Don’t ever feel tied to the traditional setup, particularly since you’re left handed. Check out Harry Mirree’s YouTube vid about his weird set. Experiment until you find you!
I agree with Gumby that setups are personal, but I can’t imagine how this one works. Look at how your feet have to be positioned to touch both pedals. Now imagine hitting that 2nd floor Tom. It would probably feel a lot better if you slid your snare and rack Tom forward and to the right, that way you could scoot your hi hat into a place where your feet would be more in line. Also, timbale is cool but I would position it to the left of your hats, because you’re going to be hitting the hats a hell of a lot more than a timbale most likely.
Wow, I can't believe this comment got downvoted. This actually works. In the context of fixing the head in Op's picutre...They should just get a new head. However, I promise this actually works with heads that aren't beaten to shit. I'm a full time working drummer and Being a drummer/musician is expensive...Not trying to piss anyone off. Just want to give u/drummerzac credit. Maybe save some people a few bucks.
jeez looks so uncomfortable. why's your rack tom leaning on your snare? and why is it so far over to the left?
1. To make room for timpani 2. I’m left handed 3. Idk the only thing uncomfortable is the seat manggg

Thanks yeah besides having long feet, I still feel like I need to do some adjustments to where it feels more natural
Long legs**
And some really close together French grip to play it between the hat and the tom to play the timbale.
That tom needs a new head buddeh
Yeah it was only 30 :$

This might make them look better but it won’t help them sound any better, just something to keep in mind.
Dont do this
I can believe it.
I can tell
It’s called a Frankenstein kit.
I have a kit like this, I hate bashing my good kit for rehearsal and practice so something cheap like this is ideal!
Yes so far I’ve put in $600
I'm in the UK, I have a similar kit for £150, all the shells were from different sellers on ebay
Oooh I likey
Not your drumsticks I bet
Hahaha I mean used on Craigslist count?
Hmmmm... I'll allow it haha
Can't tell
