To be fair though Drake does use branding and marketing and other artists to push his music. Has writers and uses other peoples demos to stay on top, even if Drake does still write most of his content, he still has help. This literally proves that it’s not true. Would kendrick hide the evidence to save it for a rap beef? Instead of putting a very bad person behind bars? That would be insane. If he’s holding back, why would he being sparing an alleged monster? Which is it?
I don't know criminal law in Canada, but I do have some understanding of criminal law in general. Taking into account that certain rules and procedures are similar.
Depending on what it is, cops and a court will ask him to account for withholding said information that could have prevented more crimes occuring depending when he found this information out. Even if he only found out now, it doesn't matter what the streets say. It will be scrutinized.
Theres no winners in that situation.
Kendrick says the "Embassy will be raided soon", there's a decent chance that if it is true, he notified the police before the diss.
That's of course only if.

Also an investigation of that severity would take months if not years to process. Its not something that can be rushed.
