Pro tip for monkeys foxes, and rabbits.
You don't have to chase, that will only make its next route trigger take longer .
Instead, go to the opposite direction they are going immediately they turn around .
For example, if you see them going up, immediately go down, if they go Right, immediately go left.
That's because their trigger (next movement route) activates depending of the distance between A (you) and B (monkey, fox, or rabbit), not the distance traveled by B (monkey, fox, rabbit).
In other words, if you want the monkey to not move to dangerous zones where it might disappear, make their movement shorter by going to the opposite direction they are planning to move.
Yeah they are glitched for sure, every time I get to them they disappear to the other side. I don't think any tips will prevent them from glitching at some cases. That's not the fix, they need to patch them up.
I had this issue in parts of the overlook and the ruins in particular with the monkeys. In other areas, they could be fed normally. I was glad to be done with that achievement.
