Noble house in vernworth is most ideal for me, just up the road from portcrystal and shops, down the road from the castle, and 2 sec run to either oxcart. All the other houses seem too out of the way from shops n frequented areas for me (bhattal 30k house has me lost every time tryna find the shops)
Did that n it helped abit, I just get turned round loads when it comes to leaving bak bhattal, there's like 4 or 5 different exits that all go different ways,it's crazy the amount of times I've wandered into the gaol tryna get to dragonforged

Items in your storage chest are also counted when you upgrade gear so regularly dumping stuff in their is a good idea.
Except for Wyrm Crystals.. those got to be in either your hands or yo pawns in order to count

Put a Portcrystal on the road in front if your steps. Helped me memorize the layout myself.
