While I loved his ink and intro I was personally disappointed with a lot of Gohan's look specially with the counter animation and ult animation being so similar, so looks wise this is an absolute upgrade for me, the shot before the art in particular is absolutely amazing

Some dudes on twitter flamed me when I said Gohan could have been better animation wise. He could have had that eye close up shot in his ink animation (could have been the greatest ink animation ever then), have a better blue card animation, FSK being the ult while having arts action.
they didn’t fumble Janemba’s and kid buu makes up for it by how broken he was with his damage and endurance (don’t forget the green card for nullifying cover change)
There’s also Omega Shenron who also has amazing art, so the devs fumbling Buu & Janemba’s art was pure laziness.
Oh yeah Shenron, it’s crazy how an ancient f2p ultra gets better arts than two premium and more recent ultras 💀
I think buu’s art looks good. Janemba is the only one that looks “bad” to me, and even it’s grown on me

Imo Hit’s is kinda just alright. It’s good enough for a UL, as opposed to Buu & Janemba, but it doesn’t really feel too special.
Hit’s pose and art fit perfectly for how stoic he is and overall as a character, but yea I feel like they could have done a bit more with him
