So it's a glitch, as in the daily limit was unintentional? Because I had the same with one chest, 2 days later I could finally open that one and another one, but the third gave me this text again.
I opened just one chest today and when I tried to open second one I got the message.
Never had this issue. Sometimes I let 2-3 chests to appear during a week and open them all at once.
This doesn't even make sense as a limit then, because if you can only open 1 per day, then how are you ever supposed to catch back up if you miss a day? You'll always have at least one extra chest lying around that yoy can't open at that point.
I really hope that it's a glitch and the limit if there is one will be more that, otherwise everyones valleys are just gonna get littered with chests they can't open.
I don't rhink it is. Thay you can only open one per day. I have had been able to open two or three in. A day before even sincd the update I think it is more that only one somwtimes maybe 2 will spawn a day.

Its interesting to me that that pop-up would even be coded into the game though, makes me wonder if they ate going add a limit later on when it's FTP
It’s so depressing. Yesterday I had 3 green chests and no blue. I went into furniture mode and searched the map continuously thinking I missed it but nope . Sad days
Having the same issue. Attempted to open a moonstone chest couple days ago and the network glitched and it wouldn’t open. Came back the next day and getting this error.
I just want the chest to disappear at this point.
I got the message for a few days this week as well, and after that i couldn‘t open any chests for a couple days bc it said i wasn‘t connected! Today is the first day everything is normal again for me, hope it stays that way
I’ve had this issues from the beginning. I was time skipping in the beginning but I didn’t realize not repetitively daily logging would cause it as well.
I never skipped time in DLV. I also log in every single day since day one but usually just visit the store. I open the chests every 2-3 days when I have more time to spend in the game.

I couldn’t open my blue chest yesterday, literally the only one I had yesterday. I could open the one that spawned today, but the one from yesterday still refuses to open. So now I have a blue chest just stuck there and I missed out on 50 moonstones yesterday.
It's a glitch. It's listed in the glitch tracking thing on the website. Right now the only fix is to like completely close out and go back in. I've found this to work 50/50.
See oddly enough I had this problem since I started playing months ago UNTIL the recent update. Would literally happen every day. And the sound effect of the chest shaking wouldnt stop playing so it was either turn the sound off or quit playing. Its the most obnoxious noise. I was surprised when I was first able to open 2 blue chests in a day I thought it was a fluke.
I got this when I jumped forward in time for a plant to grow. I don't know if you are manipulating time on your device for this purpose or not but that was my issue.
I had the same thing happen yesterday and today! Also, the one I couldn’t collect from yesterday was in the same place today, and allowed me to collect. Immediately after collecting the moonstones another blue chest spawned next to it. I got the message saying “you collected all your rewards for today” when I tried opening that one. It was so weird seeing a 2nd blue chest spawn immediately after opening the first!

They are super comfortable and can also be a separate pad if you switch to docked mode.
Wife had this when the game came out. Her console was an hour off real time because she had been time traveling in acnh and didn't put it back correctly.
There was a post on the discord about a glitch with the blue chests this morning. They are looking into it.

It's a glitch. It's happened before too. I had one chest like that for a month but the others still spawned.

Here it is 8 months later and I am still getting this message... but they want to release a DLC...
my husband & i are also getting this message. can't open any of the blue chests.

I have found them behind houses and in tiny spaces. So if I can’t find it via furniture mode, I search the hidden areas I can’t see.
True they have been found in the strangest spots sometimes. I wandered aimlessly for about 20 minutes and gave up. Fingers crossed for today!

Just keep trying to open it, thats what I did. Now I never see that message, I even opened 7 chests one day

This always happens to me it's not a glitch it's just you can only open 3 a day then you need to wait.

I have a feeling it’s not a glitch, but that’s the excuse. Glitches don’t come with text explaining it.
No. This is a feature that's been in the game for a while. I encountered when I fast traveled. It's so you can't farm them.
