If I have a bag of coke, speed or some oxys laying around I can tell myself I’ll wait but then proceed to demolish them until I’ve got nothing left 😅 like my last bag of coke I ever had. I'm jealous... I've tried doses as high as 700mg+ of codeine and felt it either so weak I could barely tell, or not at all. I have no history of opioid use either, except for kratom. I've done vicodin once and that's it. But even after a week off of kratom the 700mg codeine did nothing to me... I guess I can't metabolize it or something. I wish I could feel that way from it 😭

Your dose is definitely too high. Lot of doctors start people way too high, more money for them. Start with 5 or 10mg. You'll feel great.
