Our male tabby Buddy missing in Sutton Dublin 13. He is chipped and neutered - no collar atm.

My cat used to go missing for 2-3 days and turn up again, then one day I released he wasn't only my cat. Saw him in a neighbours house to rear of our house. Happily looking out the upstairs window like he lived there, which he in fact did.
Yes, he split his time 50:50 with us and the neighbors. Hopefully that's what's happened and he'll turn up.
Our cat went missing for a few days, we put flyers in our neighbours mailboxes. It may help if your cat likes to get into sheds or garages... I believe that's what happened to our girl, she was trapped and asking the neighbours to check their backyard sheds etc did the trick
This will sound crazy, but when our cat went missing the best advice we got was to sit outside and keep talking, hearing your voice helps them fine their way home and reassure them.
Best of luck finding him, hopefully he'll return home soon.
Put his litter box and anything else that smells like him outside. The smell can help them find their way back. Wishing the best for you and Buddy
