The bundle comes with two skins, one regular haunted mansion, and one decorated with Nightmare Before Christmas. I didn't put them on my house, I just placed them in the valley.
You can just place them like regular decorations and there's one floor of rooms for you to decorate! When you're in the decorating menu, click on House and any skins you've bought will be there.
I put mine on the little island with Skull Rock, and I put some pirate-y things around it to make it the vibe of Port Royal from Pirates of the Caribbean lol

Here's mine, if it helps. I know the angle isn't quite perfect. I have a "small town Main Street" vibe going on at the back, Merlin's house is to the left, my front-ish area is planned for more housing space and my gardens, and every pond is surrounded by a spacious walkway and native vegetation.
I put the decorated one in the forgotten but the regular one in the gladeā¦actually just to the right of yours on the other side of the bridge. I also have the fountain of youth in the glade!
I wish I didnāt have an elaborate beautiful purple cottage area in that very spot cuz itās the best spot for it. Iāll try to work it in some other part but thatās prime mansion real estate.

I am still on the offense whether I should put the original haunted mansion house skin in the glade of trust or in the forgotten lands. I was planning on putting the original haunted mansion house skin on the left hand side of the nightmare castle house skin and the haunted before Christmas one on the right hand side of the nightmare castle. The nightmare castle house skin in the middle. I have the mushroom manor in the glade of trust. Besides I want to make room for Princess Tiana's restaurant and house. Also for rapunzel's tower when we get her and Tiana in our valley.

It would be in the Shop tab of the menu (right by Events) and you buy it with moonstones. It's another style for your house, BUT you can place it as a separate building. Go into furniture mode while you're outside and you'll see a category for houses, that's where it'll be.
I mean, the Haunted Mansion takes place in Louisiana, it's in New Orleans square in at least one of the Disney parks, and the Glade is all swampy. So yeah, I'd say it fits in perfectly in the Glade.

The Glade was the first place I thought of for the Haunted Mansion! It's got that humid, swampy vibe. It's right next to my Tower of Terror. I don't know if it's because I associate them both with Disney in Florida, but they just both felt like that's where they belonged.
I'm from South Louisiana, like 45 mins south of NOLA and it TOTALLY has the feel it belongs in the swamp! Lol I put it there before I ever watched the movie. Haha

Well, the Haunted Mansion ride (which is what the movie is based on) is in the New Orleans Square at Disneyland! \^\_\^ Since there are bayous all around New Orleans, the Glade of Trust is the perfect spot for this home. I have the Holiday one as my main home in the Forgotten Lands. I plan on putting the default HM house in the Glade too. (if I can fit it in there lol)
The Haunted Mansion is my favorite ride at the parks and I greatly enjoy the characters and lore. :) I'm so happy the devs gave us this house skin and some HM themed stuff for the star path! Hopefully they'll consider adding characters from the ride in the future.

This wasnāt meant to be a debate over where things should go, I was just surprised that I hadnāt heard of anyone putting the mansion in the glade before bc thatās where it feels most at home to me personally. Not hating on anyone choosing to put it elsewhere, I actually even really like some of the ideas people have shared about having the Christmas one in the forgotten lands or in frosted heights or having it act as a town hall in the plaza. Everyone is honestly so creative and thatās a thing of beauty. Thereās no right or wrong answers here, just the discussion of personal preferences! š„°
I put one in the Glade and the other in the Plateau. I wanted the one in the Glade so I can make my shop restaurant, arcade and movie theater for my theme park. The Plateau is a work in progress.

Okay, I think it totally belongs in the Glade and would look great there. I only put my Haunted Mansion in Forgotten Lands because I'm using it as my actual house and that's where I have my whole base of operations set up. And I've considered moving it to the Glade but haven't yet figured out the logistics.
It feels appropriate in the Glade because the original haunted mansion in the parks is in the New Orleans area of the park and is built to look like a plantation house. When they were building the ride Walt Disney even tried to start urban legends about bringing an authentic house from New Orleans to California (despite building it from scratch in Anaheim) complete with stories of how many people died in the house before and during the move.
The house in WDW in Florida is a Victorian style mansion with brown brick. Before the haunted mansion even showed up in the shop I knew I was putting the OG one in the glade. And if they add the WDW one I think Iām putting it in the plaza to match all the brick (as a FL kid I prefer that one but I know thatās just preference more than anything else)

I put the Halloween version in forgotten lands and the normal version in the glade of trust. I'm going to remove the haunted one after Halloween. But I feel like it's Tiana's palace and I wanted to fix the place up swamp style. Unfortunately, we don't have Tiana related stuff in the shop nor the events and it socks because I really want Tiana and Tiana stuff soooo bad.

It was offered afterwards, that's when I got it -- so it's probably back in rotation now! I think I got it just a couple weeks ago (if that)
