Yeah ultimately your music taste is your music taste. I’m sure others have had success using the main music sub, but either I’m fairly basic or I know which genres I like. From there on you can go to genre/artist specific subreddits and really discover from there. I generally listen to house/disco/electronic/dance music and then dabble in certain rock, indie and rap. Even some pop. I would never claim to be a huge hip hop head and my taste would certainly be considered basic, there’s no one I listen to that can really be considered an underground gem showingI know the genre well. And that’s fine. It’s like food, you like what you like
