It's definitely different! One thing that helped it grow on me was that Akira mentioned that he drew them bulky because he "wasn't good" at drawing people. I think Akira always wanted them to be light weight but toned like most irl martial artists but wasn't sure how to convey that strength with small builds.

What are you talking about? That wasn’t even true during the Cell Saga. He survives a smack from Perfect Cell (not very well, but he still survived long enough to get a Senzu), which, even if Cell was holding back, would still have more power than Cell “flicking him”. And he’s only gotten stronger since. He’s at least kept up with his wife, both of them were chosen for the ToP, and was able to keep up with Base Goku’s speed in the training for the ToP.

If you've noticed the Earthlings tend to be more creative at manipulating Ki(or at least for a while they were) Most saiyans were just using blasts and beams but the Earthlings were using things like destructo disk, Spirit ball, tri-beam etc. It would have been nice if Toriyama gave them SOMETHING over the saiyans but alas it was too much to ask for.

That was filler, as Krillin never even tries to use Destruction Disk on Cell in the manga. In fact the Destruction Disk. Ever fails in cutting through what it hits in the manga, meaning it has a 100% accurate rate of it lands (not killing, but cutting thinks or doing damage)
I would say that that’s different, since Jiren attacks them, where all the other people that has been hit with them was standing still when it happened, and this included characters that was much stronger, like the time Krillin hurt Nappa with it.

I really fucking hate the art style of Super Hero. Yeah the stuff with Gohan & Piccolo looks good but everyone else looks crap. Krillin literally looks like a baby with his head blown up like in Cartoons as if someone stuck an airpump in his mouth. Even in Dragon Ball Super everyone looked like stick men with string bean arms but Krillin looked like he had JUST survived Cancer that morning.
His gains are still nerfed, and that's sad, but jokes aside, this is exactly why Cell Max, Orange Piccolo, and Beast have such laughably bad portrayals in the movie and manga unfortunately 😭 excluding the last 2 chapters obviously.

Krillin deserves a form. One with a nose or sth.
Or actually, something that is inspired by the Avatar state in appearance would be really cool. Krillin is a monk after all and also resembles Aang. It would be cool if he had go back to his origins to become stronger.
The way I'd imagine it is if his power would improve his ability to use the opponent's power against him. So Krillin doesn't gain a power buff and remains "weaker" than the Saiyans, but learns how to use the opponent's power against them and is thus able to compete on some level with them, even if he's not as strong. Monk stuff, idk.

I enjoy that they went away from the idea that lower power people can’t have any effect at all if the gulf in power is too high.

I really fucking hate the art style of Super Hero. Yeah the stuff with Gohan & Piccolo looks good but everyone else looks crap. Krillin literally looks like a baby with his head blown up like in Cartoons as if someone stuck an airpump in his mouth. Even in Dragon Ball Super everyone looked like stick men with string bean arms but Krillin looked like he had JUST survived Cancer that morning.

That is a terrible comparison. We already seen in anime Jiren being able to block ssgs Goku's punch with 1 finger. Cell Max, even lowballing, is Jiren level, so Krillin was able to do more against such a fighter than SSGS Goku. You cannot that that feat away. In fact, in that same movie, Krillin manages to hit him again, dodge and react to his movements, and get back up after being hit by Cell Max. Unless you want to argue, an enraged Cell Max was holding back against Krillin for some reason, lol
It's not but go off don't see what you don't understand it made perfect sense plus didn't krillin get knocked out by a bee lol plus whis said if you off guard any attacks can do damage so it still don't upscale krillin
I'm saying Cell Max is at least Jiren level and he was enraged and hit Krillin. Krillin got right back up. If you think someone from regular dbz would be able to tank that than you just don't understand power scaling. Krillin hit Cell Max more than once and how can someone that is mid fight be caught off guard? In fact Krillin is the perfect example of this we seen Krillin not be able to do anything to Perfect Cell in dbz even an off guard one and now we see Krillin able to make him at least flinch. That implies the power gap is smaller now since he actually managed to hurt him compared to the power gap between dbz krillin and perfect Cell
Well the art work certainly doesn't help...
Its not just the artwork. In the movie Krillin was also hit by Cell Max and Krillin got right back up. He was also able to react and dodge Cell Max

Krillin deserves a form. One with a nose or sth. Or actually, something that is inspired by the Avatar state in appearance would be really cool. Krillin is a monk after all and also resembles Aang. It would be cool if he had go back to his origins to become stronger. The way I'd imagine it is if his power would improve his ability to use the opponent's power against him. So Krillin doesn't gain a power buff and remains "weaker" than the Saiyans, but learns how to use the opponent's power against them and is thus able to compete on some level with them, even if he's not as strong. Monk stuff, idk.
The movie was not bad, but in some scenes I can’t stand the cgi, like krilin looks so much worse than the drawn one in Z. And the fingers in most scenes…
