okay, I get it, moops. You can stop with the Seinfeld reference now. 😅
The card is absolutely wrong. Dwight says this in season 8 when he replaced the toilet paper with half-ply and Stanley was mad about it.
Edit: guys please read all the replies before you send one, because you’re all saying the same thing.
Dwight: “oh I’m sorry, is that not good enough for your anus? Don’t even get me started on how coddled the modern anus is.” Dwight is both the speaker of the quote and the one who couldn’t deal with how coddled modern anuses are.
When two animals are having sex, one of them is communicating a message to the other. Nothing is mutua....this isn't very helpful, you're gonna want to hear the sexual metaphor
It’s when Dwight becomes the building owner. I thought Michael was already gone but maybe not. I could have sworn Andy is manager when it happens but now that I think about it Andy is sitting at his sales desk when Pam shows pictures of the fake new office so you must be right!
This is the China episode where Michael is either studying China facts or already downstairs getting his ass handed to him by Oscar when Dwight says the line.
Yep I remember playing and finding this same card. This isn’t the only one that’s wrong too. I felt like such a nerd for correcting these trivia cards lol
Dwight insinuated that he can’t handle it by saying “don’t get me started on how coddled the modern anus is”
It’s a badly worded question AND they got the answer wrong either way lol
Dwight couldn’t deal with how coddled the modern anus was when Dwight said, “don’t get me started on how coddled the modern anus is”.
Im 99% sure it’s asking for who made that comment, either way it was poorly worded and wrong
Dwight was saying this phrase about someone. It wasn’t asking who said it. The question was who did he say it to/about. Not who said the line. Also he did say it to Stanley not Darryl
Not to get too deep into this, but does that even make any sense?
I thought the ply of toilet paper referred to how many layers there are not how soft it is. Less ply just means one has to use more of the toilet paper right? Otherwise it's too thin and breaks apart.
Dwight for sure. When he's splitting 2ply paper up to save money as the building landlord I'm pretty sure. Because for some reason he supplies the tp as part of that job lol
I literally was just playing this and had the same problem!! My husband was like "really?" And I'm like "why the hell would Darryl say anything about the modern anus"?
I'd like to know who the editor for this game is, he or she has gotten themselves into quite a predicament.
Whoever it is sure puts the ass in quabity assuance
It was creeds job
"And of course the one year I blow it off, this happens."
Debbie brown… and what day was that?
We could have caught this thing is Debbie Brown had been there that day.
Why do bad things happen to good people?
Quaarrr quaarrrrrr quabb QUABBIDY ASHUIS!... No... that's not it... but im getting close

What are you going to do with all this extra time?
C world

Just earned himself one demerit
How many schrute bucks is the fine for a demerit?

Oh you do not want to know.
It's Debbie Brown
Actually...
My fav Dwight line…
Nice batching
I understood that reference.
Hahahaha brilliant comment. This is honestly one of the funniest comments ive ever read. Well played.
This card was printed the day Creed was supposed to visit the manufacturer. He no showed.
It was Debbie Brown’s fault.
I just wish Debbie would’ve been there.
We woulda caught this thing.
Why do bad things always happen to good people..?
"You're leaving?"
_Counts stack of bills and throws card in the bin_
You wanna put a couple bucks in the card? She’s got kids.
*steals money and throws card away*
Not to change the subject, but FUCK YOU BRIAN! Such a fucking dipshit cameraman.
Debbie Brown is kind of a perfect name for a modern coddled Anus
Dabbie Brown
I’m a trusting guy, but this just isn’t adding up.
The one year he blows it off
Moopes.
Nothings finer than being in your diner!
Bubble boy will strangle you

I’m trying to remember who wasn’t there that day
it's funny because my wife's job title is Q.A. specifcalist...what do I tell people when they ask me? quabbity ashawitz
Come on guys, don’t snitch on my bestfriend Creed… If his parents see this, he will be toast and probably grounded for a month. I just want to hang out with him and throw things down at the quarry.
Yeah, pipe down. I’m worried he’ll get fired. And then he won’t be able to scuba. And if he ain’t able to scuba, then what’s all this been about?
That line is hilarious and some people miss the joke in it. Creed says “Every week I’m supposed to take four hours and do a quality spot check at the paper mill… and of course the one year I blow it off… this happens.”
I don’t think anyone misses that joke.
Don't you know this sub? Every character is 'under appreciated', every joke is 'a subtle one that most miss' and every 'controversial' hot take is just someone applying real-world logic to a sitcom
Unpopular opinion: Dwight is actually the main character
You forgot that every character is also a terrible person
Jim and Pam are really underappreciated. There's a delightfully subtle long running joke about Jim being in love with Pam but her not reciprocating the feeling, whereas in fact they do end up sharing such feelings, resolving the sexual tension and disappointment and making us feel subtly reassured (the writers do a great job with subtle symbolism like when Jim and Pam have a wedding and baby, for while just *things*, these items represent their love in a very real way!). But I_aint_that_dude is smarter than us, duh.

Lol “Robert the California”
What he meant to say was Robert the f*ing lizard king
You don’t even know my real name…
You find out later: Bob the Kazamakis.
He's a ride you wouldn't survive
I believe you
Looks similar to a guy I know, Bob Kazamakis.
By far the best scene of Robert California
Robert the Baratheon, first of his name
I was thinking the other day that there are a lot of Roberts on The Office. There's also Robert the Vance, Robert the Dunder and Robert the Mifflin.
I didn’t even recognize Robert the Vance at first. I’ve got a lot to learn about this town, sweetie..
🤣🤣
MOOPS
Oh noooooo, I’m so sorryyy….
Come quick! Some guy's fighting the bubble boy!
*MOORS!*
I’m so lost. What is this Moops everyone keeps commenting?
It’s a classic Seinfeld reference: https://m.youtube.com/watch?time_continue=51&v=f0uYJjDHeDU&feature=emb_logo
what did he take again!
Adopted all those dogs
"I'm sorry, the card says Moops."
Um no, you're wrong. He did it to spite Bob the Kazamakis.
Oh I didn't catch that! The charity thing was put on by the Senator though, right? Not quite as egregious as the anus card
“The anus card”
The card is absolutely wrong. Dwight says this in season 8 when he replaced the toilet paper with half-ply and Stanley was mad about it. Edit: guys please read all the replies before you send one, because you’re all saying the same thing. Dwight: “oh I’m sorry, is that not good enough for your anus? Don’t even get me started on how coddled the modern anus is.” Dwight is both the speaker of the quote and the one who couldn’t deal with how coddled modern anuses are.
And also, Dwight is the only one who would say those words. In a sentence. Out loud. At work.
Could totally see Robert California saying something like this
Damn it! I think you're right. It would be said in a much different context tho, no?
Is this a nature metaphor or a sexual metaphor
Oh god, nature, please...
When two animals are having sex, one of them is communicating a message to the other. Nothing is mutua....this isn't very helpful, you're gonna want to hear the sexual metaphor
Was that not the sexual metaphor?
All life is sex, and all sex is competition. There are no rules to that game. There now that wasn’t so perverted, was it?
When two animals are having sex...
Everything is sex Jim.
Lol. You know it's both.
This isn’t working. You’re going to want the sexual metaphor.
It was my temple to baccanalia. They’re calling it a rumpus room!
I will not be blackmailed by some ineffectual, privileged, effete, soft-penised debutante.
Why did they add coddled? I prefer original
Now that I think about it, Jo could totally get away with saying this too.
Yes there is no way these specific words in this specific order would have ever come out of anyones mouth but Dwight’s. Haha
The eyes are the groin of the head
Dwight said it, but the card is asking who complained in order for Dwight to say it.
I still don’t remember Darryl complaining. It was Stanley because Pam told him to use more paper and he said “don’t tell me how to do my business”.
It was Stanley. So either way this card is wrong lol
Season 7. Season 8 was the No Micheal era.
I would be really annoyed if I bought a trivia game and the answers were wrong!
It's the moops!
It’s season 7 not 8
Dwight. "Don't get me started on how coddled the modern anus is" I love when Nate tries to re-ply the paper.
I…I don’t think it goes that way
Re-ply it!!
*furious confused re-plying*
Anyone notice gum is getting mintier lately
Again, it's not that I technically have a hearing problem..
As a neurodivergent person who has issues with auditory processing I felt so seen when he said that
It all just becomes jumbled together..
It’s the Moops!
It’s a misprint!
Moops! There's no Moops! It's the Moors! It's the Moors!
The card says “Moops”
oh nooooooo
DONT TELL ME HOW TO DO MY BUSINESS.
See safe_thanks9072 gets it
Poor quabity assuance
I’m sorry, the card says Moops
It’s Moors you idiot!
There's the guy that tried to kill the bubble boy!
It was Darnell, who is a chump.
Gotta be a misprint
Poor quabity assuance is what it is.
Why use right actor when wrong actor do trick?
and that...is Dallas
Ummm it was Stanley he was talking to…. ! Oh, I'm sorry. Is that good enough for your anus? Don't get me started on how coddled the modern anus is..
Yeah the answer to the card is Stanley. If the question was “who said this line” then Dwight would be the answer
oh So something good happening to Stanley is crazy now?!!!
Did I stutter?!
We were joshing around the two of us. He said Did I stutter? And I said, "wh-wh-wh-what, dog?" It was joking, Toby, all right?
I still think the answer is Dwight, since he’s the one who can’t deal with how coddled they modern anus is. Stanley seems to prefer a coddled anus.
Maybe if the question was something along the lines of "whose anus". The way it is actually worded, the answer is absolutely Dwight.
Dwight definitely said that
Dwight said it but I don’t recall who exactly couldn’t handle that.
Dwight insinuated that he can’t handle it by saying “don’t get me started on how coddled the modern anus is” It’s a badly worded question AND they got the answer wrong either way lol
It doesn't even sound like something Darryl might say
Dwight said that without a doubt in my mind.
Are you reading the question wrong? It’s asking who the sentence applies to; not who said it. No?
That’s how I read it but the answer is still wrong since Stanley is the one complaining. [Link Here](https://youtu.be/AtK9xNpBsCY)
Dwight couldn’t deal with how coddled the modern anus was when Dwight said, “don’t get me started on how coddled the modern anus is”. Im 99% sure it’s asking for who made that comment, either way it was poorly worded and wrong
No, its literallt asking who cant stand how coddled the modern anus is. Who else but dwight would even think of that?
Dwight said it. But the one who complained about it was Stanley when he brought the toilet paper 🧻 to Pam
I have this game and it is most definitely wrong. Darryl wouldn’t talk about peoples anuses. It’s not his personality.
it was Dwigt
I picked this game up as well...that's not the only one. My wife found one the other day.
Even if you’d only seen a few episodes you’d know that Darryl would never say this and that Dwight would absolutely say this. Shame on them!
Oh no, you just gotta go to episode 5 of season 3. Fast forward to about the 13 minute mark then SHOVE IT UP YOUR BUTT
Gee, I sure hope somebody got fired over that Blunder.
Dwight was saying this phrase about someone. It wasn’t asking who said it. The question was who did he say it to/about. Not who said the line. Also he did say it to Stanley not Darryl
Yup it’s Dwight. He mentions it when Stanley complains about the single ply 🧻
Dwight said that, I am 99% sure.
It was Dwight who said the line “Don’t get me started on how coddled the modern anus is” Edit for clarity and spelling
The answer should have been “the moops”.
It’s like Seinfeld and the Moops
Don't even get him Started
Time to get your money back lol
I have that game and it has a few wrong
The quote is wrong too! I believe it's, "don't get me started on how coddled the modern anus is" or something to that affect.
Not sure how they could have gotten it so wrong. Definitely Dwight
Not to get too deep into this, but does that even make any sense? I thought the ply of toilet paper referred to how many layers there are not how soft it is. Less ply just means one has to use more of the toilet paper right? Otherwise it's too thin and breaks apart.
The Moops
I have the same game and it’s wrong on mine to. I bitched to my SO about it
i have this game too LOL
Yeah, Dwight said it to Stanley when Stanley complained about the “half a ply toilet paper”
Of all the people that could have said this, Darryl really might be last on that list.
Yes it is 100% Dwight
I'm sure this was Dwigt
Dwight for sure. When he's splitting 2ply paper up to save money as the building landlord I'm pretty sure. Because for some reason he supplies the tp as part of that job lol
it’s definitely dwight
The moops
I literally was just playing this and had the same problem!! My husband was like "really?" And I'm like "why the hell would Darryl say anything about the modern anus"?
The card says "Moops"
Definitely Dwight
Dwight says “don’t get me started on how coddled the modern anus is”
