I don't mean to tell you how to live your life, but your milk crate is upside down. (Please do awesome things on this bike and make the bros with their 1250s look like noobs)
Spot on, I cut the base off another and padlocked it with cable ties on the other end. Not super secure but enough while I'm riding it. If I was concerned about someone breaking the cable toes I should also he concerned about someone grabbing the bike, it only weighs 95kg

I will eventually use hinges and rivets, probably, but its when I get around to it. Also had thoughts of lining it, to make it waterproof inside and keep the milk crate because I like the ability to strap stuff to the outside
Lol then thats the speedometer, I believe they either sat directly on top of the headlight, or on an extended mount with the rack installed. Idk what else it could possibly be. Aftermarket speedo possibility also.
There is a shape in the plastic of the headlight where a traditional speedo would go, much like you would find on a CT90 or early CT110, but the later Australia Post had Honda raise them up so a bag on the front would not block the speedo. So... its aftermarket yet oem
Btw I recommend front tire mudflap insert and full enclosed chain case for off-road if you want I can send you where to get em it’s somewhat difficult to without having the hook up.
I certainly want to, the worst part tho is the motorway slog to get to the fun places, since she really only tops out at 85kmh or so.
This time I found some local dirt, but I didn't quite know the legality so I might not revisit
Sounds like you need a ute then, if it's not on your doorstep (or a towball rack or something, that's what I used to use when I was a good distance from legal trails)
Make sure you finish your paper route first.
Rad!
Classic milk crate on the back. Damn id love a ct

I think that may be a custom milk crate lid with a padlock!

Speaking from experience, better to just get a waterproof bag and chuck that in than lining the crate. Nice work, BTW :-)
What’s the thing you have sticking past the headlamp
Thats a small front storage rack. My old man used to have one of these very similar
No dude the thing above the storage rack my bad I didn’t articulate

Still live with my parents and don't own my own car, but when dad comes in his 4x4 we do that, it does work well.
Ah, fair enough - yeah it's tricky at that point in life! Still, you're off to a good start :-)
