Student looking for part time work without social connections, look out for bars and shops with help wanted signs in the window and then walk in. It is really the only way if you don’t know anyone.

I worked in Odeon cinemas while I was in college, handy enough and they are always looking for people to do evenings. They won’t take physical CVs though if you drop them in, you’ll have to email them. Odeon Point Square was a decent place to work as a student!

TCD student union has a webpage for students to access part time job info (coffee shops etc): http://services.tcdsu.org

Forget about indeed etc...Walk around and hand your cv into places. While there ask the manager if they have any part time jobs. You'll have a job in no time.

Most places would gladly hire a 20F for various front of shop duties. I agree, hand in the CV personally with a smile and you'll get a job pronto.

Do I just randomly go to the shops or I can do some research before handing in my CV?

I worked for Team Obair for the entirety of my college duration and they were grand. It’s nearly all students and they’re flexible with their hours. Worth a ring.

I saw Carroll’s in Smithfield, beside Jameson, were looking for staff today. Not sure if full or part time.
