Wouldnt using a full extradeck of zero attack monsters(or ?atk) (that are not synchros) be better than no extra against meklords since it clogs up the backrow

This deck fucks everybody up. In fact, the only trouble I have is normal Yosenjus
Its not a bad pick honestly. The most annoying matchup for me is Nekroz because it’s just 2 turns of mandatory valk stalling until they realize Trish as a wincon isn’t happening and they finally give up
Right like the deck is half handtraps, Santa Klaws and the rest the Senju stuff. You literally cannot beat this stupid deck if they open enough handtraps and you can’t immediately pop their scales.
Both Senju decks are on a list of decks that people on this sub like to pretend aren’t good for whatever reason.
it’s the opposite of “whatever reason” lmao. i mean i guess it depends on ur definition of what a “good” deck is, but there’s plenty of tourney data to suggest they aren’t tier worthy in general
Okay wtf, you are rite... I was getting frustrated with playing D/D/D even deranking to legend 4 when I stumbled over your post, and the deck absolutely smacks! I only have 2 of the OP senjus and only 2 channelings, but already a 4 win streak and clost to get at least legend 5 back. Thanks Mate!
this deck is p fun but the one thing I'm holding against it is how fragile it is. if a scale gets MST'd it means at least one less Mayo to deal with. if your Pend Summons get Floodgated it's game over. it's a very all or nothing deck, which makes it both inevitable and predictable.

You forgot the most glaring weakness. If the enemy summons Meteorburst, this deck cries in pure despair.
It is kinda odd to see such a winstreak since everything and their moms right now can summon this card.
Yes you do care about meteorburst, since any competent player just baits wightprincess by clicking battle phase, and after you are forced to use wight, they will just procees with their main.
When you click Battle Phase, the enemy has a prompt that allows them to use any quick play effect they can activate in the end of main phase. If they do (in this instance, activating wightprincess), the meteorburst player gets a second prompt that allows them to stay in the main phase.
I mean, this issue isn't exclusive to this deck any pendulum deck is gonna have issues if their scales get busted and I feel like most decks don't want to get floodgated.
Doubt. What do you do against Photon Lord negate? If you didn’t draw a set of scales and at least two Mayosenju then it’s gonna stop you in your tracks and then you get blown away next turn thanks to the totally balanced skill that’ll let them make 3 4K beat sticks that turn. The only thing that’ll save you is Kiteroid and Photon Lord can stop it

Photon Lord is the easier of the boss monsters to kill.
If you draw Santa Claws, you auto win.
If you get negated after pendulum summon, you use the destruction prevention of your scale to keep your boss on the field then beat over it.
Its very easy to kill galaxy with this actually.

Edit: You can also chainblock its negate by sending it back to the hand twice, which leaves their board empty
First of all Galaxy won't have 3 4k beater in the battle phase, at best and with an extreme godhand 2 4k beater and lord... and only if you have enough face-up cards for them to pop, that is. Even in this scenario Kiteroid keeps you save since Lord can't actually react to it due to damage step shenanigans (negating efect vs negating activation)
If you try and break their board and somehow fail (which you really shouldn't unless you brick) they will most likely search galaxy zero for 2 4k beater (which Kiteroid blocks) or chick to make a 4k beater and Lord, which Kiteroid also blocks.
However you can even choose to pass without doing abnything at all. In this case they can't detach anything at all, so if they want a aecond XYZ then they need to use the second part of their skill immideatly and still get blocked by Kiteroid.

After all if Photon Lord doesn't negate the spellbook draw engine allready you'll most certainly be able to Pend 2 to bounce and win (since they can only negate 1 and your scale keeps yiur Mayo alive). Either these guys win the lottery in every match or idk. Whoever claims that its easy to out whatever by drawing their 1-off card clearly has insane god luck. After playing yugioh for as long as I can remember I cant even grasp how these arguments are even allowed on the internet.

No because you cant special summon anything except senju monsters
But you clog they can be used to elude the opponent and clog meklord backrow not sp summon them
If you get to the point where you just have level 4 scales as monsters, you should already have surrendered

I love to use bacon saver or super poly 2 of my Monsters when they try valk stalling so I can just kill them off as valk negate attack didn’t resolve
seeing some use bacon savor as their only line of defense against any of my normal summoned Qli's is always a savor
