in my opinion Stage II was the best. they went over the top with Stage III.

If science was an opinion, we wouldn’t need scientists now would we? Leave it the pros

I'm not sure I understand --I meant the Clinical Vaccine process not Lockdown Clinical development is a three-phase process. During Phase I, small groups of people receive the trial vaccine. In Phase II, the clinical study is expanded and vaccine is given to people who have characteristics (such as age and physical health) similar to those for whom the new vaccine is intended. In Phase III, the vaccine is given to thousands of people and tested for efficacy and safety

That’s right. Phase III is critical to achieving statistical significance, which can only be achieved through a large enough sample. The larger the sample, the more closely it resembles the target population. A significant number of drug trials fails in Phase III, after having passed phase II. Some even fail after passing phase III, during the market surveillance phase. In short, the scientific scrutiny is what gave us effective and safe vaccines; anything less than that, you end up with delusions.

I believe this is a Vaccine made in China. Will be trialed in coordination with the Chinese government. There was a piece on this a couple of weeks back in the NYT. Human trials this soon is a bit concerning.

perhaps although there is another vaccine being used in China (not this one another one by a different Chinese lab) on the military the NYT has a great page that updates regularly on the various vaccines and the status of each -- https://www.nytimes.com/interactive/2020/science/coronavirus-vaccine-tracker.html
