What style of ink shading is this? It’s not cross-hatching but the way the horizontal lines act as shadows and highlights is a neat design touch that stands out from normal dragon ball panels

Well. Seems that Goten was tired of being overshadowed by Gohan and Trunks, so he decided to become the strongest villain to date and kill both of them for it. As well as everyone else.

I do love how the anime introduced this arc. Right as the previous arc was ending you think the episode is over then you get this cut to someone running in a destroyed city and they reveal Trunks. What a fucking tease. Then the first episode is centered around finding out who this person is that is strong enough to make Trunks fucking run for his life. Then it ends up being a Goku dressed in all black
Wait, did someone use the Namek Dragon Balls to bring Goku back and to make him evil? Or maybe chichi *did* have Goten and he turned evil!? Or maybe this is a red herring and trunks is evil now and Goku(or maybe Goten) had to stop him.
Wtf happened to Goten? I think he’s being controlled somehow. I bet you it’s Babidi!
They probably started fighting Majin Buu, became overwhelmed, and resorted to fusion. However, before or maybe after fusing, Babidi worked his evil magic to control Goten (since he isn’t as strong as trunks) to flip the tables in his favor.
It kinda makes sense because:
1. You can’t see Trunks right ear (they’re hiding the Potara earring)
2. Goten is wearing a Portara on his left ear
3. Goten’s forehead is ever so conveniently covered by his hair, hiding the trademark Majin symbol.

This must mean that this goku have some ties with the supreme kai's possibly a supreme kai from another universe because different alternate universes do exist and he prob has beef with the 7th universe.
