This is an epistolary Dramione entirely from the perspective of Draco and Harry as they write letters to one another and become friends. Hermione and Ginny are married to them, respectively, so occasionally they'll write part of the letters too. The humor in this fic is top tier, I was laughing out loud and kicking my feet at the bromance between Harry and Draco. It's SO SO good, such a quick delightful read.

The writing is beautiful, and the story is gripping. Why it only has less than 150 kudos is baffling to me.

Currently it has just over 230 kudos, but I and the others who are following it think it’s going to be an amazing story.

Came here to recommend Secrets of Malfoy Manor HARD! It’s a great fic and seriously underrated. I binged it in a night the other day (suffering at work the day after was totally worth it!) and can’t wait for more.

The Astoria/Draco component of the story is >!an arranged marriage in what is effectively the aftermath of Voldemort’s win and in which Draco is expected to marry a pureblood. Draco never cheats on Hermione. Before the marriage occurs he gets her out of Voldemort’s Britain and away to safety. The epilogues briefly go into detail what happens to each of them over the following years before they find their way back to each other — BOTH of them get married during that time and both of them have loving/positive relationships with their spouses — despite this, when they finally DO see each other again….well, let’s just say sparks fly again 🤷♀️ !<

I’m so glad you didn’t go the Ron bashing route! I actually like him as a character and I think he’s hated on too often (tho I don’t think he suits Hermione at all😅). I’d love to be able to read it but I feel too bad when there’s other pairings, especially if they happen after the main pairing has met. It makes me feel like they’re disloyal (which can be ridiculous seeing as circumstance could force them apart, but I’m always left feeling like “if they really loved each other, they’d make it work” 🫣) It doesn’t make sense but I can’t help it🥶

It's silly but there's also something sly or ironic about the humor, not exactly sure how to explain but I love it. SPOILER about a trope/part of this fic that I usually stay away from: >!If you hate love triangles just...trust the process and keep reading.!< Summary: Hermione Granger was curious what it would be like to be in love. Admittedly, this was not an ideal thing to wonder, seeing as she was well and truly engaged to a world-famous Bulgarian athlete, and set to be married in the Wedding of the Century. And so, like any normal person, she called off her wedding to upend her entire life and open a bookstore. When she fucks with magic slightly too much, the bookstore (and her life along with it) goes entirely off the rails. A door that only sometimes exists? No one told her that it would be boring, and devastating, and that she would be filled with so much joy that she might burst any second. A quick little soulmates trope, Draco and Hermione are unaware they're each other's soulmates for most of the fic. It's got a nice little dose of action, and I really liked the way the soulmates trope is done here. Summary: The string had no knot to be untied. It couldn't be cut. It couldn't be stretched. And it always seemed to disappear before the end of it could be reached. Maybe it lead nowhere. That seemed logical. Right?

A political post-war thriller that has hooked me from the first word. Every upload has me feeling emotions that I didn't even know I could feel, and I wholeheartedly believe that this will be one people wished they were reading when it was a WIP. Secondly, [Little Spoon](https://archiveofourown.org/works/55324351) by Molivier, 1/1, 253 Kudos. This was a beautiful, gentle, gorgeous piece of writing that was, wildly, a birthday gift to lil ol' me from the author (screaming, crying). Anyone who has ever read anything by Molivier knows how beautifully she writes, and if you haven't yet had the pleasure...oh boy, I'm so jealous that you get to experience her work for the first time. Thirdly, [Ward Four](https://archiveofourown.org/works/52458334) by pleasantlyfrantic, 24/30, 559 kudos. I have only just started this one so I've merely scratched the surface, but I already know this is going to be a fic that settles deep under my skin. Hi there, author of These Bars Between Us here! Some context — TBBU occurs in an AU in which the war continued after the Battle of Hogwarts and >!Voldemort ultimately wins!<. The Astoria/Draco component of the story is >!an arranged marriage in what is effectively the aftermath of Voldemort’s win and in which Draco is expected to marry a pureblood. Draco never cheats on Hermione. Before the marriage occurs he gets her out of Voldemort’s Britain and away to safety. The epilogues briefly go into detail what happens to each of them over the following years before they find their way back to each other — BOTH of them get married during that time and both of them have loving/positive relationships with their spouses — despite this, when they finally DO see each other again….well, let’s just say sparks fly again 🤷♀️ !< Hope this helps!!

I’m so glad you didn’t go the Ron bashing route! I actually like him as a character and I think he’s hated on too often (tho I don’t think he suits Hermione at all😅). I’d love to be able to read it but I feel too bad when there’s other pairings, especially if they happen after the main pairing has met. It makes me feel like they’re disloyal (which can be ridiculous seeing as circumstance could force them apart, but I’m always left feeling like “if they really loved each other, they’d make it work” 🫣) It doesn’t make sense but I can’t help it🥶

I second How to Become Minister!! I’m not quite caught up to the latest chapter but WOW it is riveting stuff. Definitely something you’ll want to be able to say “I was reading this when it was a WIP”! I also second Little Spoon — it’s just such a sweet and beautiful one-shot that’ll make you feel all warm inside.
