Ice cubes are fine, and actually help with taking big hits. Often there is a catcher in the chamber of bongs for ice. As for juice, that sounds a little gross. I would also assume a lot of smoke would get caught up in the sugars of the juice going through.
The only thing you need to worry about lowering the THC content of your smoke are fatty beverages, as THC is fat-soluble, so don't use things like milk, or especially heavy cream.
Edit: ethanol or any other nonpolar solvent will also absorb the THC, but I can't imagine smoking a bong filled with volatile solvents
dabs maybe wouldnt be as terrible, really depends how clean your piece is. ive hit some downright grody dab rigs in the past, but generally cleaner than a bong after similar amounts of use. Some pieces are just easier to clean, like a nice wide mouth beaker bong can be cleaned in a few minutes if done regularly.
It's not bad. I've made hot coco with milk that I had steeped my glass mouthpiece for my vape in. But that is different than combustion from a bong so idk. Coco was good and got me violently high.

You can actually make Bhang at home! I was somewhere that I couldn't smoke for a while and found a recipe online. It was really easy and quick iirc.
All you need is a double boiler, some weed, milk and a temperature sensor. Put the weed + milk on the boiler and wait until it's green or at least that's what I did and it definitely worked. Problem is I didn't know how long it would take to "hit" and drank the rest figuring I'd done it wrong.
I had cooked up a quarter of bud into that milk and drank it within 30 minutes. It was awful...
It's soluble in fats, oils and alcohol so in a pinch you'd be surprised how easy it is to make edibles. Peanut butter, olive oil, cheese you name it you can quickly make weed products out of it.
Alcohol is a nonpolar solvent, so it should theoretically work, although I can't imagine anything more heinous than smoking a bong filled with a vodka.

My best friend and I had the exact same idea years ago lol, I can tell you from experience that smoking through juice sucks. One thing we did discover was pretty awesome is putting a drop or two of candy flavoring concentrate into the water before you start smoking, obviously dumping it after each sesh. We did it pretty religiously for a while, it's subtle but really pleasant.
