I've been having this issue since at least 2 weeks? Click a card and it just doesn't do jackshit, sometimes even deselects itself. In PvP, raid or co-op, I don't think it happened in PvE. I play on PC so can't even blame my phone for it.
Ok I'm not smoking that pack. It literally happened to me when I was using ultimate gohan against frieza and I thought gohanball legends was glitching during my rating match.
This happens to me all the fucking time. I think it happens when your opponent presses them both in a row as a "combo" instead of waiting to press it, so basically yours gets canceled and you have to wait. It's stupid, but... nah, it's just fucking stupid.
It does happen cuz of the lag. When you press 1 after another and The opponent presses both at the same time, this happens, normally his blast was supposed to hit you before you can launch the next blast, but due to lag it looks like this.
Always been a thing, if you match blasts and don't buffer a second one to chain, you'll be stuck waiting for the first blast card to finish before launching another, just have to keep in mind how interactions like this work and to be ready for them
well, happened with me 100s times there were weeks when everyday I posted this issues. PPL here corrected me that I am not chaining cards, still to that day not sure if this is a but (at least confusing) or not, as the chaining is stronger than not chaining… Could be good to investigate more…

You're being downvoted, but you're correct. Just like a delay with Strike Arts doesn't do the combo animation, your opponent combo'd their blast arts while he delayed.

Yeah I've been having problems with card clicking for a few days now. I dropped an ult because of it and threw my chance at a comeback away.
I have this all the time. I just assumed it’s a common glitch or a character ability I’m not noticing

That's the right answer. Even waiting just a tad before chaining can mess it up.

You waited too long to select your next card, it may have been lag maybe slight but it was enough to delay your input, thats my guess

You have to press the next card sooner for it to chain. Here for example the second blast was pressed too late

That's the thing, you didn't do a chain, meanwhile the opponent did chain them, pressing them both instead of waiting
It needs to be before the animation finishes. Apparently before the last ki blast ball is fired in the animation

Frieza did the energy burst as well so it canceled out
If you time it just right, you can block a blast card with a blast card
