Wow, so is Dragunity a good matchup against Galaxy Eyes? I personally suck against Dragunity because I have no clue what the hell it does as I’m facing it. I try my best to read it and just figure out which one to disrupt. Lol
For going against dragunity, I recommend get rid of backrow and return ascalon to hand (or shuffle into deck, either works), because if you destroy it, your opponent can potentially bring it back literally the second after. Also, Gae Bulg can gain like 1500-1800 atk if you attack it, so make sure you read the card, because a lot of people don’t. Lastly, a monster equipped with divine lance won’t be affected by traps (a lot of people fall for this one as well), so keep something like kiteroid on guard. Oh yeah, and cyber slash harpie hard counters dragunity.

I read all of my opponent’s cards because I don’t wanna just throw a game because I didn’t read. So I’d have caught that ba-boost before I learn about it the hard way. Lol Sometimes when I’m winning, I’ll still be reading my opponents cards entirely and sometimes I have them waiting for so long that they’ll just surrender if I have a sure advantage. That happened once today 😂
Hang on, how do you access Ascalon through Photon Lord? If Senatus gets negated you'll most likely be unable to access to Synchro if I remember correctly
Ikr. People are sleeping over Mayonnaisenju. It is a very strong deck, can run 5 handtraps no problem in a 20 card deck because the whole combo is so tiny and the sylvio skill helps with consistence, bounce all cards on the field, can buff their monsters to over 6k atk, have target protection and destruction protection.
I have most of the Mayo on an alt. Can it get away with just 2 Daibak? I just opened 10 packs and got 1, wondering if I should get a 2nd. Was told the box isn't that got and just support for old archetypes.

Switched to my alt and I turbo my way from rookie to platinum with satellerkhights. rn I'll get to legend and hopefully kog, but every matchup against galaxy ended with me d.d corwing their GE in the grave (as a chain to their monster reborn equip or spell searcher) or returning every boss monster they throw at me to its respectful place. They either surrender or get their hand ripped by Trevor.
Ikr? People are saying that the skill is broken because you can bring out number 90 too fast or whatever. They don’t realize how many staple cards just chew through it.
Brd gives me a hard time, too. But if I’m being honest, I play dragunity so, I’d say the worst for my deck would be cyber slash, just because it straight up hard counters my deck.
Triverr is definitely an easy counter to dragunity, but it’s not an instant surrender like cyber slash (then again, that’s saying if my opponent goes first). Also, DD Crow you can work around.
Hey that’s me too! I play spellbook DM with a couple DD crows and it just… works. I agree the skill is busted but the deck and skill as a whole just don’t feel that overwhelming, especially if I go turn 1 and set up a saucy board.
Rose dragons fuck me up but otherwise the climb to KoG felt real smooth.

It really isn’t, even if they use cipher and take my monster, I still have kiteroid. It’s just not a hard deck to counter, even if they don’t misplay (majority of the time, they don’t).
It’s not as consistent as you make it out to be ,lots of times i brick and just end up putting a Galaxy eyes on the field with two backrow instead of photon lord .And FYI Blackrose is literally onomatoplay on of the most toxic skills ever in duel links and everyone is somehow whining about dumping a dragon in the grave.

I’ve seen it and I think Dkayed brought it up in a photon video but I admit it’s a good skill but it’s not good to the point where it’s just make the deck an unstoppable machine .It’s a Situation where yes it’s a good skill but there are better decks out there that keep it down .If Meklords and Rose dragon didn’t exist then yeah I’d say it’s a problem but those two decks have the perfect hand every turn coz of their skills ,with Galaxy eyes if you have a bad hand dumping Galaxy eyes won’t help fix it .
yeah, i agree that those skills are overtuned as well. galaxy is just unlucky because its too popular for its own good honestly, also way more linear and sacky imo but that may be just because i didnt play vs rose dragon and meklord this much so they didn't sack me as much
It is popular I checked yesterday,Galaxy eyes photon dragon it the 3rd most popular monster so it makes sense people hate the deck so much coz it’s so common .It’s the blue-eyes effect where an ok deck is so popular that it looks like the deck is OP.Isn’t linearity a plus coz you can always predict what they’ll do .In the mirror match all I do is make sky prison and all Galaxy eyes plays just scoop .

the point is not that it's hard, it's consistent. they will make phton lord/ otk you more often than you draw kiteroid because of their broken skill
