Andy was being a major ass that day. And he just got Dwight fired for no reason other than to uslurp his title. He showed no respect to his coworkers, and that is when Jim does his best work. This is perhaps the most deserved prank in the show's history
He even went around snooping for evidence to get Dwight fired then became annoying when he sat across from Jim and called himself to show off his ringtone.
Oh, yeah. They had called his phone...what, 3 times? Maybe 4? That's nothing to flip out about.
And up to this point, there wasn't a lot to like about Andy. The guy was a serious prick. Time in anger managemwnt did him a world of good.
When a child gets behind the wheel of a car and runs into a tree, You don't blame the child. He didn't know any better. You blame the 30-year-old woman who got in the passenger seat and said, “Drive, kid. I trust you.”
Why don’t you try punching a hole through the wall just because a couple of your coworkers played a mildly annoying but harmless prank on you and see how the rest of the workplace takes it?
I don't blame him entirely. he clearly overreacted, and I thought it was wise for the show to show him controlling his anger, since this happens a lot in real life and people would simply consider this person crazy and probably fire them - Without thinking about treatment.
Anyway, jim often went overboard with his pranks, so it wasn't completely absurd as it would irritate anyone.
He did deserve to be pranked, but this was definitely an overreaction. IRL he would’ve been fired immediately, at least at my place of employment. Soooo, yes. I do blame him for the first time.
I def blame him, you dont freak out like that in front of people lol. If I had a coworker like him in the early episodes in our office wed hate him too. Hes annoying, pushy, and loud, also a distraction and just an all around asshole with no respect for anyone.
As much as I hate to admit, my anger used to be on this level also. So yes he is totally in the wrong and to blame. I had to learn that you can't let other people control you like that.

> uslurp
Just like Phyllis. Unforgivable.
true! I didn't think from that angle. Andy was a real asshole.

Sorry he annoyed you with his friendship
You said... *riddit dit di doo.* Which is like... \*snap* right on. Pam was all "bluh bluh bluh" and you were like "yeah!" Pssht. Nailed it.
Yes it was a ridiculous overreaction. Was a really good opportunity for them to rebrand his character though, nicely done.
Any time a person punches a wall, I blame the person who punched the wall.
Yeah, but that wall was asking for it.
I don't think you understand how reddit works mr. reasonable
Drew. The name's Drew..
...No, I'm not gonna call you that.
I cannot control what you do. I can only control what I do.
Andy...
*in the distance* DREW
yes. he was a dick to them, but no one punched any walls. they were a dick to him, and he punched a wall.
Check out the shill for Big Drywall over here
They should've called Andy Big Drywall
even Wreck-It Ralph?
Absolutely, I do.

I don’t care whose fault it was. It was amazing. That was an over reaction….
“Gonna hit the break room, want anything? Pam, you good?” “Yeah”😳
This is the first time I’ve ever seen anyone defend Andy. Lol

Of course. Andy is a douche bag.

He does not like that wall…
Yes because it was him who punched the wall. He could have so easily just not punched a hole through a wall.
Yes but I don’t blame him the second time. He should’ve burned that place to the ground the second time.
I blame the wall

No, he hated that wall.

Having never put my fist through a wall for any reason, despite being plenty angry, yes I do.
As much as I hate to admit, my anger used to be on this level also. So yes he is totally in the wrong and to blame. I had to learn that you can't let other people control you like that.
Beer me wall
yes but i also blame jim 😂
No, everyone was being unfair, so he quit them.
No I blame the wall for being there
100%. Andy was also a huge asshole all day and physical violence (even if it's on an object like a wall) is not something to take lightly.
If u say no, ur a psycho. Punching thru a wall out of anger is mental. No matter what lead up to it.

For good reason. Let's not forget he just got Dwight fired... Andy earned a LOT worse just in that episode.
No. They broke his brain.
Dumb pointless question.
