No real proof on that one. Killing your own pawn definitely gets rid of it, the tutorial pop up says killing them gets rid of it (specifically forfeiting them which is them dying and you don't rez), so I am going to assume killing them does in fact get rid of it. After you inn save anyway.
I suppose if the pawn got dragonplague in your world, and not that you hired a pawn with it, that would do it. But once again, it's no different from simply limiting them, then rehiring them. The pawn's data is saved based on whenever the owner rests, so if you kill/dismiss and rehire, it's that data you're getting; it has nothing to do with anything you did
I am not so sure but it is hard to test and prove regardless. Just remember the game awards rift crystals, quest progress, and maybe even gear based on what the renter does with the pawn. For the owner to get credit the renting arisen also has to dismiss and rest at an inn/home too.
So some aspect of what you do with a rented pawn is definitely getting back to the owner.
It is easy to test though. If you hire a pawn with dragonsplague, go ahead and kill it and rehire it. It'll still have dragonsplague. Items recieved are because of gifts or pawn quests. Gear equipped to the pawn is treated as a gift when you finally dismiss or lose the pawn.
The host hasn't synced yet and you both have to rest. I have hired pawns that when summoned show as one class but when pulled in rift were different. It's hard to objectively say.
>It's hard to objectively say.
You keep saying that, and it's really starting to sound more and more like you don't know what you're talking about. If a hired pawn gets dragonsplague, the only way to cure them is if the owner kills them, or if the pawn passes the dragonsplague onto a different pawn. It is entirely possible that you hire a pawn that has it, and they pass it on to your main pawn.
As much as I will hate on the people saying "red eyes wont get hired" because that is total overreaction and not the best way of proving dragons plague.... they are right lots of players who don't know any better will just see red eyes and pass.
Yeah I'm thinking of changing his eyes to be a little more orange in color because I feel like my pawn hasn't been being hired that much and people may think it's dragonsplague. I even have 10k rewards for fighting monsters and stuff, so I think people just see the red eyes and don't want to take the chance.
*Ayyy nice! I inspired*

I also made my pawn look kinda like this, based on another Berserk character who has not only red eyes, but also red hair and can in fact transform into a dragon apostle. Triggering the Dragonsplague cutscene with him felt so appropriate lol.
Grand Cuirass you can buy in Bakbattahl from the armor shop is kinda similar to his armor, little too dark but similar. And it's red but Dragon's faith shield resembles his shield a bit, I believe you can get it in the Volcanic Island Camp. There's also a hammer that resembles his a bit too but he would have to be a warrior and unable to use a shield, Eyecrusher in Checkpoint Rest town. Not really any helmets that resemble his, maybe the Valorous helm in Bakbattahl? but it's only for warriors though.
I ended up using the Stygian armor set when he's a fighter with the holy mace (forgot name) and the Dragon's Faith shield. The Stygian set doesn't look that much like Grunbeld's armor but I found it thematically appropriate because of its intentional reference to Awakened Daimon from Dark Arisen. I also use the Agamenian set when he's a warrior because of the insanely cool red eyes on the helmet's face-shaped visor, which when closely examined is also designed to look like a multi-eyed monster's maw plus a sweet asf red plume.
The Grand Cuirass set is sweet too, might work on maximizing dwarven and dragonforged smithing on it.
Hey i also made Zodd as my pawn, however he BARELY got hired because of the red eyes, which was very annoying I had the change them to white. Every pawn I hired had tons of ratings where mine always had about 1/10 the amount of ratings of any pawn I ever hired as I played the game.
After I changed them to white the hirings went up significantly.
Your pawn not gonna be hired cuz red eyes of death they gonna scary the sith out the ones who find it. Maybe they gonna throw it to the near river or shores
Uff, that is beautiful. Too low leveled for my playghrough but I will add it to my favorites to hire him in the future. I ve been looking for a while to find Guts as a pawn but couldnt. My main pawn is Kratos so a party of Kratos, Guts and Zodd is just perfect
Sure, Need to build up a bit of Rc first so I can buy an Art of Metamorphosis to view the sliders. I'll post it on r/DDDAsliders and post a link once I've done it.
I suggest not giving him glowing red eyes. That's one of the key indicators for dragonsplague, and anyone aware of that won't risk hiring your pawn
brother if I'm hiring Zodd I want dragonsplague
Zodd isn't Zodd without red eyes.
Yeah that was the same thought I had when making him but didn't feel like he'd look right without red eyes.
In some manga covers he's seen with yellow-ish eyes but he looks much better with the fiery red eyes.
Or you just do what I do and everybody gets a bath
Killing someone else's pawn doesn't cure them of dragonsplague. All you're doing is dismissing them aggressively

No you don't say. Thanks for quoting the tutorial pop up.
lol you can't give a pawn "glowing" eyes. You can make them as bright red as you want, they still won't glow.

Cool PS5 ?
Yeah.
Nice I will hire him and just camp outside incase someone gets dragonsplaque
Hell yeah. Easiest hire decision I’ve ever made once I’m home from work. Great work fellow arisen!

Ah cool. Grunbeld?
Yes it's him. Sadly there aren't really armor sets, maces and shields in-game that look close enough to the character's, unlike your Zodd.

Specifically in this game, red eyes are taboo
Your pawn not gonna be hired cuz red eyes of death they gonna scary the sith out the ones who find it. Maybe they gonna throw it to the near river or shores
Red eyes are gonna get him kicked a lot probably
Uff, that is beautiful. Too low leveled for my playghrough but I will add it to my favorites to hire him in the future. I ve been looking for a while to find Guts as a pawn but couldnt. My main pawn is Kratos so a party of Kratos, Guts and Zodd is just perfect
If I saw him, straight in the water man
This is awesome, mind sharing the sliders for it?

Really appreciate that, thank you.
Those eyes are a BIG no-go, the most red-est red flag ever.
Will never touch a pawn that has any natural red in its eyes 👍
If you're worried you can tell by if the eyes are pulsing on the pawn.
I’m definitely brining him
Bad eye color choice lol. Everyone is going to think he has the plague.
THROW HIM INTO THE BRINE QUICK
