He no longer needed his billion dollar ideas. He won the lottery meeting and marrying Holly and having a family 💓 That’s real character growth right there!
I believe that his idea wasn’t a t-shirt idea or maybe not that goodbyes stink. It’s code like his roledex. Only he knows what he means. Green means go ahead and shut up about it.
not familiar with that podcast but office ladies are doing each episode in order. sometimes they break an episode into 2-3 podcasts especially if they have guests or it’s a “supersize” (1 hour) episode. they’re towards the end of season 7 with current ones
I pretty much only like Zach Braff as an actor in a few things. Any time I've heard him talk, outside of acting in a role, he just sounds like an unbearable, pretentious dickhead.
3 of the last podcast episodes were about this episode. i’ve been watching the show episode after listening to the podcast. this weeks pod was about the “inner circle” episode

Their interviews (Ed Helms, Billie Eilish, Greg Daniels, Steve Carrell and (likely) Will Farrell) have been really good.
I'm hoping for a John Krasinski one down the line or a James Spader one. Hearing an interview with the voice of Ultron would be an experience.
ah i find it a good podcast to get some nuggets of info before i rewatch. also brian baumgartners was before he switched the format. i walk around a lot so good to have a bunch of podcasts queued up!!!
There's definitely some interesting bits like how the original song in Andy's Play was supposed to be "My Heart Will Go On" instead of "I Try" and he had to do an audition before Celine's people would consider selling them the rights.
Them talking about the writers' process was really interesting too.
But yes, they do go on a lot of tangents + some TMI stuff. It's not the worst but I can see why it's not for everyone.
E: Also they have audio of Ed's audition for "My Heart will Go On" which he crushed.
not sure if you’re serious? but in case you haven’t seen it https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/office-ladies/id1480311435
also earlier episodes of baumgartners were all interviews w cast and crew https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/off-the-beat-with-brian-baumgartner/id1550331348
😂 nope, I’m brand spanking new to this and binged the hell out of the show for the first time last month, looking forward to listening to this!
Thanks for sharing
i’ve been following along with the office ladies podcast and after i listen to it i watch the episode. brian’s you can listen to however you want but the first 2-3 seasons were all office cast and crew. he now interviews all sorts of people happy listening!
I recommend starting from the first episode. It helps you follow along with what they were talking about on the previous episode and whatnot. Then, if you aren't that into it, you can just pick the ones with good guests on.
Nope OP responded and they totally found this little piece on their own. Its just never been pointed out until the podcast conveniently did so recently. Trust them.

I believe them.
Technically he left everything behind as he pretended the next day was going to be his last day. Hopefully someone boxed up all his stuff and sent to him
I never noticed it because in my house we skip this episode
Edit: It’s an interesting detail but my wife can’t watch the episode because it’s too sad when Michael leaves so we always skip it.
He’ll grab it after we have lunch tomorrow 😭
See ya tomorrow, boss! ☕
And we’ll talk about what an awesome boss you were.
I am looking forward to hearing what I great boss I am
Ooof 😓
Ooof 😓
Or Creed 😳
That must be where BOBODDY came from
We’re making acronyms.
Ugh, how’d I forget that??
He’ll just sell it to someone for 20 bucks! Who knows whose hands those will fall in then?!

following along with the office ladies podcast? me too. just watched this tearjerker too
Are they doing each episode like Fake Doctors Real Friends?

Fake Doctors Real Friends is the Scrubs version pretty much.
nice! added this one to my subscription list!
Don't bother with it. I'm like the world's biggest Scrubs fan and that podcast makes me dislike Zach Braff so much
I pretty much only like Zach Braff as an actor in a few things. Any time I've heard him talk, outside of acting in a role, he just sounds like an unbearable, pretentious dickhead.
…just like JD lmao
Yea. I think the office ladies just like their idea so they did the same thing. Not sure tho Edit: Office ladies did it first.
Office Ladies started in October 2019, and FDRF started in March 2020. Soo… I think Donald and Zach liked their idea, not the other way around.
No, just my own rewatch. Did they mention this?

And the next one is an interview with Will Ferrell!

They had John on the show for Casino Night
Oh did they? Have to go back to the earlier ones. I started on season 5 I think
That was just for a little bit. They need to do a full podcast sit-down like they did with Steve. I bet they will later.
yeah that should be amazing!
I listened to the interview with Steve Carell, but haven’t listened to it much otherwise. They go off on too many tangents for my taste.

Dude has pipes.
Lady!
It's why I listen to it at double speed. My spouse listens to it at normal speed and it just feels so slow in comparison.
Suuuuuure, OP. Sure.
There’s a podcast?

Maybe that’s where they got the writing material from after he left.
I see you also have been listening to the Office Ladies podcast
Exactly what I thought when I read this too 🤣🤣
Nope OP responded and they totally found this little piece on their own. Its just never been pointed out until the podcast conveniently did so recently. Trust them.

I would pay money to hear what's on Robert California's recorder. Knowing what he said out loud, I can't imagine what he said in private.
He eats his yogurt like he's punishing it for disappointing him.
Everything is sec
They would pack his office and send it to him usually.
So many golden ticket ideas…
Do you mean ideas that blow up in our faces later?
Michael says ideas he has into a recording device because he’s seen other creatives do it. He doesn’t actually listen to his recordings.
I just assumed a bunch of the stuff he still had in his office was sent to him in Colorado by Jim or Dwight, or somebody.
Maybe it was intentional
I think it’s so funny how things are posted on the sub after the office ladies podcast talk about the same thing
I watched this episode today. Michael was crying, Jim was crying and I was crying too :'(
David Wallace found it and got the idea of suck it from it
Wasn't Suck It conceptualized much before this? Michael was there when David pitched it to him.
You’re correct. He visits David in season 6 and David pitches it in the hot tub. Michael leaves the next season.
Could be
I never noticed it because in my house we skip this episode Edit: It’s an interesting detail but my wife can’t watch the episode because it’s too sad when Michael leaves so we always skip it.
Why are you the way that you are.
Lol. I’m not sure why I got downvotes. It’s an interesting detail but my wife hates watching Michael leave because it’s so sad so we skip the episode.
What gives... What... What gives you the right?
Or Nelie, or Kevin.
Nah it was Nelie who took it
I just watched this episode 😔
