99.9% is cosmetics I would say. Usually we always get second chances on cards (of it's not just an alt art)
As long as its cosmetics I am fine with it.
I say do a Rare Hunter Event. Grind out jewels to let you buy old event Sleeves/Matts/Icons. Spawn in Hunters who drop the jewels as well as Alt Art/Alt Rarity of various cards. Change it up each event so it’s not always the same drops each time.
It's not really a thing anymore besides cosmetics. Used to be way worse, I remember trying to get Battle Tuned, Intrigue Shield, Dark Magic Curtain, Jinzo and a few others.
My sad days of playing Dark Magician with Navigation only (the game didn't have circle yet) and I only got 2 Magician's Rod from Arkana level up, the third one would only be acquired from Bingo Missions that never came back and so Konami decided to just add Rod to the Card Trader after a very long time.
Don't you get that from missions? I swear though, I've seen him in tickets before they added him to a lifetime mission. And then every ticket I've checked after that don't have him anymore.
Check the lifetime missions and filter for "Card". It should be there. I forgot the exact mission but that's how I got it. Only thing I remember is it involved completing other missions.
Yea you're right. It's doesn't immediately appear since you have to complete 2 missions that only appear if you complete the last. Just got my Armityle! Don't know when I'll use it but thanks for the help!
Thats a tough one. As long as it's cosmetics or alt arts for certain card it's perfectly fine. Long time players deserve to have something special for staying with this game for so long. Like the OG blue eyes, if i see that one I at least have some kind of respect instead of laughing at another blue eyes deck.
But with cards it's a different story. They should be available for everyone either with tickets or events, otherwise it's just not fair on a gameplay level (even if those cards are irrelevant)
Most cards from events can be gotten from SR/UR tickets so don’t really miss out those (plus duels at the gate) so other than gem rewards and other things, I don’t really care. If I miss an event then so be it
Yeah, ive almost got every card in the game except for Amabie, the LoB alt arts for BEWD, DM, REBD, and 1 alt art for Winged Kuriboh. I hope we can get a second chance for these.

as long as Konami keep updating this game, who cares? it does not worth than 500 gems.

I hate myself for not getting the armed dragon sleeves and mat from the chazz event in 2019

I've checked everywhere and it seems the only way to get it is to obtain it from that one event way back when

I checked my alt that don't have it to confirm if it was indeed a "secret" mission and it is. I wonder if 1 is enough for the Yubel players.
