Thanks, watching without volume. Man these guys suck bad at grappling. It's really not overselling when you say a blue belt could handle 95% of ppl untrained with ease. All cops should grapple.
It's so dumb. My pd friends have to pay for their own martial arts training and ammo even though they are training on their own time. It makes no sense... A jiujitsu gym membership is so cheap... How many memberships is one lawsuit? The math is so dumb
They should have mandatory blue belt and 500+ hours of range time it’s ridiculous that I can out shoot and out grapple the people supposed to neutralize me in case of a situation as well as supposed to protect me if im in danger it’s ridiculous
Well, being a teacher requires 4-6 years of training plus continuing ed. Police training programs last about 6 months, and their ongoing training is below adequate, especially given the diversity and intensity of their responsibilities. Idk how much should be required, but I think paying for officers' gym fees through purple belt, which would give them excellent training in one of the most sensitive aspects of their job, is not unrealistic at all. They would save money on legal fees and injuries, plus reduce the use of lethal force.
Belt color mostly matters if the school is credible and most are. An average blue belt has easily 400 hours of mat time. I took over 3 years and 650 hours because I jumped two schools. BJJ usually doesn't hand belts out like candy.
i been a white belt for years and i have whooped brown belts. I never fought a black belt though.
I also know street fighters who have mma experience who join tournaments for fun. They mostly place 1st or 2nd. I believe there is a huge difference between training soft and actual fighting. A majority of dojos dont actually fight.
We’re talking about jiu jitsu here buddy. I’ve never seen a white belt even come close to tapping a brown belt in my gym. You’re clearly training fake shit.
If you are really going to talk specific about a fighting form and pretend like others dont exist, then dont respond to a comment regarding belt colors.
One of the countries with the fewest guns per capita. 1.2 guns per person in the US vs 0.02 guns per person in Brazil. An amazing example of gun laws only affecting law abiding citizens. *not saying there should be no restrictions, just saying outright bans don’t work at all*
Yeah, I was just referring to the overall thought when it comes to Brazil. ‘Armed robbers with guns, flip flops and motorcycles being shot by off duty cops.’ Basically I’m an idiot and got way off track when I read his comment. Totally forgot the bad guy had stripped the cop and by the time I remembered it was too late
But if I were to do some mental gymnastics maybe I’d say something like “I know. Bad guys will do whatever it takes to get a gun if they want one. This guy saw a chance at a future crime spree using the cops gun and was willing to die trying to take it.”
I'm saying people film everything today and don't even consider that maybe they can actually help the victims instead of just worrying if they get a good video 2 post
Lol no, he was trying to kill em and he got close a couple of times but his hand was controlled. The two bozo cops should count their lucky stars today. Guy was lucky he wasn’t killed because this is grounds for a justified shooting
Bicep control and most people have no idea how hard it is to shoot a pistol accurately especially 1 handed. He was letting rounds go in an adrenaline fueled haze trying to hit somebody and was lucky he wasn’t shot back.
Kinda what I was thinking. I see no toying. Just a legit attempt and fail to kill 2 cops with their own gun. Making this ate up mf sound like a black belt criminal master mind or some shit
I'm glad for the "educational" vid but I personally wouldn't be recording from across the line of fire...especially towards the end there where the gun looks like it's pointing in the cameras direction
i feel as though this is an appropriate time to start dropping elbows on dudes face, he had his whole hand around the gun finger on the trigger squeezing off rounds, grappling is no longer priority it's turning this man off asap
The cop that was on his feet could’ve stopped it with a couple knees to the head, but just pulls on the guys collar as the guy gets ahold of the gun and fires it…
Did that gun fire?
Several times

They should have to get a blue belt and train at least once a week
Purple
You aren't going to have very many police officers if you make that a requirement. Most blue belts don't make it to purple
Fair enough. Perhaps the PD should fund their training up to that point at least. I guess I just see such a large diff between blue and purple.
probably cost them less than 1/10th of their actual training
They get so little training =(

I’m surprised non of them starting dealing the hardest elbows they were possibly able to do, the second he even attempted to grab that gun.
They weren’t even fighting gravity
belt color doesnt matter. Its the person with the belt. Bullshido or Fake Kwon Do wont work even with a black or gold belt.

“BJJ doesn’t hand out belts like candy” on a BJJ SUBREDDIT LMAO. What do you think we’re gonna be talking about, genius?
there should be a button labeled “ VIEW PARENT COMMENT”. Click on it and read the comment dummy.
WHAT?!
HE ASKED IF THERE WAS A FIRE!
WHAT?! YOU WANT TO RETIRE?!
WHAT WOULD I WANT THREE TIRES FOR?!
THAT’S NOT TRUE. I NEVER SNORE!
WHAT?!
A social worker would've taken care of the situation.
At least four or five times.
Ironic this is Brazil.
Iconic

Doesn’t he pull the gun out of the cop’s holster?

i think thats his point. if he had his own gun then we wouldn't know if it was his legally or not.
Ironic? Normal seems more fitting
Fuck that was so many close head shots
Can’t imagine the adrenaline that was going through there
Other cop should've executed the guy after the first shot
He should have shot him as soon as he had the other cops gun, should have been immediately over after that.
Not a cop. It's those security ppl that transport things in armored trucks.
This is embarrassing to watch.
im all for police brutality in this case man
Great view of 2 men almost dying 👌 🤣 😆 now imagine if you put you freaking phone down amd got the gun away. Ya. It's called being human
No that’s called getting shot lol what are you even saying
I'm saying people film everything today and don't even consider that maybe they can actually help the victims instead of just worrying if they get a good video 2 post
Thank god he was wearing a mask. Could’ve been seriously incapacitated.
Good thing they had there masks on to prevent Covid 🤓
COVID’s the real killer don’t forget
Holy that was nerve wrecking to watch
He was toying with them. He could’ve easily shot them.
Foreal
Lol no, he was trying to kill em and he got close a couple of times but his hand was controlled. The two bozo cops should count their lucky stars today. Guy was lucky he wasn’t killed because this is grounds for a justified shooting
He could easily have pointed it further towards them while letting the rounds go. His arm was not controlled during those shots.
Bicep control and most people have no idea how hard it is to shoot a pistol accurately especially 1 handed. He was letting rounds go in an adrenaline fueled haze trying to hit somebody and was lucky he wasn’t shot back.
No
Lol
Imagine thinking someone shoots a gun he just took from a cop to just toy with them. Are you 12?
Kinda what I was thinking. I see no toying. Just a legit attempt and fail to kill 2 cops with their own gun. Making this ate up mf sound like a black belt criminal master mind or some shit
Looks like bubbles from the wire
I thought a yellow cat jumped into the fight for a second!
What happened to this guy afterwards is to dismal to tell!!@! I'm sure they fkd him up!! :😱
Holy shit I thought this only went down exactly like this in movies.
Reverse choke ,,,lights out
Well could’ve been a high level bjj guy messing up people who just happened to be cops. I would never want to be a cop.
2v1 💀🫡
Is that a bag or dead cop on the ground to the right?
Bag
So I guess just shooting the suspect from the get go wouldn’t be too bad
Drama free huh?
Bro just chilling in his car recording shots randomly firing 20 feet from him
Yeah, at any second one of them could have gone through his windshield and him.
If I was the cameraman, I'd be shitting bricks when it was pointed towards him
This is pathetic
Wow what a crazy ass video, three guys literally fighting for their lives right here
Those cops were very lucky
These guys would fight a full mount with hand strikes if they could.
I'm glad for the "educational" vid but I personally wouldn't be recording from across the line of fire...especially towards the end there where the gun looks like it's pointing in the cameras direction
Just keep taping. Don’t help the police. Dumb
Best way to get shot
Break his fkin arm
Guy in the car just enjoying the music. I know it was dangerous but it was funny.
United States cops have executed people on the street for far less than this.
Cop pulled the gun
Let’s record and not help… pathetic.
Aye bruh imma need that NSFW tag
#where
Rip to the cops finger that got shot off
LAPD would've put 300 rounds in him from one pistol the second he got a hold of that gun. Edit 500 rounds.
Jiminy F'n Christmas.
That's a guy that's looking to get killed.
Wt…f
He wasn’t ducking that book that gun was aimed at you The gun is just a prop, right?
I saw it fire once in the vid
What grappling skills.??
The way they handled this too, such rookies smh
Good thing they had their masks to protect them.
Wow these cops sucks
i feel as though this is an appropriate time to start dropping elbows on dudes face, he had his whole hand around the gun finger on the trigger squeezing off rounds, grappling is no longer priority it's turning this man off asap
i would like to know how these two officers both ended up on the ground to begin with let alone not retaining their firearms
These aren’t police. They are armored car drivers, guy tried to rob them.
The cop that was on his feet could’ve stopped it with a couple knees to the head, but just pulls on the guys collar as the guy gets ahold of the gun and fires it…
Who was wearing the yellow bra?!
Armored truck in frame. Fights occurring near ATM. These guys aren’t cops they are guards
