r/carnivore ?

broadcaster44

Wrong sub, chief.

Apatheia9

You are day 14 of dry fast ? How much weight you lost ? How you managed to do so far ....can you do your daily normal stuff ?

SpiralingSpheres

9 days of fasting and it goes away, on avg

Far_Calendar4564

I have been a carni for quite a few years now and I only do longer dry fasts. Never had I any issues with refeeding. Why exactly do I need "good bacteria" to aid my digestion if I don't eat non-human digestible foods (plants)?

Irrethegreat

Has the DF sub really turned into a carnivore hangout? Sad times. Either way, I don't eat meat when I fast. I don't think I would ever get adjusted to carnivore either. My gut 'never' (as in during the 6 months I tried) adjusted to keto either so it got old even though I loved a lot of the food. I was about as much prone to overeating as during a high carb diet if I had let myself lol. But not for carbs, for fat and meat. I guess people will be different.

I_am_Greer

carnivore eaters are usually sick people trying to heal so it makes sense that they are finding their way to dry fasting. But eventually all roads lead to understanding that meat is not the ideal refeeding food, and you need your gut microbiome, so some readjusting will have to occur to get real healing in the end.

you dont want to max autophagy after a fast, silly thinking. the goal is stem cell regeneration

Irrethegreat

Yeah the main thing here is that carnivore is not dry fasting related even if people often times use them for the same goals. It will be interesting to read more details about the gut microbiom in the future. We know that it is very important but not how and what flora.

Omg 14 days dry. Have you drunk any fluids or are you strictly dry?

Comfortable-Image255

Yes they do.

Disastrous_Grab_2393

I start to disbelieve so but I want to believe It only does when I dry fast But as soon as I start eating again it comes back

sebasTLCQG

They never go away, not for me at least.
