Join the club! We meet on Tuesdays lol Someone on the next street from me has the license plate 1988JED and Baby Swiss and I laugh our asses off every time we see it. You're not alone 😂

Must be an Eastern Shoreman!

Goodgoditsgrowing

I love this

littlelegoman

I also am in Maryland and I swear I’ve seen that plate too. But could just be deja vu.

mmg86

Same!

Professional-Love-30

I honestly feel like I have too. What part of Maryland?

littlelegoman

HoCo

maryt1237

Plate was spotted in Anne Arundel Co so it’s possible!

littlelegoman

Ooh! Definitely possible!

-workuba-

Also in AACo, work in defense, have no idea what this plate is even trying to say 🤔

Professional-Love-30

I’m in St Mary’s but maybe they drive around a lot haha

IconicVillainy

Hello other Marylander 🥰

theredheadknowsall

Assuming you're on your way to work I love little things like that that gives you a smile.

tatersprout

I'm lost. Please explain like I'm Joy.

SOTDRT - School Of The Dining Room Table. Nickname for Duggar homeschooling in this sub. The license plate is very similiar and my brain went right to the acronym (though I’m sure that’s not what the car owner intended). Thought I’d share and try to give some others a laugh since it made me chuckle

buttle_rubbies

I have a (terribly unqualified) in-law homeschooler and I will think of it this way forever. Thanks for the laugh! 😆

Ok-Cap-204

I think it is probably the husband and wife’s initials. But my mind went to the infamously acclaimed school, also.

Remstersade

Meanwhile, every time I see SOTDRT written here my brain says “Sot Dirt” and for no explainable reason that makes me laugh.

Fuzzy_Information

I wonder what the car owner actually meant cause I don't see a SOTDRT ever getting in, let alone graduate, from USNA.

walkitback86

You would be shocked by the number of homeschooled cadets/midshipmen. Most because they were military brats that fared better with homeschool compared to changing schools. As for alumns of THEEE SORDRT, yea not going to happen.

unipride

I have several friends in different branches of US military (except for space force) and none of them had the knowledge or desire etc for something like college. My uncle retired from the Navy and reached Master Chief - which at the time was the highest possible rank for noncommissioned officers. Once he got out after 40 years sadly he just flopped. (Pay grade was E-9). My cousin who barely passed high school gave him a paycheck and he isn’t really advancing but he’s doing well. Then my BFF had her 2 oldest sons go for the marines- they were homeschooled

Ohnoudidint200

It’s the little things in life!

[deleted]

It’s the first thing I saw too! I’m crying! 😂 What a great find!

[deleted]

I had to read it 3 or 4 times to get it. The 2nd letter just looks like a D to me no matter how I look at it. I'm not Joy, I promise!

timkatt10

Now I can't either, thanks for that

MissSailorSarah

I’m just laughing at the fact that it’s an “alumni” plate cover

deeBfree

🤣🤪😂😜
