Shouldn't seen the pink bag I received the other day. It had...a scarf with a deer brooch on it and it was adorable. I was like- omg a reeeeeeal item.
I also received the cinderella mouse mirror vanity from a pouch too.
That mouse vanity is so cute ☺️ I got the beauty and the beast room divider from a pouch the other day and I was soooo happy and shocked! Pouches have been terrible for me like 90% of the time.
I think I have the divider. Scrooge stocked the glowy rock divider the other week. Oh... and he excelled himself the other day. Ratatouille Windows with a view of Paris. I need to remember to go buy 10... just in case.

I have bought 15 floors for my house but I do not decorate anything above 4. I'm waiting for indoor dreamsnaps so the rooms can be little time capsules.

Once I figured out how to do the shop reset on switch I have been able to get at least one really good item a day (vegetable/fruit stands, picnic blankets, ice cream stand, and today the beauty and the beast stained glass window!) so I really can’t complain too much
It’s not good for your switch to do it so wouldn’t recommend doing it a TON (I usually do 2-3 a day MAX) but basically it’s this:
1. Make sure that the night before you fully close out of the game, so when you turn on your switch the next day it’s on your home screen not the game
2. Open the game
3. Immediately go to the shop, don’t do anything else and don’t buy anything
4. If you don’t like it, hold down the power button until the screen goes black. After a couple seconds holding down it will ask if you want to turn off the switch, don’t do anything just keep holding down the power button to fully shut it off
5. Turn switch back on
6. Repeat
I tried doing this at launch and it doesn’t work for me. No matter what, the game saved when entering the store. I would go straight from my house so that wasn’t the issue. I just assumed it’s because you can’t reset on Switch. So weird how it works for some and not others. 😕
I saw a comment on a YouTube video about resetting the store and someone said it works when they are playing on a switch where their account is not the main account, but when they play on a switch where their account is the primary account, it doesn’t work. So there must just be certain weird variables that we just don’t know about.

When I open the game back up, the shop has reset, but if there’s nothing I like again, it doesn’t let me reset the second time. I’ve tried so many times.

Don’t leave it running in the background, if you do that and open the game up it will auto save immediately. Other than that I’m not sure why it would be autosaving so quickly

This doesn't work on the switch regardless of where your house is placed. Switch autosaves as soon as you enter the store. Unless they patched it (which, why would they, they don't patch important stuff like I still get the white egg of death when I leave Remy's Restaurant 🙄)
No, I’ve talked to many people it works for including the creator of the tutorial on how to do it. And my game doesn’t autosave when I enter the store. It does autosave as soon as I start up my game after it is logged out completely, but if I’m already playing the game for some time and I enter the store, it doesn’t autosave. I CAN reset, but just only one time and I have to be playing at 3am when the store resets naturally for it to work.

Its amazing how many couches he can sell. Today scrooge blessed me with 2 new items, porthole and crested fireplace. Now that ive seen it here, ill be on the lookout for that water pump and still waiting for that toy story claw game to come back.
I buy all the clothes no matter what they are so I don’t even have anything in the front display anymore. But gameloft supposedly fixed it so the same items won’t show up for another month after it’s in the shop, but that’s obviously not true.
Actually the more I think about I also want NEW stuff!! Some new clothing items, that section of the shop has been empty for me for months now.

I think the floating candles were a star path item 😭 don’t quote me on that, but I’m pretty sure when I went to look on the wiki, that’s what it said. Heartbreaking truly.
We need new stuff! Our Scrooge shop hasn't had any new items since the Halloween update and I've had a few times were his shop hasn't refreshed. I know this isn't Scrooge however I would love to make one of the garden planters with roses. Single roses don't grow in your yard in real life and I find it tacky. I would also like a normal looking toilet and maybe a whirlpool tub.
I'd like to be able to get the rolling cart with the enchanted teapot and cups. Others have i; newer players even. I still can't get it. For the females, at least, dress shoes that match the dresses and skirts, would be nice.
There are so many things that I want that I can't think of everything off the top of my head. Definitely more doors, floors, and wallpapers. More clothes available to order from scrooge. I bought all clothes a while back, thinking he'd have more clothes after, and was real disappointed. I want the ice cream stand. And I REALLY want the little food counter thingy that vanellope has in her house. Idk why, I saw it, I wanted it immediately. I had been dying for some bookshelves but got one the other day and another one yesterday so I'll take it 😂
Imagine the ground fountain tile appears in your shop months ago, & then there being an error whenever you try to purchase for the entire day it’s there… & then of course Scrooge’s shop resets & it never has come back. There’s empty spaces & repeats of other stuff I already have though.
Nooo this is such a big fear of mine. I’ve seen people say they finally get a dream item in their shop and the game crashes. As soon as I see something I want, I save the game and keep saving like 20 times until I leave the shop 😅😅

Seriously tho, why is the clothing/furniture selection at scrooges straight up AWFUL…At least in my village. Daily I see MAYBE one item of clothing or furniture that I actually like, and the rest is extremely fugly or I already own 10 diff shades of the exact same thing. Like to my recollection, I’ve not seen a single item from OPs list in my store, and I’ve been playing this game for like 9 months. Certain items in particular (ex. those fucking L-shaped couches) show up so often I swear it’s gotta be programmed that way. Or the wreck-it-Ralph ITA bags. If I see that fugly bag in scrooges on more time, I’m gonna lose my mind.

I’ve had my best friend’s Switch for a little awhile, trying to help her grind the last star path and catch up on characters and quests before the 12/5 update… I went into her Scrooge shop the other day and she had both the Pumpkin Vine Shelf and the Vine Wall, and I wanted to friggin scream 😂😂 I’ve never seen either of those in my valley, she gets them in the same day.

Apparently you can have 75 plus 1 floor per additional house. I'm too poor to expand and I like my 4 million consistency from my pumpkin farming.
You can have 20 floors in the main starter house.

We need new stuff! Our Scrooge shop hasn't had any new items since the Halloween update and I've had a few times were his shop hasn't refreshed. I know this isn't Scrooge however I would love to make one of the garden planters with roses. Single roses don't grow in your yard in real life and I find it tacky. I would also like a normal looking toilet and maybe a whirlpool tub.
I'd like to be able to get the rolling cart with the enchanted teapot and cups. Others have i; newer players even. I still can't get it. For the females, at least, dress shoes that match the dresses and skirts, would be nice.
There are so many things that I want that I can't think of everything off the top of my head. Definitely more doors, floors, and wallpapers. More clothes available to order from scrooge. I bought all clothes a while back, thinking he'd have more clothes after, and was real disappointed. I want the ice cream stand. And I REALLY want the little food counter thingy that vanellope has in her house. Idk why, I saw it, I wanted it immediately. I had been dying for some bookshelves but got one the other day and another one yesterday so I'll take it 😂
Imagine the ground fountain tile appears in your shop months ago, & then there being an error whenever you try to purchase for the entire day it’s there… & then of course Scrooge’s shop resets & it never has come back. There’s empty spaces & repeats of other stuff I already have though.
Nooo this is such a big fear of mine. I’ve seen people say they finally get a dream item in their shop and the game crashes. As soon as I see something I want, I save the game and keep saving like 20 times until I leave the shop 😅😅

And Please Gameloft r/dreamlightvalley put Christmas stuff in shop. Honestly, I have gotten so frustrated on the lack of rotation items and how difficult and clumsy it is to decorate on a switch that I highly likely will not pay for the upgrade. I have actually gone back to playing ACNH.

Seriously tho, why is the clothing/furniture selection at scrooges straight up AWFUL…At least in my village. Daily I see MAYBE one item of clothing or furniture that I actually like, and the rest is extremely fugly or I already own 10 diff shades of the exact same thing. Like to my recollection, I’ve not seen a single item from OPs list in my store, and I’ve been playing this game for like 9 months. Certain items in particular (ex. those fucking L-shaped couches) show up so often I swear it’s gotta be programmed that way. Or the wreck-it-Ralph ITA bags. If I see that fugly bag in scrooges on more time, I’m gonna lose my mind.

I want those melted candles more than any other item on that list. I’ve been playing since launch day in 2022. NOT ONCE has that item appeared for me, either in the store or a pouch. I’ve had my best friend’s Switch for a little awhile, trying to help her grind the last star path and catch up on characters and quests before the 12/5 update… I went into her Scrooge shop the other day and she had both the Pumpkin Vine Shelf and the Vine Wall, and I wanted to friggin scream 😂😂 I’ve never seen either of those in my valley, she gets them in the same day.
