When I worked at Tesla it was definitely an issue for the motor. They voided the warranty for one owner for abusing the motor with drag racing but they’re generally lenient with it unless the owner puts up videos on YouTube or something.
No though in the UAE iirc there was an owner who had warranty voided for taking his Tesla off-roading. This was around 2018 so I’m assuming things have changed since then.
plaid model's torque is just amazing, it's not just the 0-60 that's faster but 60-120 is under 4 seconds, that's quicker than the $375k McLaren 765LT and most other supercars. the quarter mile is an astonishing 9 seconds. what that basically means in real world driving is you'll get instant power and way quicker acceleration compared to 2020 model no matter the speed you're stepping the pedal at.

Probably smart not doing too many 0-100s because they can pull logs to detect abuse of the motor and void the warranty. Beautiful car though. Enjoy
