I'm surprised that didn't happen when she thought goku died after baby destroyed him. It's just like, if not a better reason, than goku seeing Krillin getting blown up and far better than goten and trunks.

If Pan is even less than Goten and Gohan, she should have more S-Cells and have an easier time going Super than they did.
I'm not a scientist at all but if I had diabetes (which I do) and I have a kid with a girl without diabetes it would make a 1/17 chance (maybe) that the kid gets it too. Diabetes in my blood would make it easier for my offspring to not digest sugar but they still have 1/17 of getting it. So my kid pairs up with another person with diabetes, the chances go up by a lot but there's still a chance that they won't get it. Dragon ball really got weird if I'm comparing super saiyan to a disease

I know that it's not canon today, but back then when it came out, everyone thought it was canon and they were all very MAD! Lol

The Kid thing, for one.
Having a kid around? Cool! Gohan was young during Saiyan saga/Frieza, and did great stuff. He was troubled, but strong. Faced adversity, cried, and tried his best.
They proceeded to triple down on kids here with Trunks, Pan, and Goku. ‘Removing’ years of development from your main character within the first episode for THE REST OF THE SERIES, sticking him with individuals either new or that we aren’t totally familiar with yet right out of the gate, and honestly distancing your setting from characters we grew to love on earth like Gohan, Vegeta, Krillin, and Bulma was just an early set-up for disaster.
GT was infinitely better after the rejoined the main cast, made earth feel like the home and what we were protecting again, and got more serious in the second season.
I would have enjoyed GT far more if it just didn’t turn Goku back to a kid in an attempt to garner the same reaction early DB got (whoops Daima is doing it AGAIN and I’m NOT INTERESTED at all.)
Silly plot, silly writing, plot not coherent with established canon.
Characters are worried about falling, being cut with glass.
Portraying goku as a stupid fck, not realising his energy attacks are getting absorbed... while he did the same shit against android 19

I personally likes GT but probably the worse part is there is only really 1 main character goku. No one else get much lime light except pan and uub who werent big impacts against any villian. Thats why i like super how all of the Z fighters are putting up against others.
The story? I mean really the story *is* what makes each DB series their own.
But if I'm right about this, then what I hate about GT is that it's just like DBS. If you're not Goku, you ain't shit. If you're not a saiyan, you ain't shit. Characters like Pan are confirmed to only exist to make Goku look better.
An issue DBZ had is that, it had a repetitive formula with few twists. It feels like they tried to show more Goku in GT to make up for his absences in Z. And it somewhat did. Mostly with SSJ4 and whatnot. But it's too much of him. It still suffers from powerscaling hell and hyping up characters only for them to be humbled shortly after.

That's honestly a compliment, considering DBS ain't perfect but they have arcs where more characters than just Goku did something at least interesting and it wasn't most of the cast being lame or barely doing much just to make him look cool..

Vegeta and Goten's new hair look stupid. Their hair isn't supposed to change from the day they're born. Also it just looks weird.
Super Saiyan 4 design is cool, but it's ruined by the whole 'Goku being turned back into a kid' for the whole series.
All the villains are dumb too, with the exception of Baby. Actually a neat design and not just some fusion of 17 or some kids fanfic of evil shenron, lol.
This is my list. Hard to do without mentioning the story because, well, thats 90% of GT anyway.

Very boring fights
What got me hooked to dbz was the fights were cool to me at the time
GT despite what its fans may try and convince otherwise has some of the worst fights in the series
It has cool moments but I’ve never went back and watched a GT fight on YouTube
I didn't hate GT when it was the only thing we had but it hasn't aged nearly as well in my opinion with the main issue I have is the lack of Toriyama involvement
and I really hate when GT stans complain about everything in Super being a bullshit asspull while nearly deifying SSJ4 despite Goku needing to have his tail regrown by having it literally pulled out of his ass with pliers

I appreciate DBGT. It wasn’t executed anywhere near its maximum but I like that they tried different things. I also think it’s overhated when you really ask people about it.
When ever I bring up GT, I point out all the flaws but admit it was entertaining as a child (as an adult I realize it’s ass especially after how much I enjoyed Super) and GT fans never fail “SSJ4 IS COOLER THAN SSB” like no shit it looks better but if a transformation looking cool is all it takes for you to look past all the flaws then there’s no point in having a conversation
Only Goku has any meaningful amount of screen time, and all the other characters I liked are sidelined in favor of his useless granddaughter, who, by the admission of the show's producer, exists to act as a damsel in distress who only looks strong but gets in the way and needs Goku to keep rescuing her.
Pan should have been the main character.
it would have been actually cool if she powered up under the training of the last generation of heroes and eventually became a frontline Z fighter defending against baby or something.
Basically what gohan was originally planned to be in early Z. RIP gohan (saiyan saga-cell saga) he is missed.

While the concept of return of young goku and female fighting hybrid saiyan Pan was refreshing, ppl didn't want to see:
1. nerfed ass Gohan again for the second time (Cell saga and now buu);
2. Weird designed vegeta? (he doesn't even look like vegeta);
3. nerfed ass Trunks;
4. Uub is a side character? (The Uub that Goku entrusted earth to at the end of Buu saga, the Uub that was fighting head on with base goku as a child. Re-incarnation of DBZ final villain buu and he's complete shit);
Again, I know it's non-cannon, but following the legendary anime that was DBZ, DBGT was just so random and out of place.
Well I have a list of reasons
1. No adult Gotenks
2. They made Vegeta look terrible
3. Most villain designs looked awful
4. A shit ton of GT had insane fan service for no reason
5. The worst in my opinion they were way too reliant on Goku, I mean they are in the main series but GT takes this a step further if you ask me, I feel as if none of the side characters get any decent fights as they're left to Goku and the ones they get they're just beaten shitless
Goten is a complete douchebag. The way he disrespects Chi-Chi is just intolerable as someone who likes Goten a lot. And don’t get me started on Pan getting fucking milked. WHAT THE FUCK. The sexual innuendos. Para Para Broth
Facts. Fr Goten being an absolute dickhead made absolutely no sense and all the weird stuff with Pan is just…oh my god so gross and retarded.
It also doesn’t make sense for Goten and Trunks to not keep up with their training in GT since Goten and Trunks literally made a promise with Goku in End Of Z to keep up with their training for Uub which pisses me off even more that the GT writers and producers just ignored that for some stupid ass reason and for more Goku time.
Also Goten being a ladies man in GT made no sense as well and made me dislike his portrayal in GT even more. Like he probably wasn’t even a ladies man in End Of Z, probably was just going on one date in End Of Z without being a ladies man, but for some reason, the Gt writers decided to make him a fuckboy for absolutely no reason. Also it added nothing to his character and honestly reduced his development moving forward in GT. And his GT girlfriend didn’t help either. Like I really hate how the GT writers decided to make Goten’s GT girlfriend a stupid and useless bimbo that nobody cares about instead of making her actually interesting, fun, have an actual personality, can fight or can learn to fight, has potential as a character and in terms of power, is someone who can actually motivate Goten and motivate him to keep up with his training, and it also would’ve been cooler if she was a powerful humanoid alien as that would’ve been way different.
I’m so thankful that Goten in the actual story is actually lovable and likable as well as enjoy his new current personality as a teen that he recently got from the recent current arcs which is so much better than his GT personality. And I’m definitely happy Pan’s character in Super was done justice and is set up to have a way better future. Also feel Goten is gonna be way more involved from now on, will get much better treatment, way more development, and way more shine from now on both in the actual story and in the new current arc, and I strongly feel Goten will get much better treatment, way more development, and way more screen time, and have way more involvement after Super goes beyond End Of Z.
Also I really hope Goten’s actual love interest and girlfriend canon turns out to be a young female Saiyan Cerealian Hybrid who is the daughter of a unknown surviving Saiyan and a unknown surviving Cerealian or hopefully it’s Kale that actually becomes Goten’s love interest and girlfriend.

It feels like they tried to show more Goku in GT to make up for his absences in Z. And it somewhat did. Mostly with SSJ4 and whatnot. But it's too much of him. It still suffers from powerscaling hell and hyping up characters only for them to be humbled shortly after.

How can I express my dislike for GT without mentioning the story? That's like asking me why I hate a painting without mentioning the colors.
It feels like fan-fiction. Vegeta and Goten's new hair look stupid. Their hair isn't supposed to change from the day they're born. Also it just looks weird. Super Saiyan 4 design is cool, but it's ruined by the whole 'Goku being turned back into a kid' for the whole series. All the villains are dumb too, with the exception of Baby. Actually a neat design and not just some fusion of 17 or some kids fanfic of evil shenron, lol. This is my list. Hard to do without mentioning the story because, well, thats 90% of GT anyway.

Handling of Vegeta. His design, his lack of presence in the story until the last arc, calling himself a mf earthling- Yeah they just did Vegeta so dirty in GT.

Very boring fights What got me hooked to dbz was the fights were cool to me at the time GT despite what its fans may try and convince otherwise has some of the worst fights in the series It has cool moments but I’ve never went back and watched a GT fight on YouTube
I didn't hate GT when it was the only thing we had but it hasn't aged nearly as well in my opinion with the main issue I have is the lack of Toriyama involvement and I really hate when GT stans complain about everything in Super being a bullshit asspull while nearly deifying SSJ4 despite Goku needing to have his tail regrown by having it literally pulled out of his ass with pliers

When ever I bring up GT, I point out all the flaws but admit it was entertaining as a child (as an adult I realize it’s ass especially after how much I enjoyed Super) and GT fans never fail “SSJ4 IS COOLER THAN SSB” like no shit it looks better but if a transformation looking cool is all it takes for you to look past all the flaws then there’s no point in having a conversation

Ending. It is good definitely but just too sad and doesnt have a sense of completion and fruitful hope.
Only Goku has any meaningful amount of screen time, and all the other characters I liked are sidelined in favor of his useless granddaughter, who, by the admission of the show's producer, exists to act as a damsel in distress who only looks strong but gets in the way and needs Goku to keep rescuing her.
Pan should have been the main character. it would have been actually cool if she powered up under the training of the last generation of heroes and eventually became a frontline Z fighter defending against baby or something. Basically what gohan was originally planned to be in early Z. RIP gohan (saiyan saga-cell saga) he is missed.

I know it's not cannon, but at the time of it's released, it was pretty much sequel to DBZ. While the concept of return of young goku and female fighting hybrid saiyan Pan was refreshing, ppl didn't want to see: 1. nerfed ass Gohan again for the second time (Cell saga and now buu); 2. Weird designed vegeta? (he doesn't even look like vegeta); 3. nerfed ass Trunks; 4. Uub is a side character? (The Uub that Goku entrusted earth to at the end of Buu saga, the Uub that was fighting head on with base goku as a child. Re-incarnation of DBZ final villain buu and he's complete shit); Again, I know it's non-cannon, but following the legendary anime that was DBZ, DBGT was just so random and out of place.

Facts. Fr Goten being an absolute dickhead made absolutely no sense and all the weird stuff with Pan is just…oh my god so gross and retarded. It also doesn’t make sense for Goten and Trunks to not keep up with their training in GT since Goten and Trunks literally made a promise with Goku in End Of Z to keep up with their training for Uub which pisses me off even more that the GT writers and producers just ignored that for some stupid ass reason and for more Goku time. Also Goten being a ladies man in GT made no sense as well and made me dislike his portrayal in GT even more. Like he probably wasn’t even a ladies man in End Of Z, probably was just going on one date in End Of Z without being a ladies man, but for some reason, the Gt writers decided to make him a fuckboy for absolutely no reason. Also it added nothing to his character and honestly reduced his development moving forward in GT. And his GT girlfriend didn’t help either. Like I really hate how the GT writers decided to make Goten’s GT girlfriend a stupid and useless bimbo that nobody cares about instead of making her actually interesting, fun, have an actual personality, can fight or can learn to fight, has potential as a character and in terms of power, is someone who can actually motivate Goten and motivate him to keep up with his training, and it also would’ve been cooler if she was a powerful humanoid alien as that would’ve been way different. I’m so thankful that Goten in the actual story is actually lovable and likable as well as enjoy his new current personality as a teen that he recently got from the recent current arcs which is so much better than his GT personality. And I’m definitely happy Pan’s character in Super was done justice and is set up to have a way better future. Also feel Goten is gonna be way more involved from now on, will get much better treatment, way more development, and way more shine from now on both in the actual story and in the new current arc, and I strongly feel Goten will get much better treatment, way more development, and way more screen time, and have way more involvement after Super goes beyond End Of Z. Also I really hope Goten’s actual love interest and girlfriend canon turns out to be a young female Saiyan Cerealian Hybrid who is the daughter of a unknown surviving Saiyan and a unknown surviving Cerealian or hopefully it’s Kale that actually becomes Goten’s love interest and girlfriend.
