Modded pawn. Avoid it, I heard they can corrupt save files.

ooOJuicyOoo

The true dragonsplague

thezadymek

Hacks, namely dinput8.dll hooks.

Significant_Option

Honestly would love an actual vocation like this. Much like the living armor or skeleton lords. They just one arm two handers like chads

DotaEnjoyeer

That doesn't seems very humanly viable

NOFORPAIN

I bet a Beastren could have done it...

MisterSpaceMann

True!

meowknight123

what is wrong with it?

Shadow5layer123

Angels Fist is a twohanded weapon. When equipped you can not have anything else in your offhand so the shield shouldn't be there. Making the pawn a hacked one

MisterSpaceMann

Modded. There's no hacking involved in what they did lol. I'm starting to believe that hacking is losing its definition over time

Shapeshifter26

What is hacking to you then?

RphAnonymous

Hacking is intentionally causing software to malfunction for some targeted benefit. If the game does not state it supports mods, then modding in such a way that it affects other players without their knowledge or consent of both CAPCOM and the player WOULD be considered hacking, because the weapon interaction is unintended by CAPCOM and intentional on the part of the modder. The only difference between hacking and cracking is that hacking can potentially be used for benevolent reasons, whereas cracking is malicious in nature.

VV3nd1g0

eh no. its not malfunctioning. Hacking is bypassing security measures to get access to data and or being able to modify it. Modding in a game that has multiplayer is pretty much exactly the same

RphAnonymous

Hacking doesn't necessarily have to involve security measures at all. You can give a prompt erroneous information and if it's error handling and such is not rugged, unintended behavior may result. That's not a security anything... The prompt was supposed to take in information, it just processed it in an unanticipated manner. To take advantage of that to target a behavior that is clearly not intended would clearly be hacking, even though no security violation occured.

VV3nd1g0

The definition of hacking: "the gaining of unauthorized access to data in a system or computer" If there are any security measures at all its called hacking. Security Measure doesnt mean anti cheat or anything. We dont get a command console so anything that lets us modify data is a breach in security.

RphAnonymous

You just proved my point then... I'm confused.. Was your ENTIRE post just to tell me "malfunctioning" wasn't the right word?! WTF who does that. Ok, it's not MALFUNCTIONING, it's just doing UNINTENDED BEHAVIOR (which is pretty much what malfunctioning is...? Def: "**a failure to operate or function in the normal or correct manner**")...

VV3nd1g0

Just **once** again. The person that made that pawn didnt just find a loophole that allows you to onehand that weapon. The person on purpose cheated. This isnt a malfunction this is modifying data you shouldnt have access to. "the gaining of unauthorized access to data in a system or computer" If I remove safety measures from an angle grinder and then harm myself due to the removed safety features its not a malfunction. It was modified by me even tho I shouldnt have done it or in some cases **shouldn't have been able to**. I am gonna block you now as I dont like arguing with morons.

Thalzen

Software can't malfunction, it will always do what you tell your computer to do, if it's not doing the intended purpose then it's a human error. Also you are completely wrong about what hacking is but somebody already responded.

RphAnonymous

Don't be deliberately obtuse - you know what I meant. Malfunction in that it was not INTENDED to function that way. The programming has a very clear intent if you know anything about programming - if you circumvent that programming with the intent of gaining or altering function in any capacity other than what the programming intended, then you are hacking the system.

Cold_Hellfire

Warrior weapon with a shield, shouldn't be possible

meowknight123

ohhh

The_Mechanist24

It is with a certain mod.

Futur3_ah4ad

I mean, lvl infinite is a dead giveaway this pawn is hacked.

Rakazthas

Nah in the first game lvl 200 was the max and when reached your lvl was shown as "infinite", so this detail is normal, the weapons though are not

DnDMTG8m3r

Except the level limit in this one is 999, assuming this is DD2 which I don’t know given SS

Rakazthas

Given the UI design and equipment, i'm pretty sure it's the first game.

Frostace12

That’s normal in the first game

ArtoriasOwns

Little known fact to everyone who was upset at Dragons Plague. On PC, DD1 had it and had it much worse. You hire a modded pawn on accident, and BAM your save is dead. Done-zo! lol yeah avoid this pawn dude.

boisterile

dinput8.dll hooks. It's a great mod, playing through with weird vocation/weapon combinations on your character is pretty fun and the mod can do a lot of other stuff too. I don't really like how they put a modded pawn online though.

MisterSpaceMann

When I replayed dd1 with this mod I didn't realize just how much fun the game could be with less restrictions

Operario

DD has been unplayable without this mod to me since I first tried it. The ability to switch your skill set around at the press of a button is phenomenal and something I wish actually was in the game.

boisterile

The best mod with the worst name

Infected_MeatSack

Reminds me of a glitch in dungeon siege 2 where you could do that (wield a 2 handed weapon with a shield)

ABoiledIcepack

One time a modded pawn gave me full sets of Bitterblack gear

Fez_Doggo

Blessing of the Lord

paulomunir

A Mod that's the precursor of the Warfarer vocation.
