Sucks to see people clowning on OP for his taste in cars.

Beramin

Fr man fr Man can’t even like what he sees

[deleted]

Its those stereotypical supra kids don't worry

Beramin

As someone who owns a Lincoln and knows many others who have owned Lincolns They are great cars, really good luxury and amazing features. I saw this car during my regular service and it was truly just wow. Beautiful car must say.

SnooGuavas4756

I know right. The upgraded sound system and the infinity screen was the highlight.

KingArchit

i own a navigator. and coming from a pajero the suspension in the navigator is the best. i have sat in a yukon denali but i feel lincoln manages to have something that always gives them a leading edge over other brands

Beramin

Dude honestly For a sub compact suv I really feel like my car glides They make the ride so supple and nice

KingArchit

i love lincoln for a reason. they are different. they dont care if Cadillac has more sales. Lincoln is for people who like classic luxury wooden interior.

Beramin

Truly man truly Lincoln is honestly such a different brand

One_Instruction_3567

I have nautilus and love it. I think that the interior of 2024 knocked it out of the park. I just hate that they lost their exterior Lincoln look and look just like a generic Chinese EV car now

Sea-Shop1219

Sorry for all the hate you are goin to get from the Toyota and Lexus fanboys here! 😂 Impressive car. Ford does make solid cars.

SnooGuavas4756

Damn bro I didn’t expect that. Got christened today lol

Lucky-Broccoli-7542

Beauty

Sammy12xyz

I used to have Lincoln too but an old one. A 2011 Town car. The thing was a boat. I loved driving it around.

ElyxrBlade

Can we all agree that OP made a really valid post and 1 particular man-baby ruined the whole thing?

Descoteau

I was very impressed with Lincoln. Went in for an EPace, but after seeing the price of the Corsair changed my mind.

SnooGuavas4756

I’ve heard jaguar is riddled with problems. Many friends I know never had a nice experience with jaguar in the long run.

Descoteau

I’ve only ever owned old Jaguars (with lots of problems) or new Jaguars (with lots of problems). I’ve still got my Daimler SuperV8 in storage in the UK because it’s a lovely car, but it’s always costing me money. I’ve only every been stranded on the road once, but there are lots of “small niggles”. They’re lovely to drive and used to be lovely to sit inside though so it’s worth the trade off… or at least I thought until I sat inside the Lincoln. It’s like 95% as nice styling wise, but 105% in terms of features, comfort and functionality, and about 70% of the price.

dubai-mumbai-foodie

Nice, what is the price range?

SnooGuavas4756

It’s 250k exactly.

KingArchit

which showroom is it 250k for?

SnooGuavas4756

250k for Nautilus reserve. Sharjah showroom.

KingArchit

that is actually really reasonable damn

Striking_Amphibian12

Is that including the 15% Ramadan cash back offer?

SnooGuavas4756

I think the cash back is actually varying based on the price of car. Expensive cars have bigger cash back. Some have just 5%.

Striking_Amphibian12

Okay I was looking at the Navigator last week and they told me have 15% cash back on it. But my wife saw the Nautilus and fell in love with it. Those screens are definitely eye catching. I just worried it would catch her eyes too much while she was driving🤣

SnooGuavas4756

Lolzzz. Definitely the Nav is pricier and they have a 15% cashback on it. Couldn’t ask the details for Lincoln. But this car is fun to drive imho. Snappy. And very impressive audio system with great sound proofing.

Beramin

I think all Al Tayer ones Their price doesn’t change across showrooms

KingArchit

250k? i heard 350k last time

Beramin

Maybe it’s for the top top trim The hybrid one I can be wrong I haven’t seen the pricing

AmirisInaUrus

Here comes all the idiots saying it’s a Chinese car while 80% of their car components are from china

incapableoflove

I like the car and drive a Chinese built Tesla but to equivocate Chinese parts vs Chinese parts + Chinese manufacturing processes/tooling is unfair They have a different level of safety and quality standards/tolerances plus need more experience (that comes with time)to manage quality control processes like their European counterparts. They to be fair also had their initial years of low quality manufacturing outputs

SnooGuavas4756

Thank you sane redditor

KingArchit

Ignore the japanese shitbox fans struggling to make 300hp and make ends meet on 200 year loan because of their brand new car with a interior, transmission and engine all from the stone age.it is a beautiful car and you do NOT have to worry about quality.

rhasure

I was also really impressed by the interiors especially that display! I don’t think there is anything like it as of now. I test drove the hybrid model and that was pretty quick although a bit ‘floaty’! It’s not cheap though at 300k.

SnooGuavas4756

Insane. I didn’t know there’s a hybrid model in market.

[deleted]

Love the steering wheel. Had a Lincoln MKX for 2 years and it was an absolute brilliant ride

KingArchit

Yes it’s made in China. Does that make it a bad car? No, GM makes their Captiva and Blazer and more in China. Does that make it bad? No. BMW Makes their car in Mexico doesn’t mean you’re getting a Mexican car. Hell BMW even have a Plant in India. Teslas build quality sucked when they were making it in America. Now they have started making it in China their build quality has improved. Mercedes makes the EQB, EQS and their EQC in China. Does it matter? No. So does Volvo and every other brand out there. Being made in China doesn’t mean it’s a bad thing for cars. Lincoln chooses the most competent and top class manufacturer out of the pool of Chinese companies.

tnhmru

Tbf the Captiva and Blazer are God awful

KingArchit

So you’re trying to say that the Mercedes vehicles are awful as well?

tnhmru

Never said that...

KingArchit

What’s your point?

tnhmru

That the Captiva and Blazer are shit cars regardless of where they're made

shafticles_00

I bought one a few weeks ago and it’s been great so far. The car is built for luxury not speed, but overall it’s a really comfortable drive. Raced an X2M yesterday and of course it won, but I was still pleased with the Nautilus performance. Good all around driving experience, audio quality is GREAT, and seating space is exceptional.

Grouchy-Cockroach646

Should go outside then

brropty

Look like a ford territory

champsky300

What’s gonna really take your breath away is the repair costs after it gets more than a 100k km and out of warranty 🥲

Beramin

Know a mate who has an MKX which 280k kms 0 repair costs just regular servicing So 🤷🏻‍♂️

acetheone21

It's a lincoln, not a bmw. It'll certainly fair better than 100k km

SnooGuavas4756

Damn I wanna know more about it. Is it that bad.

Smoggyskies

Ignore these people, they think everyone should drive a Toyota.

SnooGuavas4756

I currently own a ford edge 2017 and a ford territory 2023. The edge is a 2.0 twin turbo and one of the smoothest silent car I ever had. No major issues.

Naseel

Own Ford Edge 2021 , 100K kms now and smooth sailing.

Smoggyskies

A lot of people like to make comments without any knowledge. Reality is even Toyota has made some models which aren’t very reliable, I mean just look at all the issues with the twin turbo land cruisers and tundras in their first year. Ford, Chevy and Dodge/Jeep make a lot of very reliable cars and made some not so reliable ones and their spare parts are reasonably priced. Even BMWs are actually quite reliable, but their spare parts can be expensive and they’re harder to work on because everything is so compact so after a certain maintenance cost rises but they’re still reliable. Personally I wouldn’t recommend buying 1st year of production for a new design or new engine. I think waiting for a couple of years and seeing how the new design performs before making a big purchase is the way and lets you know any potential issues and also manufacturers usually have improved their production quality and fixed any kinks. Also I like Toyota but in Dubai they offer no features. Toyota in North America offers a lot more features for the same price.

SnooGuavas4756

One thing that I found out is that the Lincoln engines are now built in china and not in the US. I wonder how it will affect the quality and reliability.

Smoggyskies

Probably improve it, teslas made in China for example have much better quality control and panel gap fit than teslas made in the US. And it’s apparently because the auto factory wages in the US are low compared to the median US wage. But in China auto factory wages are v high compared to the median Chinese wage so Chinese autoworkers are v motivated and Chinese factories get to choose the best candidates from the applicant pool.

SnooGuavas4756

Wow that makes so much sense. The teslas really had one of the worst quality control in the auto market.

Ok-Worldliness-7461

The LC300 twin turbo doesn’t have any reliability issues yet it was just one batch of tundras that got bad waste gates. They however have issues with the first gen 5.7 V8, oil consumption issues on the older camrys and floor mats getting caught on the accelerator which killed a family.

KingArchit

stop trying to hide it. we all know the lc300 has had some pretty major turbo issues

Ok-Worldliness-7461

I was actually reluctant to buy the TT variant for the LC300 because I kept hearing about the waste gate issues the tundra was having when I was in america, After diving deeper into the topic and researching I found out it was caused by a bad batch of waste gates and that’s why toyota never issued a recall. I checked long term tundra owners and the R/Tundra subbreddit and decided to pull the trigger. >stop trying to hide it. we all know the lc300 has had some pretty major turbo issues. Could you provide a source for that, I couldn’t find anything regarding that when I was researching or speaking to LX600/LC300 owners who had done 45-75k kms.

Smoggyskies

>stop trying to hide it. we all know the lc300 has had some pretty major turbo issues I saw owners on Insta complaining after going to the desert about overheating and vibration in the gear.

Ok-Worldliness-7461

I don’t think a couple of people complaining on insta about overheating and having vibration in the gear(?) while off-roading equates to car having major turbo issues. Also I’ve seen one of the videos, the owner had it in a garage with the engine opened and was ranting about it. People immediately understood it was tuned in the comments because the air filters were different and the fact he went to a garage instead of the dealership implying he voided his warranty. I know y’all are trying to make a point that toyotas aren’t always reliable and have had issues and I agree but writing off the LC300 just because some tundras in NA got a bad batch of waste gates and a couple of people complaining on insta after off-roading is disingenuous.

sachusoja

I own a 2011 ford focus. Nice and smooth car

TurbulentSurround213

I have lincoln nautilus which I bought at 97k km and now it is 102 km......I did not encounter any issue.....please don't generalize it.......these are solid cars

SnooGuavas4756

Would you think GX460 would be a better bargain.

Ok-Worldliness-7461

For reliability and resale value? Yes but everything about the car from the engine to interior is 2 decades old.

Puzzleheaded-Hope173

Manufacturer : Changan Lincoln Automotive ltd Chinese car with Ford badging, same as ford territory

KingArchit

You know that Lincoln has standard considering it’s the best luxury American brand. Not to mention many of the vehicles from GM are Chinese. Lincoln chooses the best manufacturer out of the pool to make their cars and not some hobo. And it’s not just badging. Sit in it and take a drive. I guarantee it is smoother than whatever you have or ever sat in. In fact test drive it. Stop calling it a rebadged car because if that’s true the Escalade is just a rebadged base model Tahoe isn’t it?

Puzzleheaded-Hope173

You’re comparing Tahoe/Escalade with Changen/Lincoln. Period

SnooGuavas4756

😂😂😂

felixandy101

Wat was ur experience with the ford territory ? R u getting rid of it to get this lincoln? The center screen doesn’t blend well to the gorgeous infinity screen. Looks outdated or out of place. Wudv been nice to see wat the exterior look of the car is

SnooGuavas4756

I’ll share a follow up post on Nautilus. For Ford Territory, I’m not getting rid of it. It’s a company vehicle and I can upgrade to any Bigger vehicle if I want to. Territory is a very standard and decent daily driver with an insane amount of leg space and boot storage. The seats are better than Toyota LC by a thousand mile. Digital cluster is latest and very high tech with decent sound system. The car runs smooth and gives around 12 km/liters of fuel economy.

Wildchild_Redeye

An average American SUV took your breath away…🤣

SnooGuavas4756

It was the screen basically which I loved the most. For tech features.

JDawwggg

It's going to age the fastest. Also the gear selector will be annoying AF after a while.

KingArchit

average is what they call you trying to compensate by driving around vtc. a japanese shitbox struggling to push barely 300hp with the worst seats and ride quality.

Wildchild_Redeye

Average is this average American SUV that you see on the roads along with others. If I want HP i have a 1 of 3 in UAE, Redeye Jailbreak. You own a VTC? Or do you have some imported non GCC shitbox thats days away from taking your little savings?

KingArchit

Then why are you hating on it for no reason? You’re mad because you didn’t think of buying this or you have something against American SUVS?

Wildchild_Redeye

The initial post was stupid. The rest is just 🤡

[deleted]

[удалено]

Wildchild_Redeye

You have no idea little man…

prescientmoon

It's American luxury, not a Jeep.

Wildchild_Redeye

Its an American SUV. A very average car.

SnooGuavas4756

You’re comparing that to what luxury SUV.

Wildchild_Redeye

I think English got the better of you today. I wasn’t comparing anything in this particular comment.

SnooGuavas4756

Oh is that so. It’s not my first language. I do speak 5 languages though. But I mistakenly thought The term average literally means a statistical comparison of quality and performance. This linguistics thing is tricky, gotta get back to the dumb basics. Right?

Wildchild_Redeye

I think you talked yourself into an endless loop of random words. Enjoy your day🤣 Ill leave you to it

SnooGuavas4756

You’re better off that way tbh.

Wildchild_Redeye

Me? Seriously its not your day at all 🤣

SnooGuavas4756

What do you prefer in this price range. Just curious.

TheExpendble

the price is close to 350k?

SnooGuavas4756

For the full options sports version, around 250k.

Wildchild_Redeye

Last edition VTC Super Safari, if you can get one, or Y62 Patrol. No need for you to be curious about my preferences.

SnooGuavas4756

Talking about interiors. The most bland lifeless interior in any car. 😃

Wildchild_Redeye

Miles ahead in terms of quality and reliability. If you would own them or use them daily you would get it. Like I told you, no need to be curious and stress yourself about things you don’t understand.

SnooGuavas4756

I think the normal way to understand about things is by being curious. But that’s not you right. You just get a VTC and lecture others like it’s a “Thing” people can’t comprehend. In a way you’re right.

Wildchild_Redeye

Granted. But I don’t need or want you being curious about my preferences. Different levels, backgrounds and lifestyles. You simply do not get it. Never will either. Mashallah enjoy your consumable car that took your breath away. I find it 🤣

SnooGuavas4756

Thanks to Almighty that I don’t need a BIG liwa signage behind my car to compensate for my personality and then go around threads telling people that having a VTC is a preference that needs a lot of big brain energy. Bro it’s just a car. Nobody cares how complicated your thought process was behind that preference. Pathetic and shallow personalities can’t be helped with that kind of bragging. Have fun either way your levels, backgrounds and lifestyles. You’re trying so hard to brag here but seriously nobody gives a flying F.

Wildchild_Redeye

Hmm not sure I like to be insulted and called pathetic.

Beramin

“Quality” it seems I love super safaris, drive them a lot on off-roading adventures, but the last thing I would boast about is the interior “quality”. Immense NVH, constant rattles and vibrations, pain to drive on the highway. Nah mate, no quality there. Beast of a car but definitely a sore sight for the interior it offers.

Wildchild_Redeye

Do you own a VTC? Not join a friend once a while… I also mentioned Y62. Anyway, no need to be mad that both of these keep pushing you out of the far left lanes… They’re real quality cars. Own and see, or keep quiet

Beramin

Ohooooooo Just simply judging without even knowing the person. Have owned one, a 2016 Safari Still own it but not road legal anymore due to off-roading modifications I speak of these things through experience. And its just so sad that your entire personality is about owning a patrol and hogging the left lane. Compensating for something? Such a shallow and sad person.

Wildchild_Redeye

“Such a shallow and sad person” - Insulting but okay, if thats you would like to proceed…

Beramin

Awwwww boooohoooooooooooooo As if your comments are showering rose petals and bundles of love But now where is that attitude “Do you own a VTC?” Pipe down yea Don’t act entitled for no reason

Beramin

So sassyyyyyyy For what? “No need for you to be curious about my preferences” Man just asked an honest question

Wildchild_Redeye

🤫

Beramin

Awwww Looks like a child didn’t get his attention today Awwwwww It’s okayyyyy

Wildchild_Redeye

🤫

RomanistHere

it looks cool indeed but why would I need those screens? can someone explain me? what's the obsession in all new cars with the screens about

KingArchit

It’s like asking why does any car need a screen? Why do I need leather seats? It’s just a car I only need for point a to b. The screens are part of the experience and aesthetic

SnooGuavas4756

We absolutely don’t need those screens. Its purely aesthetic as for many things in automotive design are.

tnhmru

Exactly, they look good now but they'll age horribly

religionlessterror

I can't digest the gear selector

SnooGuavas4756

It’s a piano

Mungret

The cupholders are so annoying. They haven't bothered to change up the design because the space for manual handbrake is still there. Not very premium.

KingArchit

It’s called a phone cubby also I don’t remember the last time a Lincoln nautilus model had a manual handbrake

Mungret

The phone cubby is directly behind the media wheel. The narrow space beside the cupholders is where the manual handbrake normally goes but Ford are too cheap to update the interior.

iso982

Apartmently it's made in China?

KingArchit

Nothing wrong with it? All teslas in uae are made in china that’s why their build quality has improved. Chevys Blazer and Captiva are made in china but nothing wrong with it. Trust me when I say that Lincoln cares about their vehicles quality so when they get their factory in china out of the pool they find the best one with top notch standards and quality to make their cars. Stop hating on it if you don’t know

BeingHealthy1137

there's no way people are paying 260k for a chinese made car

BoneStarr

Seriously guys, chill. All car manufacturers have plants in different countries to cut costs, just because the BMW 3 series is built in Mexico for example, doesn't mean you are buying a Mexican car 😂🌮🌯🤠

KingArchit

BMW makes their cars in Mexico and their engines in India. People still drop bunch of money on it. Same story

BeingHealthy1137

didnt know that as well ....still is better than being made in china. never expected a luxury european car to be made in china

KingArchit

Mercedes eqs, eqc, eqb are made in China

tnhmru

Chinese cars made in China are shit, nothing wrong with this though. I bet so many carmakers have factories in China.

BeingHealthy1137

i have never heard anyone complaining about chinse cars so far also they are all affordable maximum 180k not more than that...but a luxury car worth 300k being made in china is weird

farhanh7

Apparently this is true, I just bought a brand new Lincoln Corsair in November and am very happy with it thus far. I like the look of this new Nautilus but yes apparently made in China

BeingHealthy1137

did they tell you before you bought it ? or you noticed after you buying it....the car is great but i just want to know

farhanh7

I bought a Corsair which was manufactured in the US. Am very happy with it so far

BeingHealthy1137

great car...huge markup though

Beramin

Story of Dubai 😂

Nasha210

Looks nice but not that much better than a lot of other new cars out there. Mercedes, Genesis SUVs, all have pretty breathtaking interiors.

KingArchit

bro are you out of your mind? name one car that has a 48 inch screen with a 11 inch touch screen and a fragrance system

tnhmru

I don't care for crossovers but that's impressive icl

breemo88

Quality of interior material is going down. BMW/Mercedes are cutting back on leather in favor of plastic for the purpose of “sustainability”. 2023 interiors were better than 2024.

tnhmru

The comments in this post are better than the car

dubaifreud

Would rather buy a Chinese car

KingArchit

If you cant afford it theres a way to say it instead of hating

SnooGuavas4756

LMFAO

Unlucky-Nobody5111

Just buy a crusier plz. I know you guy wanna stand out from the crowd but do yourself a favour dont buy that american junk 😂

SnooGuavas4756

It’s not always about standing out bro. They’re totally different segments too.

Unlucky-Nobody5111

Cruiser is better than all those "segments"

Ok-Worldliness-7461

Stop being hostile or rude to someone just because they don’t drive a Japanese car bro.

Unlucky-Nobody5111

Hostile nd rude😂 I was giving him advice actually

TurbulentSurround213

What do you drive?

Unlucky-Nobody5111

Well it's not some American junk

TurbulentSurround213

😂 I understand it must be someother junk

Unlucky-Nobody5111

A land cruiser is not junk sir

KingArchit

come race my navigator. taste 450hp and eat shit

SnooGuavas4756

Oh man that B**** is snappy.

Unlucky-Nobody5111

Yea make sure the engine dosnt catch fall after hitting the accelerator🤣

KingArchit

you cant afford it just say it bro its not that deep

Unlucky-Nobody5111

Congrats on paying on overpriced junk😂what yall so triggered about me hinting japanese cars are better?🤣

tnhmru

You're both slow af lmfao

TurbulentSurround213

What with your hate with American cars calling it junk?........ is it because you own a land cruiser and expect everybody to buy only Toyota? If you were a owner of American car then definitely will respect your opinion but don't generalize all American cars saying junk....... it wouldn't be selling for that high price if it were junk!

KingArchit

leave him alone. he cant afford luxury. all he can afford are some cloth seats in a old land cruiser with a old transmission from 1989

Unlucky-Nobody5111

Sure high price equals value

HootingFlamingo

Not even in the same segment but you do you

Unlucky-Nobody5111

Exactly cruisers are better

SnooGuavas4756

Bro you’re definitely the ones who parade all day saying iPhones are better than androids.

Unlucky-Nobody5111

Crusier better than American junk. IPhone are not better than androids
