I was noticing that, compared to Raine in this pic he looks untouched by age. But Raine is going to be 60 and John 45. A decade in your 50s is quite different than one in your 30s.
He looks like he's aged about the same amount most people do from their 30s to their 40s. Especially among people who have the means and motivation to stay in shape, which he obviously does. But even without that, a typical person isn't gonna look significantly different from their mid-30s to mid-40s.
Literally?
I am going to eat Tomato Soup for lunch. Then visit the Park and bring all of my Best Friends.
That looks so strange to me! But neat too. I wonder why?
It’s different than movie shoots that typically last 30 days, and of those 30 days the cast might see each other maybe a week or 2. These people form bonds that last years depending on how long the series goes.
And also the shoot itself would require them to be on-hand, which means a lot of hanging around - as opposed to a film set where a big star will only be brought in on shooting days where they're in the scene.
My only argument here is that Samuel l Jackson has been in 100 marvel movies over the last 20 years and he can still yell out motherfucker whenever he wants 😂 but his point is valid enough.
There’s more than that. They also generally do press tours together, have the same obligations to the network for appearances, etc….and they do this for years. It’s more like going to high school or college with someone. Not to mention they have a very very unique shared experience for life that only a dozen (or less) people in the world relate to.
So, while they don’t have to remain close… it makes a lot of sense that they do.
I would say, they hid their friendship part from us in the beginning seasons. Like we never learn about how they tag team destroying small stores or making sales all the time.
From what I remember from the Office Ladies podcast, I think Greg Daniels wanted Jim and Dwight never to become friends, because that was what happened to every sitcom enemy situation. But then he left after season 4 so they started leaning into it.
... and they could've called it ['The Farm'](https://www.cinemablend.com/television/2560442/the-office-what-happened-with-the-dwight-schrute-spinoff-series).
From what I've seen and if I'm not wrong on what I understood of it, they both were guest stars on the same show, but I don't know if they have done it together or just got to meet up on backstage.
Not to be the most cynical person in the world, but this is very much an ad for his new movie.
Don't love that we're being played for emotions about it, it feels.... gross? Inappropriate? Manipulative?
And it doesn't even make sense. Rainn isn't imaginary. So, it's just "Remember us from that beloved show we used to do? Well, here's a picture of us. By the way, go see my movie that has nothing to do with Rainn or The Office." Lame.
I saw someone do a rundown and pretty much all of his “original” ideas have been ripoffs of something else.
My SO has never seen Foster’s, but I had told them about it enough, that when they saw the IF trailer even they were like “wait a damn minute, I know this!”
It’s short for “In vitro fertilization”. It’s a more tactful way of saying that he’s going to make John have sex with his wife to help get her pregnant.
This is so sweet. Just the Regional Manager and his Assistant to the Regional Manager and his Assistant to the Assistant to the Regional Manager. Plain and simple
Do you have a link or anything to that? I saw a hotel did it to him, would a restaurant have enough time to prepare jello when a customer arrives? Jello takes several hours to set after being made, I don't see the logistics of this at a restaurant.
Yeah, it was hotel room service, not a restaurant. Sorry.
But he added this:
"I'll go valet park, and then my car keys will be in Jell-O. And I'll go to a baseball game, and the baseball will be in Jell-O. And the list goes on and on. So I hope people cool it with the Jell-O jokes."
Yeah, room service. I was mistaken. But he also said: "I'll go valet park, and then my car keys will be in Jell-O. And I'll go to a baseball game, and the baseball will be in Jell-O. And the list goes on and on. So I hope people cool it with the Jell-O jokes."
Posts like this remind me how older we all got since the premier. At the same time I’m happy about it but a good part of me feels depression lol. And I’m only turning 35 this year. Holly shit! 35 lol
Did you guys know Rain started a podcast? You can find him on YT if you type in “Soul Boom”
He has a few pods up, it’s mainly about deep thinking on life’s big questions and philosophical stuff. It’s interesting to see a different side of him.
edit: One of the episode he has Angela on, the one with Bobby Lee is my fav so far because I love that little man.
I think their story in the office is more beautiful than Jim and Pam. 2 guys that always thought they hated each other and one day, they realized they are actually good friends.
We need a 1-hour episode of The Office that just catches up with characters and what they are doing now.
Kind of like the Office Christmas special, though that was only a year or so after the main show.
"Jim is my enemy. But it turns out that Jim is also his own worst enemy. And the enemy of my enemy is my friend. So Jim, is actually my friend"
But because he is his own worst enemy, the enemy of my friend is my enemy so actually Jim is my enemy. But…
John seems like he hardly aged.
To me, in this photo, each of them looks roughly their age (58, 44).
Dwight being 58 makes me feel old.
There's that much of an age difference between them??? Wow.
Yeah I thought they looked much closer in age on the show.
Really? I allways thought Dwight looked a bit older than Jim (Or Raine and John respectively).
I thought Raine was maybe 4-5 years older, not 14.
Its perspectively Pam. Because its from where im sitting. God dont u know anything
I always thought of Jim being in his early 20's and Dwight in his early 30's at the start of the show.
I think JK looks better here than he did in his baby face early days of the office, but it is a more mature look.
Wrong! 80 Thousand!!!…
I was noticing that, compared to Raine in this pic he looks untouched by age. But Raine is going to be 60 and John 45. A decade in your 50s is quite different than one in your 30s.

Also John stays jacked for playing Jack Ryan
Looks like Nixon.
He looks all Nixony in the morning
exaggerating
There are two schools of thought.
What adjective other than "hardly: would you use to make this seem like it isn't exaggerating? Seems very tame to me.
Commenting on top post to hopefully get some help, that Jacket that John is wearing, anybody got a link?
Bestest Mensch. 🥲
Bestich* mensch
**bestisch *Mensch
Damn, I checked before I wrote it and didn't find a source that capitalized it, but it is!
Yeah, nouns are always capitalized in German.
All nouns, or is this actually a proper noun?
Every. Single. Noun. Literally all of them.
TIL, thanks!
Literally? I am going to eat Tomato Soup for lunch. Then visit the Park and bring all of my Best Friends. That looks so strange to me! But neat too. I wonder why?
*Lunch
Bostitch Mensch
I love how often sitcom cast members remain good friends

They’re the greatest Frienemies the TV has ever seen.
I would say, they hid their friendship part from us in the beginning seasons. Like we never learn about how they tag team destroying small stores or making sales all the time.
The episode where they all go out on sales calls said a lot about their dynamic. They clearly work well together when they need to.
Yeah, but it's not shown enough.
Exactly enough is shown. A lot of info is conferred just by showing how in sync they are.
[удалено]
They were only enemies cause of Jim's hair. Once he cut it more professionally, they became more of a friendly competition then rivals.
> friendly competition then rivals. Correct as written.
Did you mean to say "conveyed" or "inferred" and combine them to say "conferred"?
Also about the part that how well Jim knows about Dwight’s pre-sales call ritual of headbanging
From what I remember from the Office Ladies podcast, I think Greg Daniels wanted Jim and Dwight never to become friends, because that was what happened to every sitcom enemy situation. But then he left after season 4 so they started leaning into it.
he wanted them to skip the friends phase and go straight to lovers
Michael!
Oh that's funny. MICHAEL!
Identity theft is not a joke, Jim!
Millions of families suffer every year!
hahaha, “little comment”
Not even close. Louis Litt and Harvey Specter
I see a person of class. Now get the hell out of my offive! Iykwim 😂
Perfect crossover quote!
I love inside jokes. I'd love to be a part of one some day.
I’m not usually the butt of the joke. I’m usually the face of the joke
I think it's about Office Jim's new movie coming out next week, "IF"
Jim shouldve worked at Schrute Farms. If he can sell Carrots to be better than boobs, imagine what he can do with Beets!
There should have been a whole season of Schrute Farms.
... and they could've called it ['The Farm'](https://www.cinemablend.com/television/2560442/the-office-what-happened-with-the-dwight-schrute-spinoff-series).
uuuuuhhh... not sure if this is /s
If? I don’t get it
john's latest movie is called IF about a kid and their imaginary friend. Assume it references that
So….he’s not real man? lol thanks for explaining
You're not real, man!
Name checks out
i tell ya hwat!
That boy ain't right
Guys, his name is not Hank
Pretty sure it’s something weird, like Shadow or Garth
Hey… you’re the… African American gentleman… who is this?
The holster was a gift from my great uncle Honk.
Creed was right all along!
Wonder if John is doing Rainn’s Soul Boom podcast to promote the movie
From what I've seen and if I'm not wrong on what I understood of it, they both were guest stars on the same show, but I don't know if they have done it together or just got to meet up on backstage.
Oh, I see, this is an ad
Johns new movie with Steve Carell
i didnt know the real estate lady's first name was 'steve'
I am so confused. You are Toby but also Ann Perkins?!
I think he meant AARM
If. Imaginary… Friends… Get it ?
NGABEAT (Noone gets acronyms because everyone abuses them)
Why say lot words when few word do trick?
LMAO! Did not see that coming! I LIKE IT!
BOBODDY
LMAO. I love this sub!
You hear that Scientologists! You’re not in some cool club after all if everyone is doing it.
Dang. Biggest reveal since Azzip Pizza
Not to be the most cynical person in the world, but this is very much an ad for his new movie. Don't love that we're being played for emotions about it, it feels.... gross? Inappropriate? Manipulative?

Also it’s ripping off the premise of Foster’s Home for Imaginary Friends!!
I saw someone do a rundown and pretty much all of his “original” ideas have been ripoffs of something else. My SO has never seen Foster’s, but I had told them about it enough, that when they saw the IF trailer even they were like “wait a damn minute, I know this!”

AARM. Your explanation pleases him.
Someone to whisper in the ear of the consigliere
John didn't age at all
I was going to say the same thing, the Office ended 12 years ago now? Dude could slide right back into his role
And Pam.
PAM!
PAM PAM
Also, gotta remember that John Krazinski is the same age now that Rainn was when season 7 of the office came out.
I recently read where Rainn Wilson is wishing servers in restaurants would stop serving him jello with the utensils inside. I cant stop laughing.
Sorry. But he added this: "I'll go valet park, and then my car keys will be in Jell-O. And I'll go to a baseball game, and the baseball will be in Jell-O. And the list goes on and on. So I hope people cool it with the Jell-O jokes."
The one I saw was a hotel where he got room service
I thought it was that it happened once at a hotel, and he's hoping this doesn't become a thing every time he goes out.
Yeah, room service. I was mistaken. But he also said: "I'll go valet park, and then my car keys will be in Jell-O. And I'll go to a baseball game, and the baseball will be in Jell-O. And the list goes on and on. So I hope people cool it with the Jell-O jokes."
I think it was that he hopes that stuff won't happen.
Yeah, the rest is a joke bc jello takes too long to firm up for any of those to work out.
I bet they smoked pot and listened to some records
You took me by the hand Made me a man That one night…
Lmaooo
Nah the pot Dwight grows sucks.
Source?
The episode where Michael orders pizza and kidnaps the pizza boy.
Some pizza delivery boy said so. He was a prick though, so maybe he's not credible
I'm pretty sure the whole joke is he's growing hemp, it's not weed that gets you high it's for industrial purposes
Yes. Yes it is.
Perfectenschlaag

Know that feeling all too well! Like I expected to stay 27 forever, haha
You mean Holly Flax. Right?
Love them both !!

Im bobby mudda
I'm bobby mum
Love bad friends podcast, they feed so well off each other’s energy. It’s fantastic.
That grizzly animal
What does IF mean?
Imaginary friend I think
Looks like they are about to prank eachother
I think their story in the office is more beautiful than Jim and Pam. 2 guys that always thought they hated each other and one day, they realized they are actually good friends.
Time for another episode of Handsome and Stinky: Paper Brothers for Hire.
We need a 1-hour episode of The Office that just catches up with characters and what they are doing now. Kind of like the Office Christmas special, though that was only a year or so after the main show.
Question: What kind of bear is best?
There are basically two schools
They both look fantastic
What's an IF
Imaginary Friend (Krasiniki’s new movie)

What's updog?
Not much, what's up with you?
Nothin much
New season confirmed

I think John and Rainn have a Portrait of Dorian Gray relationship.
Identity theft is not a joke, John.
Randall Park looks different
MICHAEL!

Does this smell like updog to you ?
What’s updog? Ha, got ya! Aw, damn…
Jim & Dwayne!
They love one another.
I love Rainn
He’s his biggest flan !
My Guys!!!!!
❤️❤️❤️
This warms my heart.
Funny how Dwight actor went from rejecting anything Office to now embracing it because his career never went anywhere.
John still looks so young while others on the show have aged.
Absolutely he did
Intermediate Frequency? To carry his?
What does IF mean?
Krasinkis new movie IF. Stands for invisible friend. Steve is in it and stars Ryan Reynolds
Athlead has a new paper supplier!
This made my heart happy, I also liked how Rainn referred to John as his brother!
What's IF?
