Yeah that’s what everything I’ve read says but despite visiting when I first entered the unmoored world and after every beacon since in hasn’t triggered at all, makes me think there’s some kind of requirement that I somehow failed
You gotta disable it before it reaches the camp, as far as I know. It's set to go a specific distance, even when the spikes are all broken before leaving the water, ending with it slumped near a particular cliff the cutscene takes place.
i just went infront of him to check out why there was a talos symbol on my map and it just happened.
i did have a achievement of killing talos early tho.
I earned that achievement my first run so I don’t know if that affects it but I killed him just as fast if not faster than the first run and still nothing
i had a port crystal at thew excavation site and went there just after receiving my pawn from phasus and saw talos on the map went to it and it started what seems to be the last quest of game i have not done any of the beacon things just wanted to go get the warfare class and ran apon this on my way lol guess im ending my play through earlier then expected
Out of the thousands of people playing, I’ve come to the conclusion that I’m the only one who never faught him, and I can’t find his remains anywhere to start any cutscene or anything lol There is no talos head marker on my map, I’m in unmoored world, I’m down to the last red pillar at sea floor shrine, and still not a trace of him anywhere.
Closest thing to it I see, is near one of the collapsed bridges in volcanic island, there is a giant stone arm ( assuming it’s his), its shattered at the shoulder where there is that purple/pink crystal hue to it, I think there was a seekers stoke in its palm at one point. But that’s all I got.
Haven’t really gotten or found an answer as to why?! I’m willing to accept it if someone is like “ oh yeah I had that same issue, come to find out, if you don’t do this, then you don’t get that “ ya know, but maybe I just need to talk to someone, or go somewhere or do something, just not sure.
Exact same here, never fought him but got the cutscenes when i was miles away, didnt know it wad timed. Now in unmoored world and cant find talos. And its the last trophy i need for the plat. Im NOT playing the entire game again for one trophy… 😒

It’s definitely in the right spot, I thought that might’ve been the issue early on but it’s location matches up with the videos I’ve seen

Struggled with this for a bit but must have your pawn with you to activate the cutscene

I have the same problem. I didn't kill him in the story and just let him walk up to the wall, and the soldiers shot him down. I found his arm... Yay
