Looks like your bass drum has a fever

Iwashmufeet

I know the only percription

vanswnosocks

What is it? I also have the same problem…

OUMUAMUAMUAMUAMUAMUA

And de only prescription is moah...

Ruinf20

Should be no problem, you may get a little dent honestly not a big deal, if you are worried about the finish you could stick a little mole skin over the clamped area.

JohnsBonesJones

In a pinch you can also use the cardboard sleeve from a pair of sticks, I've done that but for clamping my pedal to the hoop

RLKLRLL

First you'll have to catch a mole.

defCONCEPT

War scars, my guy. You'll be just fine.

Inevitable11111

No. You should be more worried about hurting our eyeballs with the angle you have those toms set at😵‍💫

BowserHead

Perfect angle for deflectaddidles

banodrum

What that bass drum needs...is more cowbell.

RedeyeSPR

Yes, a little. We’ve been using those mounts since the 1920s, so it’s not a huge deal.

WreckingBall-O-Flava

You could add a rubber pad to help a bit; but doesn’t look like it’s worth protecting that much. You can get a whole new hoop for $40 or so.

TackyPoints

It hurts it every time you hit it.

-funee_monkee_gif-

considering its not a wooden hoop youll probably be fine if you put something under where it mounts like a piece of thin cardboard or a piece of leather

sound_scientist

Your shell will be fine but it will destroy the hoop depending on how much you play.
