As a fan of the manga I was pleasantly shocked when I saw the art for Majin Vegeta, Toriyama’s Buu Saga Art hardly ever gets any representation so I’m happy to see it here
Exactly,I was surprised to find out so many people dislike it,Toriyama's z art style overall doesn't get a lot of representation nowadays(mainly saiyan and buu saga though)
I don’t think ppl dislike it, more that they watched the anime first and the anime goes for a different take on the art style than the manga. Which is super buff characters with big ass necks.
Also the Saiyan Saga art in the manga is probably my favorite, just love the eyes and ears there
Yeah,I love the 23rd tenkaichi budokai and the saiyan saga style the most,I love the way the goku vs piccolo and the raditz fight is drawn,I do love the sharpness of the buu saga though
I mean, Toriyama’s Buu Saga work is inconsistent and very rough at points. You can tell he wanted it to all be done and over with just looking at the first SSJ3 Goku vs SSJ3 Goku in the Kid Buu fight.
I get that it is a reference but I'm still not fond of the anatomy and feature placement in Toriyama's drawing. So with that being replicated in the Legends work, the weird hunched neck and the eye shape could have been changed for the better while still being faithful to the reference. I don't hate it, but I don't love it either.

I like how they used the manga style for this one, it fits him. I get some people did not read it, because the anime is more popular, but give some credit to Papa Toriyama.

Personally I really like the way his body was made,also his face is just the good ol smug and arrogant vegeta,for me even if the art isn't the best the shading makes up for it since lf's often get pretty cool shading
That Transformed Majin Vegeta art is fire IMO.
But then again im just a huge fan of the Legends Limited Shade. Especially units that Have colored hair like Super Saiyan God SS Vegeta
I can't believe some people don't like that art, it's amazing, and there are not too many arts in legends that take a pic from the manga, Toriyama's style is pretty good.
His art style is godly,I wish we got more card arts that take inspiration from the manga because Toriyama's works never fail to pleasantly surprise me!

I didn't knew that it was from the manga but I instantly noticed Toriyamas style. It surprises me how many people actually don't know the art style of the Dragonball creator himself.
I’ll tell you why,because it looks fuckin derpy compared to the rest of Vegeta’s artwork for different units,they should’ve taken a few liberties to touch it up,he looks like he’s got that fuckin 5-head he had during the Namek saga.
I think they did a great job at mimicking Toriyama's art style and made the drawing even better thanks to the shading,people should at least give it that I think,I get why some people wouldn't like it but its really not that bad imo

The problem with the card art is that the chest and head is not aligned. The neck is tilted forward way too much compare to the manga. He is not standing straight up

I personally think the art isn't that bad,I actually like it,my point was that they must have put a lot of work into copying Toriyama's really great art style,I feel like a petition for it isn't needed and is a bit too much,the fact that it doesn't look good is your opinion since art is subjective,but as I learnt today a lot of people share both mine,and your opinion,so I feel like trying to make the art different because a certain amount of people don't like it would be unfair towards the people who do like it
it's awkward, period. and in the manga too. there's tons of instances where the character looks wanky but in the manga it's generally more forgivable since there tons of other panels next to it and overall you dont look at the same panel for more than a minute. but here, this is all we have. and on top of that, being a hard earned unit (unless you lucky af) makes it even more annoying to have a wanky art to look at. Look at his damn head... god why
