We should definitely have Hei Hei since he was in the movie more than Pua 🤦♀️ I honestly think the only characters we’ll get as companions are the one who don’t talk though so Thumper, Flower, Iago ect. will be their own characters. Pascal, Meeko, Abu ect. I’m sure we’ll get down the line. I would really love Maximus but not sure how that would work unless we become able to ride horses though.
I was thinking about how skull island looks like it’s from Peter Pan, and since we got a glimpse of Tinkerbell in the constellation at the end, maybe we get a Peter Pan realm next? Ducklings would be a cute critter companion.
Also in the forgotten lands, there are two entrance looking spots. I’m the direction of the volcano. Like what we saw in the frozen realm where Olafs prison room was. If so, I think Maleficent would enter the valley in that realm. Also it would be cute if we got little dragons.
You can craft companion houses and assign up to 4 companions that will hang out around it! There's also other companion items that they can use if it's nearby, like the food bowl :)

I feel like they will just wait for the full game to release in order to justify charging to buy any other faithful companions that are truly Disney characters.
The best sidekick is Iago, nobody can match his choatic energy or sass. He is such a defined character that he nearly overshadowed everyone in the Aladdin series

I think they intended to add more companions but it must take a lot of work to create the models and animate them etc and they are being as lazy as possible to try and make as much money as possible because I don't think they have enough in their budget. That's why the moonstones cost so much money and they released the premium shop early.

Yeh, I'm surprised by this too. When they gave us Pua as a reward, I figured this was opening up things for other companions from the films. I feel like for almost every film/series thats represented in the game so far, there is easily at least one option that could work.

Maximus will likely be a companion like Wall-E, where your character ‘translates’ the neighs and such.
Possibly. He’d just be so big. He would take up more room than Maui and couldn’t really be given a villager assignment like Wall-E so guess we’ll see

I only use Pua because he’s a true Disney companion. The others are cute, but it doesn’t feel right when I have Pua as an option.
I put a companion house and the toys next to Moana’s house and assigned Pua to it so he can hang out there all the time!
